    Nice comparison! We have two Helinox Chair Ones and have the same issue with sinking into softer ground. We could have bought the ground sheets as well, but that just seems like a lot of extra faff. Would have gotten the Ground Chairs if we could choose again. You might already know this, but a tip for the Chair One is that you can attach the empty chair bag on the chair, before attaching the seat fabric. That way you have a pocket under the seat and a place to store a phone and a few other items, for example if the ground is muddy or sandy. If extra weight is added to the bag there's also less of chance it'll tip over or fly away when not in use. And when you want to pack down the chair you know where the bag is.

    • @tshansen
      @tshansen  4 года назад +2

      Brilliant tip mate... I did not think of this or know about this. Amazing 👏🏻 Yeah, you can add the extra ground sheet, but it one more thing you need to put on, and it has a high prizetag as well. One other thing i like about the Ground Chair, you can sit with comfort inside the tent without bending your head 👏🏻Cheers

    Thanks for your great recommendation, Thomas. I really loved the low Helinox, very comfy after a hard day's riding. Easy to set up, easy to fold it back again, good quality. Perfect tool for the two weeks of ACT Pyrenees on my Transalp 600. Now I need some rest after 4,000 km ;-) Helinox is waiting for the next adventure. Friends also had the Helinox table with them, impressive kit as well.
