I'm 14 years old and have the gift of discernment... I understand things at higher rates than others and my level information is high... my dad who is literally gifted in God told me I have this gift, as well as my mom.. thank God. But it is not for my advantage, it is for God and His Glory. Everything I have is for God, not for me. My life is only to serve Him.

My Pastor told me years ago that he had never met anyone with the gift of Discernment like me. It’s not a pleasant gift to have though. You know a person’s flesh nature in about 5 or 10 minutes. However, you have to remind yourself of their gifts to mankind too. You are always trying to find a balance between the two otherwise you feel guilty of judging others. You see the souls of many turned rotten, and you see the demons tempting them, and you hear the people praise the demons and celebrate them even. These are all metaphoric indont litterally see demons or souls lol, but felt like I should add that as some people are dillusional, I myself question myself often 😂 pocessing knowledge of human physcology.
I have the gift of discernment. Before I was a Christ follower I was called an empath. I feel what others are feeling. I know the problem right away. People don't like that. Now empaths are called Highly Sensitive People. I prefer that I have been blessed with discernment and Discernment of Spirits. This solidified this all to me.
I had that growing up too. It's super easily exploited by the demon oppressed/possessed. My dad fell from the faith and suddenly developed narcissistic personality disorder, something he never had growing up, and for 9 years i was his target. There were a lot of things that he did and his girlfriend and her kids did, as well as spirits I saw and fought that convinced me something was wrong. I wasn't the only one who could see it either. I don't live with him anymore, but I have been at such peace by being away from him. When I walk in his house or if he's nearby I can almost feel it. He used it to hurt me and make me doubt my reality but it's getting easier to discern between the physical and spiritual
I’m in literal tears. I never knew this was a gift. I always thought there was something wrong with me. Why couldn’t people see what I see? I remember before I ran to Christ, I would go clubbing and drinking. I now know my gift from God kept repeating one thing in my head while I walked around. I felt like I was in slow motion. I kept hearing “turn on the lights, take away the drinks, what do you see?” Over and over again. I knew that all those who were there were in pain, and they wanted to get away from it. I can tell within minutes if someone is trust worthy with it not. Sometimes even in seconds. I can pin point the good, the bad, and what people are doing wrong in situations. I always thought I loved psychology because I wanted to understand people. But that’s not true. I love psychology because God gave me the gift of understanding people. The first day I met my husband I knew I loved him. I knew he was honest with me. I knew he wasn’t lying to me. There is no one I trust more than him.
The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. God Blessed You with a gift. Use it wisely for HIS glory.

When you were speaking of your husband you said that you trust him more than anyone else. I know you are expressing your love for him, and that is a beautiful thing, but in saying that you are saying that you trust him more than God or Jesus. And I know that that is not what you meant, and I know that you would never try to express that as being a truth. I have this gift of discernment… I never knew it was called discernment until the past few years. I use to call it a curse, because I see right through people and things. But it’s also a blessing at the same time♥️ The Lord is definitely sharpening this gift. As He heals my heart and delivers me daily, I am learning how to discern correctly. I had this gift my whoole life this gift is powerful what I do when I pray for someone I ask holly spirit show me what spirit of operating in that person I’m praying and by being next to that person I sense that spirit in her so start to pray for that person for deliverance or direct them where to go to get prayed for deliverance if you don’t do deliverance
I wish for this gift, as I am so unaware of others intention, either for good or bad. I usually avoid addressing the issue, or not knowing if there is one. I have to say the snake has to bite me before I notice anything is wrong. This has been a problem for me all my life.

The one thing I was missing all of these years was love. If we anchor our gifts in God's love, you can't go wrong. God has helped me to forgive people, look on them with compassion and empathy while also maintaining the courage He gives me without it becoming callous and mean. He's still working on me but everything is better with His love and patience.
Same here. God’s love is key. I pray for his mind, heart, and mouth and for the Holy Spirit to lead me in everything. Discernment will have you being judgmental without it and He is the only judge.

If I may share my own experience... as stated, LOVE was the missing ingredient, or rather, a correct understanding of GOD'S LOVE for ME, and once I began to grasp His sacrificial love, and realize what *I* had called 'love' was just trauma and selfishness in disguise, and I really took stock of all the harm I had left in my wake, I realized everyone who'd done me 'wrong' had either taught me something, or revealed something similar within myself, even the really painful heartbreaks were full of wisdom, if I would but seek it, instead of run from the pain and blame others, I was freed from the majority of my unforgiveness. The key to forgiveness, for me, was reframing the offense into GAIN, and realizing how damaged someone else must be to behave the way they did, because I was so messed up and dead inside, and hated myself for all the things I was doing, but couldn't seem to help myself... my mind was broken. My perspective so far askew... I was looking out for ME because no one else was. But God was. Anyway, I'm rambling. There's a book called "The Bait of Satan" written by John Bevere that really helped me gain deeper discernment in my own (and others') unforgiveness. I highly recommend it. God Bless! 🙏
I have this gift. Once I met this person this year. When she came near me I instantly knew she was evil. Her energy was just dark and evil. It was so bad and unpleasant, and I could feel it in my heart that it was so tangible and what do you know this person is evil I feel like I have the gift of discernment, but I need to learn how to use it and listen to God when he gives me these signs.

