I'm 14 years old and have the gift of discernment... I understand things at higher rates than others and my level information is high... my dad who is literally gifted in God told me I have this gift, as well as my mom.. thank God. But it is not for my advantage, it is for God and His Glory. Everything I have is for God, not for me. My life is only to serve Him.

I have that gift. The Holy Spirit speaks to me. He whispers instructions. Especially discernment of spirits. I live in this world but I am not from this world. I live in Christ and He lives in me. The Holy Spirit strengthens me to withstands the world. I am hated for my love of Christ but He reminds me that the world first hated Him. I love you Jesus my Lord and Savior.

The one thing I was missing all of these years was love. If we anchor our gifts in God's love, you can't go wrong. God has helped me to forgive people, look on them with compassion and empathy while also maintaining the courage He gives me without it becoming callous and mean. He's still working on me but everything is better with His love and patience.
Same here. God’s love is key. I pray for his mind, heart, and mouth and for the Holy Spirit to lead me in everything. Discernment will have you being judgmental without it and He is the only judge.

If I may share my own experience... as stated, LOVE was the missing ingredient, or rather, a correct understanding of GOD'S LOVE for ME, and once I began to grasp His sacrificial love, and realize what *I* had called 'love' was just trauma and selfishness in disguise, and I really took stock of all the harm I had left in my wake, I realized everyone who'd done me 'wrong' had either taught me something, or revealed something similar within myself, even the really painful heartbreaks were full of wisdom, if I would but seek it, instead of run from the pain and blame others, I was freed from the majority of my unforgiveness. The key to forgiveness, for me, was reframing the offense into GAIN, and realizing how damaged someone else must be to behave the way they did, because I was so messed up and dead inside, and hated myself for all the things I was doing, but couldn't seem to help myself... my mind was broken. My perspective so far askew... I was looking out for ME because no one else was. But God was. Anyway, I'm rambling. There's a book called "The Bait of Satan" written by John Bevere that really helped me gain deeper discernment in my own (and others') unforgiveness. I highly recommend it. God Bless! 🙏

I have this gift of discernment… I never knew it was called discernment until the past few years. I use to call it a curse, because I see right through people and things. But it’s also a blessing at the same time♥️ The Lord is definitely sharpening this gift. As He heals my heart and delivers me daily, I am learning how to discern correctly. I had this gift my whoole life this gift is powerful what I do when I pray for someone I ask holly spirit show me what spirit of operating in that person I’m praying and by being next to that person I sense that spirit in her so start to pray for that person for deliverance or direct them where to go to get prayed for deliverance if you don’t do deliverance
I wish for this gift, as I am so unaware of others intention, either for good or bad. I usually avoid addressing the issue, or not knowing if there is one. I have to say the snake has to bite me before I notice anything is wrong. This has been a problem for me all my life.
On my 18th birthday Jesus Christ became very real to me and showed me He was still healing today. I knew before my son took his life that a tragedy was going to happen in our family and I couldn't stop it everyday that feeling grew stronger. Two days before my ex died I had a dream that our son called and told me he died.in the dream I had no feelings at all about hearing of his death. I have the gift of discernment. When I was younger, I was naive and didn't really see the 'bad' in others. However, through several traumatic experiences, and lots of reading and formal study I learnt all about immature and secular personalities, the personality disordered, and recalcitrant egos... The Holy Spirit gifted me with discernment by viewing psychology in a spiritual perspective. I can now readily sense 'wrong' spirits anywhere, but, mostly I wisely wait for some words or attitude from them before I confirm. I believe that I’ve always had this gift. I remember even as a child when other kids were excited for something and I never felt that it sat right within me. I’ve carried this always. Even when I wasn’t with Christ. I’ve never been prone to falling into group excitement or hysteria. I’m always standing alone. Well, now I stand with my husband. That was God’s second gift to me- the discernment and someone to share it with.
I understand completely. Maybe the gift of discernment causes us to stand alone, as I have as well. I always felt like the proverbial square peg trying to fit in the round hole. I used to joke and say I'm the fish swimming upstream when all the rest of the fish are swimming downstream. I am thankful G-d moved me to where He did. It took many years, but I have been in the right place now for 15+ years. I am now 70 yrs old. praising Him constantly!
I have the Gift of Discernment - I relate to those saying it’s a “blessing” & a “curse”… I always say that I’m like a walking lie detector. I can feel the words, the non-physical, movements, sounds, etc. I am getting better on the timing on when to speak what I know…timing is always key.
Timing yes!! I recently had Holy Spirit guide and teach me, and I said so basically I'm like a lie detector/scanner. I've come to understand this is why some people are uncomfortable around me, or right off they feel bare and makes them feel vulnerable and that makes their darkness upset as well. They think oh no I'm found out, I may have to go.
It really is a blessing and a curse especially when what the Lord shows you isn’t good. Almost always when God shows me something bad He tells me to keep it to myself because He says others have to see it for themselves.
I have the gift of discernment, I am also an introvert. Not sure if it's related but I think it is because I can "see" people within a few minutes of meeting them or sometimes just people I'm around and never spoke to them. My "feeling" are always spot on and are revealed sometimes immediately and sometimes weeks, months even years later. I've warned my husband about friends he's had for years that I've just met and I get a feeling that doesn't sit right with me or they are a good person. I guess that's why I stay to myself a lot and don't have many friends because its's draining. When I try to explain it people just think I'm stuck up or being judgmental.
I did. I recognize everything he has said. I didn't know that there are a few dots that were supposed to be connected. A lot of the comments that I have read so far, I can relate to. Because I didn't recognize the dots to connect I get really frustrated with myself. My experience is having a conversation that goes off in my head with the person that I just had an encounter with. Then I think to myself, why didn't I say all that to the person that could have benefitted from it. And again, should I go back and say what I was thinking? Then I just dismiss it. To me, this would be one of the many disconnected dots. I understand everyone's comments. I can tell when something just isn't setting right. I beat my chest with the side of my fist and then wait for the clarity of what I'm sensing that is not up to par. Nonetheless, I keep trusting in God, because I know that He is the author and finisher of my faith. Keep being blessed to bless.

