This was my first Lions game I saw live at ford field. I thought about leaving at he top of the 4th quarter. I am so glad I didn't! This was magical to see live!!!

DAD GUM! This is about too much for this ole 62 year old Lion fan. I literally cannot believe that we have this many good players and hope for the future. We all are being rewarded for the years of loyalty to this team.
One the one hand, it was infuriating to see them fall so far behind. But nothing like seeing them snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat. For years, the Lions would be the team going up by 10, 12 points, but always finding a way to lose. Thank you, DC, and BH! Detroit fans deserve this.

I think it speaks a lot about Jamo’s toughness that, instead of getting multiple TE’s to block on goal line , the lions chose him to get in there and block for David Montgomery on the first and goal for the game winning TD.

Great teams don't let the games get too far out of control and then find ways to win, even if it's ugly.
Exactly. People criticize the defense for giving up 26 points, but they held Chicago to four field goals. People criticize the offense, but they scored 40+ last week.
What is harder to criticize is the coaching and the heart.
This is the kind of game that makes a team unstoppable moving forward.

So many opportunities to score, the Bears assume they will and call timeout to ensure they will at least have an opportunity to score again. Timeout is correct in that situation.

Inside 5 minutes down by 10 or more teams this year were 0-84. Now 1-84. The Lions had a 97% probability of losing that game. But the DIDN'T. Best start since 1962. RIP SOL. Don't you ever come back.

They’re off to their best start since 1962 (61 years ago) and that season they got up to 11-2 that season before losing their final game to finish at 11-3. They could most certainly pass that mark, maybe even win out to go 15-2 with the 1 seed. At the very worst they’ll finish 12-5 which would tie their best win total ever set in 1991, the same year that was the last time they won a playoff game. I could see most likely 14-3 with the only loss being to the Cowboys.

I was there and gotta be honest, there was a Bears fan about four rows down that was just annoying and I was damn near falling asleep by the end of the 3rd quarter. The overwhelming feeling of, "Damn, gotta drive all the way back home knowing we lost to the Bears.", running through my head. With 4:15 left to go the Lions managed to overrun a 12 point defecit. Unbelievable.

I can't believe we're on the other side of this scenario now. It used to be the Packers who would do this to us and we'd have excuses. Sure, some of those flags did cost the game, but the at will ability for the late game push is now something we have because the Lions are finally good.