I have that gift. The Holy Spirit speaks to me. He whispers instructions. Especially discernment of spirits. I live in this world but I am not from this world. I live in Christ and He lives in me. The Holy Spirit strengthens me to withstands the world. I am hated for my love of Christ but He reminds me that the world first hated Him. I love you Jesus my Lord and Savior.

I have the gift of discernment. When I was younger, I was naive and didn't really see the 'bad' in others. However, through several traumatic experiences, and lots of reading and formal study I learnt all about immature and secular personalities, the personality disordered, and recalcitrant egos... The Holy Spirit gifted me with discernment by viewing psychology in a spiritual perspective. I can now readily sense 'wrong' spirits anywhere, but, mostly I wisely wait for some words or attitude from them before I confirm. It's an important gift to tell right from wrong because the truth is vitally important - because "the truth will set us free..." John 8:32 - Amen 🙏💖👑➕️🙏👏

I was in a situation with a narcissist whom will never tell the truth and I wanted to know some things so bad in order to make proper decisions. I prayed to God for the power of discernment and he gave me way more than I actually wanted. I suddenly saw everything that happened in the past 15 years. Small things that I questionned at the time and let go suddenly became clear 100% as far as what that incident really was. I really just wanted to know about the past 2-3 years and the power of what he gave me was almost more than I could handle but it saved my life. This was not a one time thing. This discernment has continued throughout our break up and I don't know what I would do without it. Pray people! It's the only thing that works but come to him with a heart that is true and ready to commit to him. The rewards are great.
Yes the Lord has given me this gift. This gift hurts my heart because I see & understand why people are doing the things they are doing & why. But I'm having trouble knowing when to share this knowledge & when to just keep my mouth shut. I often make others angry simply by speaking the truth

I have the Gift of Discernment - I relate to those saying it’s a “blessing” & a “curse”… I always say that I’m like a walking lie detector. I can feel the words, the non-physical, movements, sounds, etc. I am getting better on the timing on when to speak what I know…timing is always key.
Timing yes!! I recently had Holy Spirit guide and teach me, and I said so basically I'm like a lie detector/scanner. I've come to understand this is why some people are uncomfortable around me, or right off they feel bare and makes them feel vulnerable and that makes their darkness upset as well. They think oh no I'm found out, I may have to go.

I have always believed I'm a discerner of truth. I know when I hear it and I know when I'm deceived, manipulated or agendas. It can also be a curse because I feel pain of suffering of others. I cannot walk through a hospital without feeling suffering and pain of everyone and it's overwhelming.
Yes, I’m a nurse and I can see when a person have internal struggles. I pray with them. People open up to me very easily. I didn’t understand why until I several years ago.
I have the gift of discernment, I am also an introvert. Not sure if it's related but I think it is because I can "see" people within a few minutes of meeting them or sometimes just people I'm around and never spoke to them. My "feeling" are always spot on and are revealed sometimes immediately and sometimes weeks, months even years later. I've warned my husband about friends he's had for years that I've just met and I get a feeling that doesn't sit right with me or they are a good person. I guess that's why I stay to myself a lot and don't have many friends because its's draining. When I try to explain it people just think I'm stuck up or being judgmental.