You are describing me, it was there before I even got born again. I can see & sense spirits, I can see peoples true intentions, sense presence and things years before they even happen, I can smell things in the Spirit, hear things in the Spirit, discern and hear thoughts. As I was growing in the gift, it was tough and I didn't enjoy having it! Today I thank God he has blessed me with the gift! Those who say it's a curse lol I said that so many times, I can relate. It truly is a gift from God. It happens in many ways for me. A feeling when I see in their eyes, body language and in just the tone of their voice. There are times when my hairs stand on end. I attempt to warm people I care about but most of the time, they dismiss me and they think I'm a little dilusional which i know where it comes from. Some, just don't see the warnings. 😢
Yes... This gift has been with me since birth... I became the scapegoat in my family... I didn't start to understand it until I was in my mid 30's... And when I began to study it biblically and Began to learn about spiritual warfare... I wasn't prepared for the enemy... I lost everything when my husband told me... "There's no room for God's work in this house"... I chose God... hoping and praying that GOD would speak to my husband's heart... He divorced me... It broke my heart and crushed my spirit... I became "dormant"... So to speak... And quietly studied and researched this gift for 13 years... I turned 50yrs old and decided that I wasn't going to be a scapegoat anymore... Please pray for me...

God got you out of that situation. There was not going to be peace. I am going through a divorce right now. My husband was I Narcissist. At first, I couldn't believe a person could be so evil. I nearly lost myself trying to please him he was always mad. He would turn in a nice person sometimes. But it was like walking on eggshells. I'm glad God got me out of that situation. He threatened to hurt himself and other people, so I wouldn't leave him. I would have lost myself through a toxic marriage. Now, since I've been gone, I had to release the pain within myself and my ex-husband.
@@Oceanlady-b2z I completely understand. My dad is a narcissist, I continue to be a scapegoat even though I'm in my late '60s now. I put a stop to it. He did the same to my late mom. Unfortunately, I was also married to a narcissist. You have to be really careful because certain occupations attract narcissists. One of them is clergy. You can really tell if you ask a question about scripture, or you don't agree with something they say. Watch the reaction. It's just like what your husband did. If a minister or a priest gets upset about a question, or speaks to you in a way where it is disrespectful that you would question their authority, run!

I have it. It's a huge responsibility, it can be lonely, but I feel grateful that the Lord gave me this gift. Constant learning. Growth. My favorite thing about this gift has been educating people who are scared of things like evil spirits, demons, or people who dabble in whichcraft, that these things have absolutely ZERO POWER! The only power they have, is the power we give them! Do not to be scared of these things in anyway! Fear helps them to gain strength, your fear in them, gives them the power they need to come to life. Jesus took that power away from all of those things in the desert. So don't give it back.

I agree with others it’s a gift He has given me! I was in a Church as a young Christian and they were teaching a false doctrine about prosperity.. hissing and howling. God was showing me the error and danger. One of the most difficult times of my Christian walk. I walked away and the Church dived and failed. Broke my heart especially for the new Christians. God used this time to reveal this gift to me through this. I praise Him for this even in the pain! I now pray and search His Word as a confirmation.

When you have the gift of discernment not everyone will receive it and you may doubt it. I still use it to recognize good people and pay it forward when I can. I plan to use it to help my kids especially when they get older. Hopefully they will consider my wisdom. 🤞🏽

I could usually tell within minutes of meeting someone if they are someone to be trusted or not. Also, what they’re feeling about me and how they judge others. It’s very hard to explain. I’m not perfect but I can “read” others without much information. We need to ask our lord and savior how it can useful for him! 😊
I think it’s most important to mention that the gift of discernment itself isn’t necessarily given first. He first gives you the gift of knowledge and this gift compels you to study his law and Word day and night. He then gives the gift of wisdom and this is to utilize His knowledge properly. And then he will give the gift of discernment.
Sorry, but I have to disagree about the discernment, as a small child-- under the age of 1 years old, I talked to GOD daily. I literally just can't ever remember not talking to my FATHER, my LORD, JESUS CHRIST & THE HOLY SPIRIT ❣️ I have a really hard time trying to understand how/why no one has had the same relationship with our Father in Heavenly !! For me it's just natural and I don't know anything different. It took me a long time to realize that not everyone had the same relationship with the LORD 🙏❣️ So, I have had to patiently 🙏 Pray for my brethren to be enlightened with the LORD 's truth & be saved !! Family secrets always make their selves known eventually. I was thrilled to find it out, but it may not be a good idea to let everyone know. I have the gift of discernment. Before I was a Christ follower I was called an empath. I feel what others are feeling. I know the problem right away. People don't like that. Now empaths are called Highly Sensitive People. I prefer that I have been blessed with discernment and Discernment of Spirits. This solidified this all to me.
I had that growing up too. It's super easily exploited by the demon oppressed/possessed. My dad fell from the faith and suddenly developed narcissistic personality disorder, something he never had growing up, and for 9 years i was his target. There were a lot of things that he did and his girlfriend and her kids did, as well as spirits I saw and fought that convinced me something was wrong. I wasn't the only one who could see it either. I don't live with him anymore, but I have been at such peace by being away from him. When I walk in his house or if he's nearby I can almost feel it. He used it to hurt me and make me doubt my reality but it's getting easier to discern between the physical and spiritual
Yes I even have dreams and sometimes they come to pass. I can see people in my dream never seen them before but in time end up seeing them , I can walk into a room feel good from evil , I can even smell when bad is around the list goes on. I pray alot for others and the Lord shows me certain things that I don't like what I see it breaks my heart but I've came to understand it is my purpose. He shows me certain things to help others.
I can tell you I have the gift and I can give you an example. You are lead by the Spirit and I will give you an example on your teaching. No teacher is perfect, but you do something unique. You have mastered how to cleanse ourselves of sin, by boasting as Paul says about your weaknesses. You examine yourself during each time you give direction, taking the speck out of your eye first. You bare and share and when you say something is not profitable, I want to listen and follow and I know you have a large following that feels the same. I have had these gifts since I was very young (gave my life to the LORD at a very young age) I can see and feel everything even when I just hear a name mentioned on the phone! I have been told I was crazy and judgmental, over reacting. UNTIL everything I said comes true. I am not much of a talker.

