I know many people don't have the attention span to watch more than ten minutes, but I do appreciate it not being broken up into twenty parts. It's cleaner and more organized to have it all in one package. Thank you!

3:32:00 except when the mounting tabs are grounding tabs to ground the metal outlet box

And that is a grounding outlet, has the little odd colored tab on the bottom screw which marks it as one that has grounding screw tabs

Lock the breaker box, mark it as locked for work

Iam a new subscriber and I absolutely love your videos. My favorite part of watching your videos, is that you are human and you know that so if you make a mistake you don't cut it out, you claim it and figure out how to fix it exactly like the rest of us have to do on any job or project we are on. A lot of the other videos show flawless perfect jobs which make newbies think they can handle some of the projects because they make it look like it is so simple and that there are no hidden problems, which is not true, because there are issues on every job no matter who you are. I admire the confidence you have to claim your faults and that you don't try to make us think you are the master carpenter of all time that doesn't make mistakes. Your a rockstar!!!

Fluidmaster makes an awesome wax free ring. It also comes with a riser if needed.

I love all of your videos and am constantly learning from you. I let out a bit of an "ahhhhhh" as you handled the wax ring with your bare hands. Lol....keep up the fantastic work.

If you want a good connection on your outlet I would splice both wires and make a pig tail on it then use the screws. One wire has less chance of failing than two

I'm not allowed to renovate my place, also not really into these kinds of DIY but I watched this whole thing and really have to give you props!
You're making plumbing and repairings more "approachable", I appreciate it. you are a great at what you do, yet not afraid to show us that you can make mistakes as well.
Oh, and all that pearls of wisdom throughout had me smiling when I just need to shut off for the day: "hook the wire around the screw, stop being lazy"
"guess in the comments where did this go wrong"
"you don't need to be a masters electrician to do this, it takes just as much as having engineering degree to drive a car"
"that's a lot of bulb! I just needed 60W didn't know I had to get something the size of my car!"
"now that wil cost me 1500 bucks in hospital bills.. Just joking, I don't have to pay, I just didn't want to rub it in" LMAOOO

1:54:14 If you don't care about brands, the Irwin ones go on sale for like 6.50, i bought one using it way more than i thought each time i fix drywall.

I found your channel a few months ago & I am amazed at how much knowledge I've gained. I really like that you point out how Not to do it or Why to do things certain ways! I've owned my home for almost 30 years & I've never had the knowledge to have input when people come to fix things, not to mention Me actually being able to do it. So at the very least, I can now make sure things are getting done correctly & throughly. This is an invaluable tool for female home owners! Thx for all the great content! Had I known the things I've learned, I guarantee you the workers that came to my home would of done things Right the 1st time. Love your channel!