I believe that I’ve always had this gift. I remember even as a child when other kids were excited for something and I never felt that it sat right within me. I’ve carried this always. Even when I wasn’t with Christ. I’ve never been prone to falling into group excitement or hysteria. I’m always standing alone. Well, now I stand with my husband. That was God’s second gift to me- the discernment and someone to share it with.
I understand completely. Maybe the gift of discernment causes us to stand alone, as I have as well. I always felt like the proverbial square peg trying to fit in the round hole. I used to joke and say I'm the fish swimming upstream when all the rest of the fish are swimming downstream. I am thankful G-d moved me to where He did. I knew before my son took his life that a tragedy was going to happen in our family and I couldn't stop it everyday that feeling grew stronger. Two days before my ex died I had a dream that our son called and told me he died.in the dream I had no feelings at all about hearing of his death. I knew a close family member was going to betray me but in the end it was a blessing in disguise. She meant it for evil God turned it into a blessing in my life.praise God he does take care of his children and protects them from harm.
It truly is a gift from God. It happens in many ways for me. A feeling when I see in their eyes, body language and in just the tone of their voice. There are times when my hairs stand on end. I attempt to warm people I care about but most of the time, they dismiss me and they think I'm a little dilusional which i know where it comes from. Some, just don't see the warnings. 😢
I saw Satan in my stepdad not during our conversation but after I prayed I now see it and can’t unsee it. Litterally like the fruit was that of Satan I’m sure. These creatures are everywhere. God allowed me to see a demon attached to me, it was the most horrific thing you can imagine. But now I’m filled with god and I want to see more to save people, I want it as a profession of god.
On my 18th birthday Jesus Christ became very real to me and showed me He was still healing today. Before meeting Jesus I was very fearful of people but He filled me with such compassion for them that I began praying for anyone He led me to. I am now 64 years old and my heart is burning with passion to see His Kingdom on Earth, that everyone would see Jesus for who He really is and the great love of the Father. Can you please pray for my son David Mirle Perez, 33 yrs old, homeless drug addict. His health is so bad Drs told him his close to get a leg amputated. He doesn't want help. I can see & sense spirits, I can see peoples true intentions, sense presence and things years before they even happen, I can smell things in the Spirit, hear things in the Spirit, discern and hear thoughts. I have this gift, it can be troublesome at times as well as overwhelming. I can tell what others feel, their state of mind, their good and bad, all i need is about just 5 minutes with you and i can tell a lot about you. The gift is wonderful but I take so much in that I cant handle everyday. I pray God shows me how best to use this gift.
I have the gift of discernment and had for years. I can feel even the atmosphere or the way a place feels as soon as I come in and tell where is coming from. My body gets really different and get alerted and I start seeing or focusing on the problem or the issue or the situation and can't stop looking and get a feeling of complete rejection of it. I have had pastors and leaders and members confirm to me I have the gift of discernment of spirits. I have a deep desire for the truth and healing of others. 4:54 I remember learning how to simply pray to our creator and the scripture stated: Psalm119:66 so I would ask for this because I felt this intuition inside of me that something was questionable but weren’t allowed to ask outright or else. My life has been very difficult but my love for true knowledge was greater and I believe that is why I was given the privilege of discernment because GOD knew my heart. When I finally had enough courage to speak up I was ostracized, shunned and became a complete outcast so I never went back . And when I began to study it biblically and Began to learn about spiritual warfare... I wasn't prepared for the enemy... I lost everything when my husband told me... "There's no room for God's work in this house"... I chose God... hoping and praying that GOD would speak to my husband's heart... He divorced me... It broke my heart and crushed my spirit... I became "dormant"... So to speak... And quietly studied and researched this gift for 13 years... I turned 50yrs old and decided that I wasn't going to be a scapegoat anymore... Please pray for me...

God got you out of that situation. There was not going to be peace. I am going through a divorce right now. My husband was I Narcissist. At first, I couldn't believe a person could be so evil. I nearly lost myself trying to please him he was always mad. He would turn in a nice person sometimes. But it was like walking on eggshells. I'm glad God got me out of that situation. He threatened to hurt himself and other people, so I wouldn't leave him. I would have lost myself through a toxic marriage. Now, since I've been gone, I had to release the pain within myself and my ex-husband.
@@Oceanlady-b2z I completely understand. My dad is a narcissist, I continue to be a scapegoat even though I'm in my late '60s now. I put a stop to it. He did the same to my late mom. Unfortunately, I was also married to a narcissist. You have to be really careful because certain occupations attract narcissists. One of them is clergy. You can really tell if you ask a question about scripture, or you don't agree with something they say. Watch the reaction. It's just like what your husband did. If a minister or a priest gets upset about a question, or speaks to you in a way where it is disrespectful that you would question their authority, run!
I did. I recognize everything he has said. I didn't know that there are a few dots that were supposed to be connected. A lot of the comments that I have read so far, I can relate to. Because I didn't recognize the dots to connect I get really frustrated with myself. My experience is having a conversation that goes off in my head with the person that I just had an encounter with. Then I think to myself, why didn't I say all that to the person that could have benefitted from it. And again, should I go back and say what I was thinking? Then I just dismiss it. To me, this would be one of the many disconnected dots. I understand everyone's comments. I can tell when something just isn't setting right. I beat my chest with the side of my fist and then wait for the clarity of what I'm sensing that is not up to par. Nonetheless, I keep trusting in God, because I know that He is the author and finisher of my faith. Keep being blessed to bless.
I have it. It's a huge responsibility, it can be lonely, but I feel grateful that the Lord gave me this gift. Constant learning. Growth. My favorite thing about this gift has been educating people who are scared of things like evil spirits, demons, or people who dabble in whichcraft, that these things have absolutely ZERO POWER! The only power they have, is the power we give them! Do not to be scared of these things in anyway! Fear helps them to gain strength, your fear in them, gives them the power they need to come to life. Jesus took that power away from all of those things in the desert. So don't give it back.