I can see when people are fake, lying and know things about them that I couldn’t possibly know! My brother used to tell his friends don’t lie to her, she will know.
I retired from working in the county. I interviewed many through the years and could discern. Those who were frustrated and struggling would yell, scream at first. I would listen then tell them it’s going to be ok and gave the best outcome for their needs. Before they would leave, they would say “I’m sorry for yelling “ and leave smiling. All for God’s glory.
Thank you for confirming this God given gift in me because I had prayed and desired it before and many times I had told people close to me what I knew through the Spirit. Only later they acknowledged that it was true. But I don't have the boldness at times not wanting to be misunderstood. I need to pray for wisdom to speak the truth in love

This is totally me! I see things way ahead of time, or can see the "bigger picture" when others might not. I also can sense evil spirits in people. Question for you David: When you discern things and when you want to warn people, how do you get people to listen to you? Sometimes, we get categorized as "conspiracy theorists", "cynical", "paranoid", so when you discern things, how do you get people to LISTEN and BELIEVE?
be clear and concise dont get emotional, delivery and tone needs to be presented and in forms of questions rather than rattling words of feeding words they're not ready to receive. look at how the evil is doing it. wrapping it up pretty in a hyper trendy cause for benefit. people only care about their comfort and how it benefits them. show how what you're sharing is benefitting them and dontget so emotional or worked up over anything. plant seeds, the battle is God's and show with personal efforts and actions and love
@@PLeejo 100% and in every way we have train ourselves to handle our words with care and how we represent the Lord. farmers and gardeners handle the entire process with care and logic combined. when we sow the seed with intention of saving them from their own selves/this world... we're not as emotional/self righteous or eager to deliver clear messages whether it be the gospel or what's happening/corruption. the goal is to save and not to be correct or validated and i think most people get their messages lost in translation or rejected because of the delivery. we have to train ourselves to be good vessels

Helpful words yes but many, many equate the feeling of conviction to being treated rudely, callously cuz they feel uncomfortable or bad. You're gonna feel bad, uncomfortable if the Spirit and/or the word convicts you.

In Isaiah, He reasoned with man-kind when never needed to. Its very frustrating going into detail with hard hearted stubborn beings. God in all of His wisdom was long suffering and reasoned and communicated so we're given time to comprehend. This is what I meant. I never once said to alter or sugar coat anything. The Word exists to nourish and give life, God is the author of life. we can't use His manna to wack them over the head, using scriptures to point fingers. and I've seen people do this often. Overly zealous in things they're personally struggling with or have over-come the same things therefore the delivery in tone/speech of God's good words are done in self righteous zealousness. God reasoned with man kind and we must sow seeds with care. Its all I said, I never said to sugar coat His Words. We can't use it to condemn others. It even says in the book of Jude to be patient with family of believers, we're called to make disciples. Just as now I'm saying one thing and you're hearing/seeing another when I haven't said a thing about altering scriptures. We have to reason, be slow to anger, share and communicate because the goal is to yield fruit. A parent yelling at their kids WALK NOW how can you not walk you're already x years old cant you see?! WALK! vs a parent showing, communicating, nourishing. It makes a big difference.

Deep desire for this gift.(1Corinthians 14:1) Passion means purpose and desire means destiny. 4. You can pin point the problem without being vague(Hebrews 4:12) 5. Legitimate credibility of your gift . (Proverbs 18:16)
I feel a little expressive today so I'm going to share and Go to give my reason WHY I don't give to online ministries. Because I'm part of a community that is full of the needy and hungry and All of my giving goes to them. I give to the one's I have emediate contact with and I give when I'm approached for spare change. I don't drive a car, I ride buses so I have a lot of contact with the needy people of my community sometimes I wish I had the financial support that you online ministries have. I am part of the poor ministers who do not have financial support from anybody except God and give everything we have to the one's who really need it. God bless you.
I have the spirit of discernment. I can discern spirit things and I can tell most whether a person I'd lying or telling the truth. Also I can read people's minds and know what their intents are. I.had a spiritual awakening 6 years ago and my.whole life changed. I can see ppl for who they are even if they try to hide it. It can be overwhelming at times but.theres an obvious reason why.god gave me this gift I'm sure in due time I'll find out why. Amen father god

Healing gifts left with the apostles. Nobody has apostolic authority or gifts. Nor can you will yourself to have them like those blabbering gibberish and claiming to speak in tongues while breaking all the rules for speaking in tongues. Rev 2:2 says to test them. Mark 16 says that they are able to handle snakes and drink poison if they have the apostolic signs. You don’t have the signs if you don’t have the apostolic authority (Romans 15:18-19 is Paul speaking about his authority). Paul lost his apostolic gifts before the end of his ministry. He couldn’t heal himself, Timothy, or Trophimus. I doubt this guy gonna drink any poison and prove himself. Show me a healer, and I’ll show you a liar…

