You must have weak mag springs once I get to about 15 or 20 you need your speedloader which really doesn't matter because it won't feed them anyway,I just finally called Kel Tec after breaking a fireing pinafter 5 years and less that 500 rounds and the Tech told me that I could send it back to them to be serviced but after 3 years they would no longer honor the "LIMITED" Lifetime warranty and it would cost me $$$ on top of shipping fees

I absolutely LOVE my PMR 30, but would actually shoot it and enjoy it if it wasn’t a jammamatic 30. I can’t get more than 4 rounds out of that thing without it jamming up. I had one years ago that always tan perfectly but unfortunately had to sell it. I bout this one and was SO excited about it until I tried shooting it.

Thanks for the video. I wish you made a PMR with an eight or nine inch barrel. I'd love to have the smaller size of the pistol with the bullet velocity that comes with a few more inches of barrel. The .22 WMR would be a viable self-defense round if a gun had a bit of barrel length and very reliable feeding.

Glad you made this video. I just bought a new PMR 30, my first one, and I found loading the mags were a royal pain. Not only was it a pain, but I chose to stop at 21 rounds per magazine, for fear of damaging a round and getting it stuck. I will try this the next time I empty my mags. However I will say, pain though it be, using CCI 40gr rounds, I did not have one single malfunction, so yes, I like my little new best buddy!

I don't understand why Kel-tec does not do a little dremel work on the action and loading ramps. It would only take a few minutes. And the fitting of the magazines to the magazine catch is a bit variable between guns, with some not being able to rake up a round cause the magazine lips are riding too low.

If you want to make the customers happy I would suggest selling the PMR-30 and CMR-30 with the American Speedloader Nest loader right in the box . It makes loading these mags fast and fun taking the learning curve out of the equation. It loads every round exactly the same avoiding the rim lock issue and you dont have to smack the mags on the bench avoiding possible damage. The only downside is it makes mag dumps so much fun you need to buy more ammo.

I was loading the Grendel magazine and found it surprisingly easy. I expected a lot more trouble being such a long case, and so many rounds of ammunition. Most of the time when you have a situation like that, the friction really gets hard to overcome near the end. Good magazine design.

Nothing but trouble right outta the box. Feed issues out the ass..500 rounds in front sight flew off and disappeared.. 700 rounds into it the firing pin broke..they sent me a new front sight.. was gonna send it back for the firing pin and feed issues and they told me a 7 week turn around.. so I ordered a couple firing pins and other parts at my expense instead. Installed new firing pin today and it's working again. I did the five minute fix on one mag but used JB Weld instead and it worked like a charm 200 rounds thru the mag I did and not one FTF The other mag I didn't do I can't get thru 6 rounds without a FTF. Didn't do the other mag and still have FTF issues so i'm gonna do that one to. Told a keltec rep over the phone last week about the fix and his comment was "well I don't see how a little super glue is gonna do anything" with a don't care sound in his voice. Well here's a clue buddy ..it sure as shit fixed my FTF issue and quite a few other guy's on YT also. It doesn't take a mechanical whiz to notice the gap between the bottom of the grip and the top of the mag base plate. HENCE the JB WELD fix. I shouldn't have to MAKE a brand new gun work. So am I limp wristing ..NO !!! am I BITCHING.. fuckin aye right I am. This is a 49/51 gun. 49% you may get a good one..51% you won't. Keltec needs to fix their shit in this case instead of letting their customers do I for them. Sorry for the long rant ..just had to unload :) But I will end with this ..when this gun actually works it is a friggin blast to shoot :)
