Even though I live this life of discipleship in action, this teaching comes at the right time and calls into question a lot of things about my lifestyle and especially the fact that I am completely pleasing to the Lord. The judgment seat of Christ is not to be a fear to us but an assurance and a cause for joy to continue to practice righteousness here. Thank you brother, it's coming at the right time.
I was just hoping for revelation on 1 Corinthians 15:34ff. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the faithfulness of believers such as Torbin. My husband just caused me to be arrested for a trumped up charge after he financially abandoned us. When I sat in jail, I prayed and remembered the woman caught in adultery. We are caught in the evil systems of men that can cause us to be victimized by the devil. But even in these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Pray for my husband who is an apostate. He has been falling away from Christ for six years. Thank you.

I was just praying in church this morning asking God to reveal to me what it means to fear the Lord as a believer. There is no condemnation to those who are "in Christ". So what are we fearing? Displeasing God? Being punished? Failing to be worthy (being found unworthy and missing heaven? Many are called, but few are chosen, they all had better things to do than answer the King's call to join him at the wedding feast).

In the parable of the talents in Matt 24, the lazy servant was a servant "of the Kingdom", but he got thrown out into the darkness with the hypocrites where there was weeping and gnashing of teeth. Who will weep more than a Christian who thinks they are "in Christ", but aren't? They think they are going to get a "well done" and they get a "depart from me" instead. "You worthless servant" the Lord says to him, "put him with the hypocrites (who pretended to have his master's interests at heart, but really had his own). Do you feel you "walk by the Spirit"? What does that mean? How do we do it?
I have to tell you about two dreams I have had a few months ago. Both different but one going to see Jesus drifting in the night sky so clear, the next had owl's in it and I felt Jesus was with me the earth fell away and we were floating in the night sky with the bright shining stars, clear and beautiful.
This teaching may be correct, but it can lead to misunderstandings and wrong motives. If you are reaching people with the gospel because you will be rewarded for it in heaven, then you are on the wrong path. Your motivation should be God-given love and need for people. And because we obey Jesus' command to go into the world to preach the gospel. Love you Torben.
You have been liberated, filled with the Holy Spirit, and speak in tongues because of your simple teaching in the New Testament, which every person can learn, even if they are deprived of knowledge. You were able to go out and preach and heal the sick immediately in the name of Jesus, and now like the rest of the priests and pastors you are returning to knowing and interpreting the Old Testament. This is not the Torbren I saw on RUclips two and a half years ago, who taught me obedience, simple faith, and how to live as a true disciple of Christ!