If they say that they’re an apostle, then rev 2:2 says test them. They’re found to be liars. These new modem versions/translations have been corrupted to support false doctrines such as this, or water baptism is all that is needed to be saved, or titles of Jesus’ (Christ, Lord, Savior, etc) deity. They also removed verses that instruct the Christian to fasting and prayer for help. Everything that has been removed from scripture can be found in the KJV 1611 AV. It follows the Byzantine/Antioch manuscripts. These new Catholic influenced bibles use corrupted Alexandrian manuscripts translated by Origen whom thought himself authority, and he changed scripture whenever he didn’t understand or if it didn’t sound reasonable. We are not to lean on our own understanding. God’s thoughts aren’t our thoughts.
Such a great word. The last year or so God has been awakening me spiritually to the gifts he has given me. Needless to say, the last year has involved a LOT of repentance and surrender. I started noticing a strange feeling I would get all over my body coupled with a euphoric feeling of joy when either hearing certain things about God, speaking things to others, or hearing testimonies, as well as a similar feeling on my body coupled with extremely distressing emotions when hearing something that I just knew was demonic in nature. In the last year as a trauma therapist, I have also suddenly been seeing a large number of my clients with trauma also with demonic strongholds. Somehow I just know based on these feelings that the issues are demonic and I have been helping people get delivered. I have been seeing demons manifesting right in my office! After looking for help, I came across a lot of teachings on the demonic that I knew based on God’s Word were not Biblical. Your book on the truths of demons and warfare has helped me a lot in that, as well as allowing the Spirit to teach me. As I’ve surrendered, repented, and spent more time in the secret place of God’s presence I have seen this gift growing and I now know what it is. God has taught me a lot through you, thank you for your work. Additionally, wow, at my daughters hybrid Christian/homeschool school there is a woman who speaks every year and I never liked listening to her and would judge her. But this year was different. As she spoke I felt the amazing confirming feeling of God’s presence as she spoke on boldness and courage in our children and shared testimonies of God’s work. I felt no judgment like I used to. I realized after listening to your lesson today that I discounted her in the past because of the church she attended and I would miss everything she said. This time I gained so much and felt such peace and encouragement in place of judgment and discomfort. Thank you for your obedience in bringing truth! Praying God’s continued favor and blessing over you, your family, and your ministry.

Thank you so much for this share sister. I believe I have a similar gift. But it started with my own traumas and demons. Even being followed and touched/abused by these demonic spirits personally. Through my own repentance, personal relationship with Jesus, as well as understanding I can sense these demons in others. I studied trauma informed somatic embodiment and am planning on combining this with deliverance. Once I know the word better…It is insane, almost as if one day the blinders just disappeared and now I can see all of leaks that were in my own life but also in the lives of others. This is me! And nobody will believe me, and most treat me poorly. So poorly that I have stopped saying anything. I know what they don't know, and I'm steps ahead. In college, I took the Myer/Briggs test. One of the letters in my results is I, intuitive. And it is rare. Only 0.3% of the people in the world have this trait. I've learned not to say anything to anyone else. To me, that is possibly viewed as gossip. I can not stand gossip. I have withdrawn myself from this type of atmosphere, and sometimes, I'm the outsider. And that's OK with me. More than half of the time, I prefer to be a loner. And then they call me a snob or that i think I'm better than others. I'm totally misunderstood. I try to avoid drama as much as possible. When it is necessary, I say something, either to tell them, what I see negative or positive. I am an honest person. I've always heard, "a true friend will tell you the truth to praise and to tell you if you have a bugar hanging out your nose instead of not saying anything at all and laugh at them and others laugh at them and gossip about them". "Do unto others as you would have done to you." The great "GOLDEN RULE". "Remove the plank from your own eye before you try to take the plank out of other's eyes." If I say something to someone that is viewed as negative, and that is not my intention. I say to others that if I can point out the negative things, I must point out the positive. Try to tell others, good job, pat them on the back so they know they are appreciated. Whereas, most of the time, people will only say the negative things. We all need to hear we are appreciated, too. Gossip that and spread it all around you. It will become contagious. That is the hope for mankind!
Yes you have described me, I am aware of this gift from my childhood when I got baptized with The Holy Spirit. Sometimes I thought that I was overly critical but now I understand what it is and I need to learn from The Holy Spirit how to continue to move in this gift helping building the body of Christ. Amen 🙏. Myself as well. I thought I was helping people be their higher or better self and assisted them with their issues. I guess not though since people were always making me the bad guy time and time again. I had to realize that people themselves were just comfortable in their bs and people prefer what's comfortable and had to just move on. I Refused to dim my light when I knew I came with love. I had to learn how to give and if they don't accept it, let it go. We cannot force a crackhead to get clean, they have to want it for themselves. I have the gift, but have not had the experience of it helping build the body of Christ. The Christians I have been around do not receive it well or as one of G-d's gifts. I have learned to keep what I perceive mostly to myself and my husband. I was told when I was quite young by a Pastor, who recognized I have this gift, that I would have a hard time using it in the church. He was so right. I find that most church leaders want Sunday school teachers and chair-stackers. Not those gifted with discernment, wisdom and knowledge and certainly not prophecy.
This video is over a year old. I’ve been struggling with knowing if I have these gifts or if I have delusions of grandeur. The adversary wouldn’t want me to have these gifts. I was in a situation with a narcissist whom will never tell the truth and I wanted to know some things so bad in order to make proper decisions. I prayed to God for the power of discernment and he gave me way more than I actually wanted. I suddenly saw everything that happened in the past 15 years. Small things that I questionned at the time and let go suddenly became clear 100% as far as what that incident really was. I really just wanted to know about the past 2-3 years and the power of what he gave me was almost more than I could handle but it saved my life. This was not a one time thing. This discernment has continued throughout our break up and I don't know what I would do without it. Pray people! It's the only thing that works but come to him with a heart that is true and ready to commit to him. The rewards are great.
I’ve always felt like whatever church I went to, whoever was speaking, whatever music is playing my Jesus is the same everywhere and I will hear his vice where ever I go, he will give me joy and satisfaction everywhere and I pray that he will let me feel him and learn what he wants me to learn. Yes. I have had it for years. But, did know how to use it. And at times when I tried to warn people, they would not listen. When someone is evil, I can feel it. I once seen the walking dead. I knew the person. But, it was plain as day. I once seen the back of a spirit or Angel standing over a dieing person, and I heard pray for the passing. And I did. I was given the gift of discernment when I receive the gift of tongues. I prayed for the gift of tongue and God bless me with both. I call this gift the gift of feeling. It only happens when the Holy Spirit decides, which is almost all the time. Why I call it the gift of feelings is because I can feel what or how people are feeling. I can tell what is going on in their minds by their feelings. I also can feel what God feels when God shows me, but this is mostly through dreams and visions. Many times, God tells me. Mostly, God want His people to love one another and stop being lovers of themselves. Love God, love people, not as you want, but as God asked you to. I understand things at higher rates than others and my level information is high... my dad who is literally gifted in God told me I have this gift, as well as my mom.. thank God. The one thing I was missing all of these years was love. If we anchor our gifts in God's love, you can't go wrong. God has helped me to forgive people, look on them with compassion and empathy while also maintaining the courage He gives me without it becoming callous and mean. He's still working on me but everything is better with His love and patience.

