(RIP dish granted x)
Yup! Like most culture's food, it's a rotating cast of the same ingredients and processes in slightly different ways. I haven't cooked much Korean food (I'm still trying to source authentic ingredients), but it's basically just using what you have in the house for the most part. It's super basic, super delicious, and super easy!
Oh, I really like this video concept. And I enjoyed Steven and Brittney's easygoing vibes. This video was very relaxing to watch and it made me hungry. 😉 I'm looking forward to next week.
I really enjoyed this, and there's a ton of potential for where they can take the show. Personally, I'd love to hear more about the subjects' lives and cultures, their stories behind the food, etc. A live conversation rather than a pre recorded segment would also be cool. Steven's always seemed to be interested in the "people side" of food, and I agree that that's the best part about shows like this!
I definitely feel like Shane has a good chance because he's such a wild card. He'd either go all the way or get taken out immediately because of a really random decision. His utter lack of fear would serve him very well though! I think Steven's competitive nature COULD get him far, but it could also be his downfall as well. Ryan might be okay, if he goes full Ricky Goldsworth. Loved the episode too! I'm definitely gonna try some of this! Microwave miso and rice sounds like a really satisfying and easy lunch.
Ryan would be an agressive gremlin during Squid game, Shane would be drumming his bellybutton and making friends, and Steven would be berating the guards about getting him real food.

I've been out of college for a while, but I had morning class days, and no class days. If I had class I would put a slice of bacon cut in half in my skillet, and add an egg once there was a little grease. I put all of that on a piece of toast and walked out the door. I usually made stew in my crock pot. Which was potatos(reds are actually pretty nutritious), carrots, stew meat, and seasonings, but you mix it up however you wanted. A pot of stew was generally enough for 2 or 3 meals, and I could shove my whole crockpot in the fridge. Non class days, I would make malt o meal, with an unhealthy amount of sugar(I'll admit it was probably more sugar and butter the actual food), and toast. Sometimes I would make bacon, but I only had one pan, so I'd of had to clean it and then make the bacon. Lunch was tuna sandwiches, but, I just put the mix in a bowl and ate it with goldfish and extra pickles and onions. And usually more stew for dinner. Or I would take noodle packets and add vegetables to them, with a little extra seasoning. And my snack/meal was french fries with cheese and bacon on top(but they changed how they made my frozen fries and I haven't bought any since). I basically only eat the stew still. If I want vegetables I roast them in the oven(garlic, garlic salt, and butter, wrapped in aluminum foil, then toss lightly so the butter can coat everything).

the crossover I never knew I needed
Love this series idea! I love seeing what other people eat. Especially if it’s something that I can make at home to change up my routine!
I love this concept so much and I love watching steven cook! It's so soothing :)
Congratulations Steven on your marriage to Tammy Cho, she is absolutely gorgeous!
Series idea: Spooky Games, a series where Ryan and Shane play some of the scariest games on the internet. I suggest episode 1 be A Gracewind Tale: Do you copy?
I LOVE this new show. That iced tea is amazing! I’m so happy and so hungry, which doesn’t usually happen at the same time… Can’t wait for the next episode 😄

This is really great. I love to see how other people eat in a day so I have a feeling I'll love this show and that was the perfect first episode since I also love Korean culture.
