- Finally here it is - part four of the funvid.
(Again - don't take it serious! It's just a joke.)
It was very difficult to change the origin songs. Main song has become "Motherme" now, a DM-Demo which had never been worked out properly. There are cover versions of "Dangerous" (by Umb), "Happiest Girl" (by Fictional), "Judas" (by Daniel Bellini) and "One Caress" (by Will & Raphmode).
Also you can hear a piano session in some bar in which Mart sang "In Your Room" and the refrain of Recoil's "Control Freak" - "you're all I need to get high". And "It's in everyone of us", a song which Dave sang in a church.
Omfg, this is better than any fanfic I've read. xD

By the way - the story about Fletch's nipples in the beginning is an origin talk between Dave and Fletch which took place during an interview in 1981 ;-)
I loved how you summed up Mr. Clarke's public persona in the closing credits -- "The Enigma". Exactly. Not to mention "Mart The Girl".

@logiclust - As far as I know it was recorded during a hotelbar session in 1998 or during Singles Tour. Mart was singing "In Your Room" and then added the refrain of "Control Freak". I found it at a Recoil fanwebsite but I'm not sure at which. Try Recoilnet19 as search word or BlackBox, the German Recoil website. I think somewhere there was a link to this recording.

Only just found this. Really absurd and funny ! A DM fan from Tora Tora/Boys, Vince started using the S&M bondage/leather image Martin copied it when he left, with the early 80s "androgynous look" a reaction to the machismo of what became pop-punk. Sure, drugs and sexuality were explored as we sought to challenge boundaries and all stereotypical images whether punk, biker, rocker or gayclub were used as equally ironically.

To be honest - I don't have the slightest idea where, when and why this photo was made and what the hell David is doing there :D When you look close to the picture you see that it is just his hand ;-) But I cut it, of course, in a way that you can't be sure ...
@XabiAlonsosCousin To be honest (remember, I'm a f*** liar) it's an alien-thing. The poor comet came somewhere from the milkyway. They tried to bring it back with Sounds Of The Universe (remember them wearing astronauts' suits? ;)) but they haven't told me if it worked. :(

@southgraphic I'm not sure about. It was one of these hotelsessions, something between 1998 and 2001 I would say. And he doesn't sing Marvin Gaye's "you're all I need at the end"! He sings "you are all I need to get high", the refrain from Recoil's "Control Freak". I found it on a Recoil-fansite. I'm not sure which. I think recoil19.net. If you send me a pm with your email I can send you the whole recording.