If I may share my own experience... as stated, LOVE was the missing ingredient, or rather, a correct understanding of GOD'S LOVE for ME, and once I began to grasp His sacrificial love, and realize what *I* had called 'love' was just trauma and selfishness in disguise, and I really took stock of all the harm I had left in my wake, I realized everyone who'd done me 'wrong' had either taught me something, or revealed something similar within myself, even the really painful heartbreaks were full of wisdom, if I would but seek it, instead of run from the pain and blame others, I was freed from the majority of my unforgiveness. The key to forgiveness, for me, was reframing the offense into GAIN, and realizing how damaged someone else must be to behave the way they did, because I was so messed up and dead inside, and hated myself for all the things I was doing, but couldn't seem to help myself... my mind was broken. My perspective so far askew... I was looking out for ME because no one else was. But God was. Anyway, I'm rambling.
There's a book called "The Bait of Satan" written by John Bevere that really helped me gain deeper discernment in my own (and others') unforgiveness. I highly recommend it. God Bless! 🙏

I have this gift of discernment… I never knew it was called discernment until the past few years. I use to call it a curse, because I see right through people and things. But it’s also a blessing at the same time♥️ The Lord is definitely sharpening this gift. As He heals my heart and delivers me daily, I am learning how to discern correctly. I wish for this gift, as I am so unaware of others intention, either for good or bad. I usually avoid addressing the issue, or not knowing if there is one. I have to say the snake has to bite me before I notice anything is wrong. This has been a problem for me all my life.
On my 18th birthday Jesus Christ became very real to me and showed me He was still healing today. Before meeting Jesus I was very fearful of people but He filled me with such compassion for them that I began praying for anyone He led me to. I am now 64 years old and my heart is burning with passion to see His Kingdom on Earth, that everyone would see Jesus for who He really is and the great love of the Father. Thank you for this very clear and loving message about the gift of discernment, I wish this could be shared with every Christian, because we do need to understand what discernment really is and Isn;'t, and we need to become mature sons of God, loving each other not harming each other, because the world is looking for the image of God in us.

Two days before my ex died I had a dream that our son called and told me he died.in the dream I had no feelings at all about hearing of his death. I knew a close family member was going to betray me but in the end it was a blessing in disguise. She meant it for evil God turned it into a blessing in my life.praise God he does take care of his children and protects them from harm.
I have the gift of discernment. When I was younger, I was naive and didn't really see the 'bad' in others. However, through several traumatic experiences, and lots of reading and formal study I learnt all about immature and secular personalities, the personality disordered, and recalcitrant egos...
The Holy Spirit gifted me with discernment by viewing psychology in a spiritual perspective. I can now readily sense 'wrong' spirits anywhere, but, mostly I wisely wait for some words or attitude from them before I confirm. It's an important gift to tell right from wrong because the truth is vitally important - because "the truth will set us free..." John 8:32 - Amen 🙏💖👑➕️🙏👏

I believe that I’ve always had this gift. I remember even as a child when other kids were excited for something and I never felt that it sat right within me. I’ve carried this always. Even when I wasn’t with Christ. I’ve never been prone to falling into group excitement or hysteria. I’m always standing alone. Well, now I stand with my husband. That was God’s second gift to me- the discernment and someone to share it with.
I understand completely. Maybe the gift of discernment causes us to stand alone, as I have as well. I always felt like the proverbial square peg trying to fit in the round hole. I used to joke and say I'm the fish swimming upstream when all the rest of the fish are swimming downstream. I am thankful G-d moved me to where He did. It took many years, but I have been in the right place now for 15+ years. I am now 70 yrs old. praising Him constantly!

Timing yes!! I recently had Holy Spirit guide and teach me, and I said so basically I'm like a lie detector/scanner. I've come to understand this is why some people are uncomfortable around me, or right off they feel bare and makes them feel vulnerable and that makes their darkness upset as well. It really is a blessing and a curse especially when what the Lord shows you isn’t good. Almost always when God shows me something bad He tells me to keep it to myself because He says others have to see it for themselves.
I have the gift of discernment, I am also an introvert. Not sure if it's related but I think it is because I can "see" people within a few minutes of meeting them or sometimes just people I'm around and never spoke to them. My "feeling" are always spot on and are revealed sometimes immediately and sometimes weeks, months even years later. I've warned my husband about friends he's had for years that I've just met and I get a feeling that doesn't sit right with me or they are a good person. I guess that's why I stay to myself a lot and don't have many friends because its's draining. When I try to explain it people just think I'm stuck up or being judgmental.

I did. I recognize everything he has said. I didn't know that there are a few dots that were supposed to be connected. A lot of the comments that I have read so far, I can relate to.
Because I didn't recognize the dots to connect I get really frustrated with myself. My experience is having a conversation that goes off in my head with the person that I just had an encounter with. Then I think to myself, why didn't I say all that to the person that could have benefitted from it. And again, should I go back and say what I was thinking? Then I just dismiss it. To me, this would be one of the many disconnected dots.
I understand everyone's comments. I can tell when something just isn't setting right. I beat my chest with the side of my fist and then wait for the clarity of what I'm sensing that is not up to par.
Nonetheless, I keep trusting in God, because I know that He is the author and finisher of my faith.