The gift of discernment can be granted to someone who has never read a word from any translation of any Bible. Discernment everyone should practice and read their Bible to learn how. Not all will be granted this gift of the holy Spirit.
However we have to get discernment, we better get it. We live in an evil world where the enemy works so subtle. Somethings yuh think is of God but it is of the devil. Alot of things seems so real until you check the levels and the roots it makes you wonder, so it's best to be safe than sorry.

I feel a little expressive today so I'm going to share and Go to give my reason WHY I don't give to online ministries. Because I'm part of a community that is full of the needy and hungry and All of my giving goes to them. I give to the one's I have emediate contact with and I give when I'm approached for spare change. I don't drive a car, I ride buses so I have a lot of contact with the needy people of my community sometimes I wish I had the financial support that you online ministries have. I am part of the poor ministers who do not have financial support from anybody except God and give everything we have to the one's who really need it. God bless you.
When you have the gift of discernment not everyone will receive it and you may doubt it. I still use it to recognize good people and pay it forward when I can. I plan to use it to help my kids especially when they get older. Hopefully they will consider my wisdom. 🤞🏽
This is so me!! I know I’ve been gifted discernment because I’ve been doing it since I was a little girl! I used to tell my mom when we would go to certain places that I wasn’t gonna go into that building because there was devils in there. That’s the only way I knew how to explain it. But thanks to you I am now aware of my gift and how to use it. I’ve learned that if I close my eyes and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide me, he will not only show me a vision, but he will also talk to me. It’s amazing walking in the word!

I’ve had this gift in a major way since I was saved at age 9. It can make people not like you. I have always been able to tell what type of person I’m meeting. Once I stood in a grocery store line behind a man who disturbed my spirit so much I switched lines and went over a couple. Two days later I saw this man on the TV, having killed his whole family and himself. I was young and didn’t talk to the man, but to this day I wish I had testified to him about the power of Christ to change lives. Thank you.
I have the gift , I just ended up falling asleep to the truth and allowing deception so bad to a point where I was being indoctrinated by demons .. I just renounced occult and the new age and gave my life back to God! Thank you for confirming this God given gift in me because I had prayed and desired it before and many times I had told people close to me what I knew through the Spirit. Only later they acknowledged that it was true. But I don't have the boldness at times not wanting to be misunderstood. I need to pray for wisdom to speak the truth in love

As I’ve been working with GOD’a discernment, I’ve been reflecting on work experiences. I have a coworker who says she knows everything and how it’s all going to turn out and it’s to put down when people fail and point out their mistakes. I am hesitant telling her important work matters at times because of how self righteous she is and embellishes how she’d never make those mistakes. When I try to relate that an individual may be struggling or lost and how I wish better for them, she’ll say “oh I don’t feel sorry for them… they do it to themselves…” makes having a manager at work be this way sometimes. I’ve been praying she heals and find a kinder heart. We shouldn’t judge. She even denied to me that gossip is a sin when I didn’t want to gossip because it’s sinful.
Don't give up - I am sure (as long as the desire is there), God will help you to find a way to get through to her. Just be an example to her through love and understanding. I know from experience, that people like her, have a very unhappy life when not in public, so as long as you can keep the smile, the laughter, the forgiving heart - yes - eventually - she may very well come around, and it is then that God will definitely create an opportunity for you to show her a better way...
This gift is in my family. My mother, son, my cousins and I all have this gift. I see things in people before others can even see it. I felt bad about this gift because I felt like I was judging and didn't want to be around that person once I discerned who they were. I have now come to love this gift. It helps me to be aware of certain people.

