- I should have done this months ago. I finally get around to putting in the solid mounts for the transmission. I had a battle with these things for the last 4 days. Take my advice in the video and don't end up like me. To make me feel better hit that Subscribe button!!
Hey Tom! That's an awesome looking build! I'm working on mine right now as well. Where are you sending your stuff to get vinyl wrapped?
Well I’m in a holding pattern right now due to having a new born but I’ll get cranked back up before we know it. I’ll probably go with someone local on the wrap. Not really sure tbh
@@tfletchera87 Congratulations on being a new dad! I'm looking forward to see more of your videos and your progress.
@@Richard76773 thank you! Yeah just hang in there and I’ll start pushing more content out.
hood look like an easy shape to wrap with vinyl, try it yourself, what is really hard is concave and tight convex shapes, non on that hood.
The top wouldn’t be bad. It’s the nose 👃 that’s tricky
Great video. I sent Michael a email. I live about 3-4 miles from his factory. Hope he gets back to me. I would like to see one of these kits before I order one. It’s cool to find one so close. And a little advice on the wrap. I did a boat myself and it turned out great. You can get the materials from eBay and save a lot of money. It’s very easy to install. Watch some RUclips videos. It’s very forgiving and easy to pull back and redo if you mess up. I bet you can buy all the materials to wrap the hood for under $150-$200 bucks depending on what wrap you pick. And it’s only a couple hour job at the most. Hope this helps. Love your videos on the build.
Great Job!!!
Those solid mounts definitely have a tight tolerance. It would be interesting to try pre-installing the engine assembly to the sub-frame.
Can’t wait to see it completed
Same dude!
I fought with mine and had to walk away and finish another day and that was with nothing else installed.
Man I’m telling you I was mad. I drilled mine out a little.