You are describing me, it was there before I even got born again. I can see & sense spirits, I can see peoples true intentions, sense presence and things years before they even happen, I can smell things in the Spirit, hear things in the Spirit, discern and hear thoughts. As I was growing in the gift, it was tough and I didn't enjoy having it! Today I thank God he has blessed me with the gift! Those who say it's a curse lol I said that so many times, I can relate. It truly is a gift from God. It happens in many ways for me. A feeling when I see in their eyes, body language and in just the tone of their voice. There are times when my hairs stand on end. I attempt to warm people I care about but most of the time, they dismiss me and they think I'm a little dilusional which i know where it comes from. Some, just don't see the warnings. 😢

God got you out of that situation. There was not going to be peace. I am going through a divorce right now. My husband was I Narcissist. At first, I couldn't believe a person could be so evil. I nearly lost myself trying to please him he was always mad. He would turn in a nice person sometimes. But it was like walking on eggshells. I'm glad God got me out of that situation. He threatened to hurt himself and other people, so I wouldn't leave him. I would have lost myself through a toxic marriage. Now, since I've been gone, I had to release the pain within myself and my ex-husband.
@@Oceanlady-b2z I completely understand. My dad is a narcissist, I continue to be a scapegoat even though I'm in my late '60s now. I put a stop to it. He did the same to my late mom. Unfortunately, I was also married to a narcissist. You have to be really careful because certain occupations attract narcissists. One of them is clergy. You can really tell if you ask a question about scripture, or you don't agree with something they say. Watch the reaction. It's just like what your husband did. If a minister or a priest gets upset about a question, or speaks to you in a way where it is disrespectful that you would question their authority, run!

I have it. It's a huge responsibility, it can be lonely, but I feel grateful that the Lord gave me this gift. Constant learning. Growth. My favorite thing about this gift has been educating people who are scared of things like evil spirits, demons, or people who dabble in whichcraft, that these things have absolutely ZERO POWER! The only power they have, is the power we give them! Do not to be scared of these things in anyway! Fear helps them to gain strength, your fear in them, gives them the power they need to come to life. Jesus took that power away from all of those things in the desert. So don't give it back.
be careful when advising people these things have power it comes from Satan. Satan has power which he manifests through wicked men by tempting devils. The truly Holy Ghost baptised (not the nonsence tongue talking) blood bought children of God are the only ones who are protected and can discern. I agree with others it’s a gift He has given me! I was in a Church as a young Christian and they were teaching a false doctrine about prosperity.. hissing and howling. God was showing me the error and danger. One of the most difficult times of my Christian walk. I walked away and the Church dived and failed. Broke my heart especially for the new Christians. God used this time to reveal this gift to me through this. I praise Him for this even in the pain! I now pray and search His Word as a confirmation.

When you have the gift of discernment not everyone will receive it and you may doubt it. I still use it to recognize good people and pay it forward when I can. I plan to use it to help my kids especially when they get older. Hopefully they will consider my wisdom. 🤞🏽

I think it’s most important to mention that the gift of discernment itself isn’t necessarily given first. He first gives you the gift of knowledge and this gift compels you to study his law and Word day and night. He then gives the gift of wisdom and this is to utilize His knowledge properly. And then he will give the gift of discernment.
Sorry, but I have to disagree about the discernment, as a small child-- under the age of 1 years old, I talked to GOD daily. I literally just can't ever remember not talking to my FATHER, my LORD, JESUS CHRIST & THE HOLY SPIRIT ❣️ I have a really hard time trying to understand how/why no one has had the same relationship with our Father in Heavenly !! For me it's just natural and I don't know anything different. It took me a long time to realize that not everyone had the same relationship with the LORD 🙏❣️ So, I have had to patiently 🙏 Pray for my brethren to be enlightened with the LORD 's truth & be saved !! This is a very short "version", but my Prayers are consistent for all to be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ 💕🙏❣️ May The LORD watch over you and protect you, bless you and give you Peace 🕊️ 💕🙏❣️ Yes, I found out that I am Jewish. Family secrets always make their selves known eventually. I was thrilled to find it out, but it may not be a good idea to let everyone know. I have the gift of discernment. Before I was a Christ follower I was called an empath. I feel what others are feeling. I know the problem right away. People don't like that. Now empaths are called Highly Sensitive People. I prefer that I have been blessed with discernment and Discernment of Spirits. This solidified this all to me.
I had that growing up too. It's super easily exploited by the demon oppressed/possessed. My dad fell from the faith and suddenly developed narcissistic personality disorder, something he never had growing up, and for 9 years i was his target. There were a lot of things that he did and his girlfriend and her kids did, as well as spirits I saw and fought that convinced me something was wrong. I wasn't the only one who could see it either. I don't live with him anymore, but I have been at such peace by being away from him. When I walk in his house or if he's nearby I can almost feel it. He used it to hurt me and make me doubt my reality but it's getting easier to discern between the physical and spiritual

Yes I even have dreams and sometimes they come to pass. I can see people in my dream never seen them before but in time end up seeing them , I can walk into a room feel good from evil , I can even smell when bad is around the list goes on.

I can see when people are fake, lying and know things about them that I couldn’t possibly know! My brother used to tell his friends don’t lie to her, she will know.
I retired from working in the county. I interviewed many through the years and could discern. Those who were frustrated and struggling would yell, scream at first. I would listen then tell them it’s going to be ok and gave the best outcome for their needs. Before they would leave, they would say “I’m sorry for yelling “ and leave smiling. All for God’s glory.

