We are an integrated pest management company performing german roach service the same way it is performed in hospitals, hotels and public schools for safety and effectiveness, roach control using raid or aerosol sprays will not control the pest problem but will actually make it worse, using over the counter roach baits and bait stations will not work because of improper baiting, roach dust by themselves do not work and most will apply it incorrectly contaminating your kitchen, and forget about roach tablets. if you use any of these roach control products and you spray you contaminated all the products and this is why most fail.

Dealing with a roach problem is undeniably stressful, but understanding how to get rid of roaches, particularly through eco-friendly methods, can transform this challenge into an achievable task. It's essential to recognize that cockroach control is not just about immediate extermination; it's about creating an environment where they can no longer thrive.
Cockroaches are one of the most common pests worldwide. These resilient insects are notorious for their rapid reproduction and ability to adapt to various environments. Traditional pest control often relies on chemical solutions that might be harmful to the environment, pets, and even your family, emphasizing the need for eco-friendly alternatives in managing these unwelcome intruders.
Eco-friendly cockroach control begins with understanding the nature of these bugs. Cockroaches, like all living beings, require water, food, and shelter for survival. They are attracted to warm, humid environments and often nest in dark, secluded areas, which is why they're commonly found in kitchens and bathrooms.
The most infamous among these species are the German roaches, known for their preference for residential spaces as they provide ample food sources and ideal breeding grounds. A German roach infestation is identifiable by their small size and two dark stripes located on their back. They are particularly concerning due to their fast reproduction rates and their ability to carry diseases, making prompt and effective cockroach control a necessity.
In the realm of eco-friendly pest control, prevention is the first step. Do it yourself by maintaining a clean living space. Regularly take out the trash, store food in airtight containers, and keep your house clutter-free to eliminate potential hiding spots. Seal up cracks and crevices around the home, fix leaking pipes, and ensure your home is well-ventilated, creating an environment less attractive to these pests.
However, if you're already facing an infestation, don't panic. There are several eco-friendly solutions available to combat these pests. Cockroach baits are an effective method. These products attract roaches with a food source (the bait) that includes a slow-acting poison. The roaches take the bait back to their nest, where it eventually eliminates the entire colony. Opt for baits that use boric acid, a substance that is lethal to cockroaches but has minimal toxicity to humans and pets.
It's crucial to remember that dealing with a significant infestation, particularly with prolific breeders like German roaches, might require professional assistance. Eco-friendly pest control services are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to tackle severe infestations in a manner that's safe for both your family and the environment.
Furthermore, educating yourself on the various species of roaches and their behaviors can be immensely beneficial. Knowledge is your first line of defense in preventing an infestation. For instance, understanding the signs of a German roach infestation can prompt early intervention, which is crucial in managing these pests.
Cockroach control doesn't have to be a toxic battle. With eco-friendly options and a bit of know-how, you can protect your home from these resilient bugs and create a healthier living space. Whether you choose the do-it-yourself route or enlist professional help, the key lies in being proactive and persistent. After all, a roach-free home is a happy home!

You demonstrate that it will just attract them from out of the cupboards, appliances, etc. within my apartment. I love the assurance that I do not have to empty the drawers and cupboards. Great video - well done (watched it twice). I had 5-6 roaches the first 3 years in my unit. I emptied cupboards and cleared all wall space. The landlord sprayed in February (they won't gel) . Roaches surfaced with increased frequency since then. I went to HomeDepot - bought a multi bug - powder, it is still sitting under the couch, bookcase, back of kitchen sink, etc. No luck. Roach infestation increased. I put gel (antBgon by ortho) down a month ago.(2 tubes, a month ago and another tube since). i still have some baby roaches (and a few new large one's, caught on my ducktape traps). I"m not sure if they are migrating in from another apartment, or just hatching and I'm working my way through the gestation period. Your video said 30 days, I think gestation is 6 weeks but not sure. Any additional thoughts? I have plants in the livingroom,(not tossing them) thinking I need restrict watering to small morning dosages.. Any other suggestions. Open to guidance from anyone who reads this. Thanks in advance - happy new year.

job well done and pretty thorough i might say to boot. sealing of cracks and crevices with a good clear silicon after baiting into small cracks and crevices steps the game up as well. getting that cardboard dust liner off the back of the frig and sucking out out any live roaches speeds up the process. now for the big let down...cheap landlords and business or even people do not want to pay for the extra time it actually takes to get rid of their problem. answer mr. bug man... ignore them and focus on building a base of serious customers that want that type of service. 25 yrs in the business and i do not waste my time on cheap skates and tire kickers asking a million questions!

Cockroaches will choose a sink full of dirty dishes or a greasy stove area any day of the week over a gel bait. Additionally, a lot of strains of cockroaches aren’t attracted to glucose based baits. They will more or less walk up to it, smell it then run in the other direction. I guess my point is, there’s never one silver bullet solution.

Thank you very much for the free lesson. Right to the point. No bullshit yadda yadda this that. I have had a relatively annoying problem with German roaches in my house usually in the kitchen and in the studio/office. They like to hide inside my guitar pedals and speakers, etc.
They also like to hide and live in between the hardwood floors, in between the spaces of each piece of wood. We're talking about 2-4 MILLIMETER spaces. A FREAKING disaster. Nuisance. It's so gross to have these things. It has helped to have cats (1 in the home and 2 outdoor ones) as they are supposedly natural predators. But you still need to clean, kill, and SEAL UP HOLES CRACKS. For wood spaces I would look into a polyurethane based caulk or Lexel caulk.

The exterminator that treated my apartment this week was not as through, only applied gel to the back of the door of my kitchen cabinets and left after a blink of an eye. Moving forward I will be my own exterminator. i purchased the Advion gel and will apply as demonstrated. I also have the harris tablets which are somewhat helpfuI . I admit I did empty my drawers, cabinets and medicine cabinet. Im hopeful after educating my self on roaches and holistic treatments. By the way, what is that wand/extender thing you attached the gel tube in your hand?I want to purchase that to make treatment easy.

Is learned a lot about roach control. Where you are showing cabinets on the wall & to refrigerator is where they are. Our apartment management brings the tool you showed which does not work. So do I place the glue under the sink and the kick plate. Under the sink looks just like to the one in my unit.. Where do the roach hide in the back of the stove? How can I lift the burner unit ? If I have roaches in my unit are they in surrounding units ? My last concern can I apply the bate product over the other treatment? Your video is informative and helpful. Thank you learned a lot today now I ' m going to get rid of roaches.

Hes exactly right. German roaches are carried in the apartment. I worked for a guy that did 33k apartments a month. When we had germans in the kitchen we went in and did a roach clean out. Used intruder X and got them running, and then used another chemical and killed them on the spot.
Swept them up and called it a day.

Also how do you determine the level of infestation ?

I'm a technician and I like gel bait. It has its uses but I personally prefer a granular bait called niban. That stuff works great and doesn't have to be reapplied every week like gel baits because it's in a granular form!!!

    • @NaturepestNaturalPestControl
      @NaturepestNaturalPestControl  3 года назад +3

The problem is that niban does not work well for german roaches it works much better for large roaches like American and Australian