I retired from working in the county. I interviewed many through the years and could discern. Those who were frustrated and struggling would yell, scream at first. I would listen then tell them it’s going to be ok and gave the best outcome for their needs. Before they would leave, they would say “I’m sorry for yelling “ and leave smiling. All for God’s glory.
Yes I even have dreams and sometimes they come to pass. I can see people in my dream never seen them before but in time end up seeing them , I can walk into a room feel good from evil , I can even smell when bad is around the list goes on. I pray alot for others and the Lord shows me certain things that I don't like what I see it breaks my heart but I've came to understand it is my purpose. He shows me certain things to help others.
I agree with others it’s a gift He has given me! I was in a Church as a young Christian and they were teaching a false doctrine about prosperity.. hissing and howling. God was showing me the error and danger. One of the most difficult times of my Christian walk. I walked away and the Church dived and failed. Broke my heart especially for the new Christians. God used this time to reveal this gift to me through this. I praise Him for this even in the pain! I now pray and search His Word as a confirmation.

Oh my goodness Same here! I had no idea it was a gift! I thought maybe I was just smart 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I’m ashamed that I didn’t realize it was a biblical gift! I could usually tell within minutes of meeting someone if they are someone to be trusted or not. Also, what they’re feeling about me and how they judge others. It’s very hard to explain. I’m not perfect but I can “read” others without much information. We need to ask our lord and savior how it can useful for him! 😊
I have had these gifts since I was very young (gave my life to the LORD at a very young age) I can see and feel everything even when I just hear a name mentioned on the phone! I have been told I was crazy and judgmental, over reacting. UNTIL everything I said comes true. I am not much of a talker.

I think it’s most important to mention that the gift of discernment itself isn’t necessarily given first. He first gives you the gift of knowledge and this gift compels you to study his law and Word day and night. He then gives the gift of wisdom and this is to utilize His knowledge properly. And then he will give the gift of discernment.
Sorry, but I have to disagree about the discernment, as a small child-- under the age of 1 years old, I talked to GOD daily. I literally just can't ever remember not talking to my FATHER, my LORD, JESUS CHRIST & THE HOLY SPIRIT ❣️ I have a really hard time trying to understand how/why no one has had the same relationship with our Father in Heavenly !! For me it's just natural and I don't know anything different. It took me a long time to realize that not everyone had the same relationship with the LORD 🙏❣️ So, I have had to patiently 🙏 Pray for my brethren to be enlightened with the LORD 's truth & be saved !! This is a very short "version", but my Prayers are consistent for all to be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ 💕🙏❣️ May The LORD watch over you and protect you, bless you and give you Peace 🕊️ 💕🙏❣️ Yes, I found out that I am Jewish. Family secrets always make their selves known eventually. I was thrilled to find it out, but it may not be a good idea to let everyone know. I have the spirit of discernment. I can discern spirit things and I can tell most whether a person I'd lying or telling the truth. Also I can read people's minds and know what their intents are. Praise the the Lord for this wonderful gift. I have been able to distinguished between true and fake prophets.
I’m not sure if this is called discernment but I think it is, and that is that I can feel the feelings of other people and sometimes tell what they’re thinking to a degree. I’ve also always had premonitions in the form of dreams, many times things happening exactly as I saw them in my dream and I’ve shared these with family and they’ve seen them come to pass as well. I know when someone is lying and especially if they’re angry or depressed. It’s definitely been a blessing but it used to be painful for me because I’d be picking up the feelings of others so strongly that they would become my own, I couldn’t separate myself. I can now for the most part. I had an extremely strong feeling of something bad coming in the months before Covid and for months now I’ve been having that same feeling of impending doom but waaaaay worse. I KNOW that things are going to go sideways on many different fronts very shortly.
I’ve also been feeling that something strong is coming. I told a sister at church before the Covid came a couple of years before that I felt that we were going to go brought something terrible. Like a huge “ roller coaster ride.”

As soon as he entered my body began to react ..I had this anxious feeling.... Just to confirm this that I wasn't imagining thing I went near him and the atmosphere near him was literally so heavy.... It was very sinister so so heavy...my heat wasn't at rest I felt a different kind of presence....i asked about that guy to our youth leader ..and he told me this guy had some mental issues and his family is destroyed..... This gift, as with all of the gifts, has to be rooted in love. Holy Spirit has allowed me to move in this gift, and I saw the demon of anger and false accusation operating on a person, infiltrating the persons’ thoughts by cloaking it’s intentions in this persons own voice and tonation, causing the person to wrongly and falsely conclude these were his own thoughts. Holy Spirit also gave me a Word of Knowledge what the person was (concluding), which was an incorrect assumption. Later on, on another day, this person angrily confronted me with false accusations. I just sat there staring at him lovingly as he ranted. I truly felt love toward him because it was revealed to me through Holy Spirit how truly deceived he was. When he was done ranting, and turned to walk away, I said, Sir, how really sad and miserable it must be for you, to go around thinking people are intentionally out to ‘get you’, when actually they are not, and what is really happening is you’re believing a lie. Blessings on you and your life, sir. Jesus loves you, and so do I.