This is totally me! I see things way ahead of time, or can see the "bigger picture" when others might not. I also can sense evil spirits in people. Question for you David: When you discern things and when you want to warn people, how do you get people to listen to you? Sometimes, we get categorized as "conspiracy theorists", "cynical", "paranoid", so when you discern things, how do you get people to LISTEN and BELIEVE?
be clear and concise dont get emotional, delivery and tone needs to be presented and in forms of questions rather than rattling words of feeding words they're not ready to receive. look at how the evil is doing it. wrapping it up pretty in a hyper trendy cause for benefit. people only care about their comfort and how it benefits them. show how what you're sharing is benefitting them and dontget so emotional or worked up over anything. plant seeds, the battle is God's and show with personal efforts and actions and love

@@PLeejo 100% and in every way we have train ourselves to handle our words with care and how we represent the Lord. farmers and gardeners handle the entire process with care and logic combined. when we sow the seed with intention of saving them from their own selves/this world... we're not as emotional/self righteous or eager to deliver clear messages whether it be the gospel or what's happening/corruption. the goal is to save and not to be correct or validated and i think most people get their messages lost in translation or rejected because of the delivery. we have to train ourselves to be good vessels

Helpful words yes but many, many equate the feeling of conviction to being treated rudely, callously cuz they feel uncomfortable or bad. You're gonna feel bad, uncomfortable if the Spirit and/or the word convicts you.
@@PLeejo when God approached Adam and Eve in the garden, he approached them with a question first, not accusation. I never said to sugar coat anything. In Isaiah, He reasoned with man-kind when never needed to. Its very frustrating going into detail with hard hearted stubborn beings. God in all of His wisdom was long suffering and reasoned and communicated so we're given time to comprehend. This is what I meant. I never once said to alter or sugar coat anything. The Word exists to nourish and give life, God is the author of life. we can't use His manna to wack them over the head, using scriptures to point fingers. and I've seen people do this often. Overly zealous in things they're personally struggling with or have over-come the same things therefore the delivery in tone/speech of God's good words are done in self righteous zealousness. God reasoned with man kind and we must sow seeds with care. Its all I said, I never said to sugar coat His Words. We can't use it to condemn others. It even says in the book of Jude to be patient with family of believers, we're called to make disciples. Just as now I'm saying one thing and you're hearing/seeing another when I haven't said a thing about altering scriptures. We have to reason, be slow to anger, share and communicate because the goal is to yield fruit. A parent yelling at their kids WALK NOW how can you not walk you're already x years old cant you see?! WALK! vs a parent showing, communicating, nourishing. It makes a big difference.

1. You are free of jealousy and bitterness i.e you don't speak only negative (Hebrews 12:15)
-Simon the sorcerer wanting the Holy Spirit but with misguided intentions.
2. You base your discernment on the Bible (Hebrews 4:12,1Corinthians 12:1-3)
-It is the discerning of spirits not discerning of personality.
3. Deep desire for this gift.(1Corinthians 14:1)
Passion means purpose and desire means destiny.
4. You can pin point the problem without being vague(Hebrews 4:12)
5. Legitimate credibility of your gift . (Proverbs 18:16)

I feel a little expressive today so I'm going to share and Go to give my reason WHY I don't give to online ministries. Because I'm part of a community that is full of the needy and hungry and All of my giving goes to them. I give to the one's I have emediate contact with and I give when I'm approached for spare change. I don't drive a car, I ride buses so I have a lot of contact with the needy people of my community sometimes I wish I had the financial support that you online ministries have. I am part of the poor ministers who do not have financial support from anybody except God and give everything we have to the one's who really need it. God bless you.
I have the spirit of discernment. I can discern spirit things and I can tell most whether a person I'd lying or telling the truth. Also I can read people's minds and know what their intents are. Praise the the Lord for this wonderful gift. I have been able to distinguished between true and fake prophets.

Healing gifts left with the apostles. Nobody has apostolic authority or gifts. Nor can you will yourself to have them like those blabbering gibberish and claiming to speak in tongues while breaking all the rules for speaking in tongues. Rev 2:2 says to test them. Mark 16 says that they are able to handle snakes and drink poison if they have the apostolic signs. You don’t have the signs if you don’t have the apostolic authority (Romans 15:18-19 is Paul speaking about his authority). Paul lost his apostolic gifts before the end of his ministry. He couldn’t heal himself, Timothy, or Trophimus. I doubt this guy gonna drink any poison and prove himself. Show me a healer, and I’ll show you a liar…

If they say that they’re an apostle, then rev 2:2 says test them. They’re found to be liars. These new modem versions/translations have been corrupted to support false doctrines such as this, or water baptism is all that is needed to be saved, or titles of Jesus’ (Christ, Lord, Savior, etc) deity. They also removed verses that instruct the Christian to fasting and prayer for help. Everything that has been removed from scripture can be found in the KJV 1611 AV. It follows the Byzantine/Antioch manuscripts. These new Catholic influenced bibles use corrupted Alexandrian manuscripts translated by Origen whom thought himself authority, and he changed scripture whenever he didn’t understand or if it didn’t sound reasonable. We are not to lean on our own understanding. God’s thoughts aren’t our thoughts.

Such a great word. The last year or so God has been awakening me spiritually to the gifts he has given me. Needless to say, the last year has involved a LOT of repentance and surrender. I started noticing a strange feeling I would get all over my body coupled with a euphoric feeling of joy when either hearing certain things about God, speaking things to others, or hearing testimonies, as well as a similar feeling on my body coupled with extremely distressing emotions when hearing something that I just knew was demonic in nature. In the last year as a trauma therapist, I have also suddenly been seeing a large number of my clients with trauma also with demonic strongholds. Somehow I just know based on these feelings that the issues are demonic and I have been helping people get delivered. I have been seeing demons manifesting right in my office! After looking for help, I came across a lot of teachings on the demonic that I knew based on God’s Word were not Biblical. Your book on the truths of demons and warfare has helped me a lot in that, as well as allowing the Spirit to teach me. As I’ve surrendered, repented, and spent more time in the secret place of God’s presence I have seen this gift growing and I now know what it is. God has taught me a lot through you, thank you for your work.
Additionally, wow, at my daughters hybrid Christian/homeschool school there is a woman who speaks every year and I never liked listening to her and would judge her. But this year was different. As she spoke I felt the amazing confirming feeling of God’s presence as she spoke on boldness and courage in our children and shared testimonies of God’s work. I felt no judgment like I used to. I realized after listening to your lesson today that I discounted her in the past because of the church she attended and I would miss everything she said. This time I gained so much and felt such peace and encouragement in place of judgment and discomfort. Thank you for your obedience in bringing truth! Praying God’s continued favor and blessing over you, your family, and your ministry.

