Honestly the most informative thing I've seen about NPHC sororities. Thank you so much for sharing you have no idea how much this has helped me. I also have a question. I am currently in community college but want to start going to events now. Is it to soon? should I just wait until I transfer to start going to events?
Great video, Sorors! 💙💙💙 What you mentioned about keeping the colors simple is very true. I went to my first meeting, after crossing, in red pants 🤦🏽♀️ because I was heading somewhere after the meeting and my Sorors got me in check lol
My daughter is going to school this fall so we are watching different sororities. My cousin was a Zeta and i’m sorry it was terrible for her . I really don’t understand why our black sororities always make it hard and full of struggle... all that money and she was miserable the whole time it wasn’t a sister hood a whole lot of messy females
I’ve talked about this in a different video. When you are choosing a sorority you are also choosing the chapter. If you do your research and you feel like you 100% want to be a member, but you feel the chapter is not a good fit then you don’t have to join. You don’t have to choose a different sorority either. If you truly want it then you can choose to pursue membership through a different chapter. That bad experience a person has with a particular chapter is not a reflection on the entire organization. I completely understand the frustration though.
xoxoTL It's when older members, or "bigs", give youngest members, "littles", gifts over a three day period. Then bigs reveal themselves on the third day. If you don't do that then what do you do to celebrate new members, and connect new and older members?
+Naomi Gibbs got you. We don't have "bigs" we have prophytes. And you're prophytes are everyone in the chapter that come before you. Most people do receive gifts from their prophytes, but it won't be anonymously and probably from more than one person. And you'll get to know those people by meeting them at their events and because they will be the ones teaching you about your Sorority once you are accepted.
Most undergraduate chapters have public neophyte presentation shows. Often the new members will do a performance/presentation of their organization's and chapter's history, traditions, symbols, etc., and will also present themselves and their new names and numbers to the college community. There are other things orgs do internally to connect specs (which is sort of the NPHC version of bigs/littles).
My 35 year self is watching this like I even went or go to an hbcu 😭 I guess it’s wishful thinking 🤷🏾♀️ looks like something I would have liked to do but I can’t dance let alone “stroll” lol
I do not understand what you are recommending or advocating. There are many different sororities with a wide variety of characteristics and membership expectations. More sororities belong to PanHel than to the NPHC. It appears that you may be suggesting NPHC sororities over a PanHel sorority. If so, why?
Unfortunately not. Your money will be due pretty quickly after you’ve officially been chosen. That’s why it’s best to plan ahead and save if you know this is something you want to do.
@@justalaysia honestly it just popped up on my home page but since I’m here might as well give you this word in the books of Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness( fraternity/sorority), but rather reprove(expose) them. Don’t hate me I’m here to do a job.
LOL You sound stupid. You literally cannot sell your soul. If you read the Bible you weirdos wanna misquote so much you’d know that no one is sinless except Christ. So clearly no one is born starting in the track to heaven to even sell their soul to lose their spot in the first place. Keep that same energy for white sororities and keep your cult to yourself.
You don't know how many young ladies do not have a business outfit. OMG!! It's so frustrating. Glad you brought out that in the video.
Lenora Catchings have you ever thought about they may can't afford it
Lenora Catchings it’s not cheap...
Love it! You do know what to say.... Zeta is a business! Any organization is a business, and should be treated as such.
Thank you!
Great tips Sorors! You would be surprised how many grown interests on a grad level don't even understand this basic interest etiquette!
I like how you gave examples for the what can you do for us part. I always see people saying it but I never know what they mean by the question
This is probably the most informative video I've found thank you ladies
Such an informative and well presented video Sorors whether undergrad or grad!
Thank you soror! That means so much!
Awesome tips Sorors!!! Number 6 is the truth!! Being a Zeta is a luxury 💙🕊

I would just like to say thank you. My questions have been answered and this video has been very informative.
We're so happy this helped you!
I loved this video this really helps me answer all my question, at first I was very confused now that I watched this I'm knowing more thank you😊
We are so glad we helped!
I love how finer my soror'z are.
Sister Greeks, you hit on some information!
I love the beautiful ladies of ZETA PHI BETA!
Lovely video, and I think I just became your 100th subscriber 🙂
Nice job Sorors!
Do NPHC sororities have something like "Big Reveal Week" like NPC sororities?
I'm not familiar with Reveal week... but if it's some sort of coming out event NPHC has probates where we perform and showcase everything we learned.

What about if there are no members on campus of the org you are interested in?
Any sororities that have events they put filers up around the campus.

I didn’t go to an HBCU either

Is there a payment plan?
Unfortunately not. Your money will be due pretty quickly after you’ve officially been chosen. That’s why it’s best to plan ahead and save if you know this is something you want to do.
xoxoTL appreciate it
Great job Ladies!
omg we have the same name .
Twinsies 🥰
It sounds like kissing butt. I never give my soul to any organization what benefits the organization can give me
You clicked on a video about how to get into a Greek org and you’re telling me you don’t want to get in?? Lol okay.
Such some finer women 😍😍😍
Sending souls straight to hell sad sad sad
Searching for videos you don’t agree with just to waste your time making ignorant comments about things you know nothing about… sad sad sad

HOW TO GET IN?
SELL YOUR SOUL 👍🏽
They got these kids fooled... a business lol