I understand things at higher rates than others and my level information is high... my dad who is literally gifted in God told me I have this gift, as well as my mom.. thank God. But it is not for my advantage, it is for God and His Glory. Everything I have is for God, not for me. My life is only to serve Him.

My Pastor told me years ago that he had never met anyone with the gift of Discernment like me. It’s not a pleasant gift to have though. You know a person’s flesh nature in about 5 or 10 minutes. You see the souls of many turned rotten, and you see the demons tempting them, and you hear the people praise the demons and celebrate them even. These are all metaphoric indont litterally see demons or souls lol, but felt like I should add that as some people are dillusional, I myself question myself often 😂 pocessing knowledge of human physcology.
I have the gift of discernment. Before I was a Christ follower I was called an empath. I feel what others are feeling. I know the problem right away. People don't like that. Now empaths are called Highly Sensitive People. I prefer that I have been blessed with discernment and Discernment of Spirits. This solidified this all to me.
I had that growing up too. It's super easily exploited by the demon oppressed/possessed. My dad fell from the faith and suddenly developed narcissistic personality disorder, something he never had growing up, and for 9 years i was his target. There were a lot of things that he did and his girlfriend and her kids did, as well as spirits I saw and fought that convinced me something was wrong. I wasn't the only one who could see it either. I don't live with him anymore, but I have been at such peace by being away from him. When I walk in his house or if he's nearby I can almost feel it. He used it to hurt me and make me doubt my reality but it's getting easier to discern between the physical and spiritual

I’m in literal tears. I never knew this was a gift. I always thought there was something wrong with me. Why couldn’t people see what I see? I remember before I ran to Christ, I would go clubbing and drinking. I now know my gift from God kept repeating one thing in my head while I walked around. I felt like I was in slow motion. I kept hearing “turn on the lights, take away the drinks, what do you see?” Over and over again. I knew that all those who were there were in pain, and they wanted to get away from it. I can tell within minutes if someone is trust worthy with it not. Sometimes even in seconds. I can pin point the good, the bad, and what people are doing wrong in situations. I always thought I loved psychology because I wanted to understand people. But that’s not true. I love psychology because God gave me the gift of understanding people. The first day I met my husband I knew I loved him. I knew he was honest with me. I knew he wasn’t lying to me. There is no one I trust more than him.

When you were speaking of your husband you said that you trust him more than anyone else. I know you are expressing your love for him, and that is a beautiful thing, but in saying that you are saying that you trust him more than God or Jesus. I have this gift of discernment… I never knew it was called discernment until the past few years. I use to call it a curse, because I see right through people and things. But it’s also a blessing at the same time♥️ The Lord is definitely sharpening this gift. As He heals my heart and delivers me daily, I am learning how to discern correctly. The way God called me to do it❤️ I put my life and trust and everything I have in His hands! Use me Lord! Let me be all that You created me for! In Jesus name, Amen!!
I had this gift my whoole life this gift is powerful what I do when I pray for someone I ask holly spirit show me what spirit of operating in that person I’m praying and by being next to that person I sense that spirit in her so start to pray for that person for deliverance or direct them where to go to get prayed for deliverance if you don’t do deliverance

The one thing I was missing all of these years was love. If we anchor our gifts in God's love, you can't go wrong. God has helped me to forgive people, look on them with compassion and empathy while also maintaining the courage He gives me without it becoming callous and mean. He's still working on me but everything is better with His love and patience.

If I may share my own experience... as stated, LOVE was the missing ingredient, or rather, a correct understanding of GOD'S LOVE for ME, and once I began to grasp His sacrificial love, and realize what *I* had called 'love' was just trauma and selfishness in disguise, and I really took stock of all the harm I had left in my wake, I realized everyone who'd done me 'wrong' had either taught me something, or revealed something similar within myself, even the really painful heartbreaks were full of wisdom, if I would but seek it, instead of run from the pain and blame others, I was freed from the majority of my unforgiveness. The key to forgiveness, for me, was reframing the offense into GAIN, and realizing how damaged someone else must be to behave the way they did, because I was so messed up and dead inside, and hated myself for all the things I was doing, but couldn't seem to help myself... my mind was broken. My perspective so far askew... I was looking out for ME because no one else was. But God was. Anyway, I'm rambling.
There's a book called "The Bait of Satan" written by John Bevere that really helped me gain deeper discernment in my own (and others') unforgiveness. I highly recommend it. God Bless! 🙏
I have this gift. Once I met this person this year. When she came near me I instantly knew she was evil. Her energy was just dark and evil. It was so bad and unpleasant, and I could feel it in my heart that it was so tangible and what do you know this person is evil I feel like I have the gift of discernment, but I need to learn how to use it and listen to God when he gives me these signs.
I felt the same way so far I describe it as hellish like this one woman I would go over her house and I felt there was no love no peace forgiveness or gentleness basically the opposite of god what i imagine hell to be
I have that gift. The Holy Spirit speaks to me. He whispers instructions. Especially discernment of spirits. I live in this world but I am not from this world. I live in Christ and He lives in me. The Holy Spirit strengthens me to withstands the world. I am hated for my love of Christ but He reminds me that the world first hated Him. I love you Jesus my Lord and Savior.