Thank you so much for this share sister. I believe I have a similar gift. But it started with my own traumas and demons. Even being followed and touched/abused by these demonic spirits personally. Through my own repentance, personal relationship with Jesus, as well as understanding I can sense these demons in others. I studied trauma informed somatic embodiment and am planning on combining this with deliverance. Once I know the word better…It is insane, almost as if one day the blinders just disappeared and now I can see all of leaks that were in my own life but also in the lives of others. This is me! And nobody will believe me, and most treat me poorly. So poorly that I have stopped saying anything. I know what they don't know, and I'm steps ahead. In college, I took the Myer/Briggs test. One of the letters in my results is I, intuitive. And it is rare. Only 0.3% of the people in the world have this trait. I've learned not to say anything to anyone else. To me, that is possibly viewed as gossip. I can not stand gossip. I have withdrawn myself from this type of atmosphere, and sometimes, I'm the outsider. And that's OK with me. More than half of the time, I prefer to be a loner. And then they call me a snob or that i think I'm better than others. I'm totally misunderstood. I try to avoid drama as much as possible. When it is necessary, I say something, either to tell them, what I see negative or positive. I am an honest person. I've always heard, "a true friend will tell you the truth to praise and to tell you if you have a bugar hanging out your nose instead of not saying anything at all and laugh at them and others laugh at them and gossip about them". "Do unto others as you would have done to you." The great "GOLDEN RULE". "Remove the plank from your own eye before you try to take the plank out of other's eyes." If I say something to someone that is viewed as negative, and that is not my intention. I say to others that if I can point out the negative things, I must point out the positive. Try to tell others, good job, pat them on the back so they know they are appreciated. Whereas, most of the time, people will only say the negative things. We all need to hear we are appreciated, too. Gossip that and spread it all around you. It will become contagious. That is the hope for mankind!

Yes you have described me, I am aware of this gift from my childhood when I got baptized with The Holy Spirit. Sometimes I thought that I was overly critical but now I understand what it is and I need to learn from The Holy Spirit how to continue to move in this gift helping building the body of Christ.

Amen 🙏. Myself as well. I thought I was helping people be their higher or better self and assisted them with their issues. I guess not though since people were always making me the bad guy time and time again. I had to realize that people themselves were just comfortable in their bs and people prefer what's comfortable and had to just move on. I Refused to dim my light when I knew I came with love. I had to learn how to give and if they don't accept it, let it go. We cannot force a crackhead to get clean, they have to want it for themselves. In fact the only way people get clean is when they finally want it for themselves and no one else. ❤ he is still working in both of us and I pray about it as well. Peace and blessings 🙌.
I have the gift, but have not had the experience of it helping build the body of Christ. The Christians I have been around do not receive it well or as one of G-d's gifts. I have learned to keep what I perceive mostly to myself and my husband. I was told when I was quite young by a Pastor, who recognized I have this gift, that I would have a hard time using it in the church. He was so right. I find that most church leaders want Sunday school teachers and chair-stackers. Not those gifted with discernment, wisdom and knowledge and certainly not prophecy.
This video is over a year old. I’ve been struggling with knowing if I have these gifts or if I have delusions of grandeur. The adversary wouldn’t want me to have these gifts. Thank you for that message. I am call so deeply, not a day goes by that I don’t spend a great deal of time contemplating my calling and asking G-d (I remove a letter out of respect for some of our brethren that find it disrespectful to use His name outside of necessity and prayer) to please show me the way Lord. I really don’t want free will. I want to do what He made me to do. I need to be serving the Lord. I appreciate this video. I would like to know how to best apply any gifts that I may have. I would like to know for sure from someone who knows, if I have these gifts or if I am crazy. I don’t go to a church. I travel a lot and I’m an introvert. Things are really scary right now in the world and I’ve been asking for an indisputable next step, because I don’t want to be making this up in my head. This video came into my feed. I haven’t been looking at videos of these gifts. I really try to stay away from outside influences when it comes to these subjects. I reach for G-d everyday. If I do have these gifts , what do I do next ? I have considered joining a monastery. My flesh doesn’t think that’s the direction. Any advice? -

I was in a situation with a narcissist whom will never tell the truth and I wanted to know some things so bad in order to make proper decisions. I prayed to God for the power of discernment and he gave me way more than I actually wanted. I suddenly saw everything that happened in the past 15 years. Small things that I questionned at the time and let go suddenly became clear 100% as far as what that incident really was. I really just wanted to know about the past 2-3 years and the power of what he gave me was almost more than I could handle but it saved my life. This was not a one time thing. This discernment has continued throughout our break up and I don't know what I would do without it. Pray people! It's the only thing that works but come to him with a heart that is true and ready to commit to him. The rewards are great.

I’ve always felt like whatever church I went to, whoever was speaking, whatever music is playing my Jesus is the same everywhere and I will hear his vice where ever I go, he will give me joy and satisfaction everywhere and I pray that he will let me feel him and learn what he wants me to learn.
I have often been around people who don’t want to go to a church because they don’t like the music or speaker and I think what are they wanting here ? I just want Jesus to speak to me everywhere and I am open to it lord I am open to it in Jesus mighty name

Yes. I have had it for years. But, did know how to use it. And at times when I tried to warn people, they would not listen. When someone is evil, I can feel it. I once seen the walking dead. I knew the person. But, it was plain as day. I once seen the back of a spirit or Angel standing over a dieing person, and I heard pray for the passing. And I did. Yes, I have this gift. It's not always a blessing.
I was given the gift of discernment when I receive the gift of tongues. I prayed for the gift of tongue and God bless me with both. I call this gift the gift of feeling. It only happens when the Holy Spirit decides, which is almost all the time. Why I call it the gift of feelings is because I can feel what or how people are feeling. I can tell what is going on in their minds by their feelings. I also can feel what God feels when God shows me, but this is mostly through dreams and visions. Many times, God tells me.
Mostly, God want His people to love one another and stop being lovers of themselves. Love God, love people, not as you want, but as God asked you to. Die, do away with, to self centeredness and selfishness. Read you Holy Bibles, pray and worship God. Serve Jesus Christ, make Him your LORD.