The Holy Spirit gifted me with discernment by viewing psychology in a spiritual perspective. I can now readily sense 'wrong' spirits anywhere, but, mostly I wisely wait for some words or attitude from them before I confirm. It's an important gift to tell right from wrong because the truth is vitally important - because "the truth will set us free..." John 8:32 - Amen 🙏💖👑➕️🙏👏
What are your views on someone who is Christian like me and i comment on something and they disagree with me and unfollow me over this one disagreement?
I was in a situation with a narcissist whom will never tell the truth and I wanted to know some things so bad in order to make proper decisions. I prayed to God for the power of discernment and he gave me way more than I actually wanted. I suddenly saw everything that happened in the past 15 years. Small things that I questionned at the time and let go suddenly became clear 100% as far as what that incident really was. I really just wanted to know about the past 2-3 years and the power of what he gave me was almost more than I could handle but it saved my life. This was not a one time thing. This discernment has continued throughout our break up and I don't know what I would do without it. Pray people! It's the only thing that works but come to him with a heart that is true and ready to commit to him. The rewards are great.
Yes the Lord has given me this gift. This gift hurts my heart because I see & understand why people are doing the things they are doing & why. But I'm having trouble knowing when to share this knowledge & when to just keep my mouth shut. I often make others angry simply by speaking the truth

I have the Gift of Discernment - I relate to those saying it’s a “blessing” & a “curse”… I always say that I’m like a walking lie detector. I can feel the words, the non-physical, movements, sounds, etc. I am getting better on the timing on when to speak what I know…timing is always key.

Timing yes!! I recently had Holy Spirit guide and teach me, and I said so basically I'm like a lie detector/scanner. I've come to understand this is why some people are uncomfortable around me, or right off they feel bare and makes them feel vulnerable and that makes their darkness upset as well. I have always believed I'm a discerner of truth. I know when I hear it and I know when I'm deceived, manipulated or agendas. It can also be a curse because I feel pain of suffering of others. I cannot walk through a hospital without feeling suffering and pain of everyone and it's overwhelming.
Yes, I’m a nurse and I can see when a person have internal struggles. I pray with them. People open up to me very easily. I didn’t understand why until I several years ago.
I have the gift of discernment, I am also an introvert. Not sure if it's related but I think it is because I can "see" people within a few minutes of meeting them or sometimes just people I'm around and never spoke to them. My "feeling" are always spot on and are revealed sometimes immediately and sometimes weeks, months even years later. I've warned my husband about friends he's had for years that I've just met and I get a feeling that doesn't sit right with me or they are a good person. I guess that's why I stay to myself a lot and don't have many friends because its's draining. When I try to explain it people just think I'm stuck up or being judgmental.

I believe that I’ve always had this gift. I remember even as a child when other kids were excited for something and I never felt that it sat right within me. I’ve carried this always. Even when I wasn’t with Christ. I’ve never been prone to falling into group excitement or hysteria. I’m always standing alone. Well, now I stand with my husband. That was God’s second gift to me- the discernment and someone to share it with.
I understand completely. Maybe the gift of discernment causes us to stand alone, as I have as well. I always felt like the proverbial square peg trying to fit in the round hole. I used to joke and say I'm the fish swimming upstream when all the rest of the fish are swimming downstream. I am thankful G-d moved me to where He did. It took many years, but I have been in the right place now for 15+ years. I am now 70 yrs old. praising Him constantly!

I knew before my son took his life that a tragedy was going to happen in our family and I couldn't stop it everyday that feeling grew stronger. Two days before my ex died I had a dream that our son called and told me he died.in the dream I had no feelings at all about hearing of his death. I knew a close family member was going to betray me but in the end it was a blessing in disguise. She meant it for evil God turned it into a blessing in my life.praise God he does take care of his children and protects them from harm.
It truly is a gift from God. It happens in many ways for me. A feeling when I see in their eyes, body language and in just the tone of their voice. There are times when my hairs stand on end. I attempt to warm people I care about but most of the time, they dismiss me and they think I'm a little dilusional which i know where it comes from. Some, just don't see the warnings. 😢

I saw Satan in my stepdad not during our conversation but after I prayed I now see it and can’t unsee it. Litterally like the fruit was that of Satan I’m sure. These creatures are everywhere. Can you please pray for my son David Mirle Perez, 33 yrs old, homeless drug addict. His health is so bad Drs told him his close to get a leg amputated. He doesn't want help. It's bn so difficult for me and his 4 daughters. I was depressed on medication for a while but made the decision to quit feeling depressed and depend on medication to nomb me. I have this gift, it can be troublesome at times as well as overwhelming. I can tell what others feel, their state of mind, their good and bad, all i need is about just 5 minutes with you and i can tell a lot about you. The gift is wonderful but I take so much in that I cant handle everyday. I pray God shows me how best to use this gift.

4:54 I remember learning how to simply pray to our creator and the scripture stated: Psalm119:66 so I would ask for this because I felt this intuition inside of me that something was questionable but weren’t allowed to ask outright or else. God got you out of that situation. There was not going to be peace. I am going through a divorce right now. My husband was I Narcissist. At first, I couldn't believe a person could be so evil. I nearly lost myself trying to please him he was always mad. He would turn in a nice person sometimes. But it was like walking on eggshells. I'm glad God got me out of that situation. He threatened to hurt himself and other people, so I wouldn't leave him. I would have lost myself through a toxic marriage. Now, since I've been gone, I had to release the pain within myself and my ex-husband.
@@Oceanlady-b2z I completely understand. My dad is a narcissist, I continue to be a scapegoat even though I'm in my late '60s now. I put a stop to it. He did the same to my late mom. Unfortunately, I was also married to a narcissist. You have to be really careful because certain occupations attract narcissists. One of them is clergy. You can really tell if you ask a question about scripture, or you don't agree with something they say. Watch the reaction. It's just like what your husband did. If a minister or a priest gets upset about a question, or speaks to you in a way where it is disrespectful that you would question their authority, run!

I did. I recognize everything he has said. I didn't know that there are a few dots that were supposed to be connected. A lot of the comments that I have read so far, I can relate to.
Because I didn't recognize the dots to connect I get really frustrated with myself. My experience is having a conversation that goes off in my head with the person that I just had an encounter with. Then I think to myself, why didn't I say all that to the person that could have benefitted from it. And again, should I go back and say what I was thinking? Then I just dismiss it. To me, this would be one of the many disconnected dots.
I understand everyone's comments. I can tell when something just isn't setting right. I beat my chest with the side of my fist and then wait for the clarity of what I'm sensing that is not up to par.
Nonetheless, I keep trusting in God, because I know that He is the author and finisher of my faith.

I have it. It's a huge responsibility, it can be lonely, but I feel grateful that the Lord gave me this gift. Constant learning. Growth. My favorite thing about this gift has been educating people who are scared of things like evil spirits, demons, or people who dabble in whichcraft, that these things have absolutely ZERO POWER! The only power they have, is the power we give them! Do not to be scared of these things in anyway! Fear helps them to gain strength, your fear in them, gives them the power they need to come to life. Jesus took that power away from all of those things in the desert. So don't give it back.
be careful when advising people these things have power it comes from Satan. Satan has power which he manifests through wicked men by tempting devils. The truly Holy Ghost baptised (not the nonsence tongue talking) blood bought children of God are the only ones who are protected and can discern. Pastors today are so caught up with themselves they are organising God out of the worship building.

The gift of discernment can be granted to someone who has never read a word from any translation of any Bible. Discernment everyone should practice and read their Bible to learn how. Not all will be granted this gift of the holy Spirit.
However we have to get discernment, we better get it. We live in an evil world where the enemy works so subtle. Somethings yuh think is of God but it is of the devil. Alot of things seems so real until you check the levels and the roots it makes you wonder, so it's best to be safe than sorry.

Because I'm part of a community that is full of the needy and hungry and All of my giving goes to them. I give to the one's I have emediate contact with and I give when I'm approached for spare change. I don't drive a car, I ride buses so I have a lot of contact with the needy people of my community sometimes I wish I had the financial support that you online ministries have. When you have the gift of discernment not everyone will receive it and you may doubt it. I still use it to recognize good people and pay it forward when I can. I plan to use it to help my kids especially when they get older. Hopefully they will consider my wisdom. 🤞🏽
This is so me!! I know I’ve been gifted discernment because I’ve been doing it since I was a little girl! I used to tell my mom when we would go to certain places that I wasn’t gonna go into that building because there was devils in there. That’s the only way I knew how to explain it.
But thanks to you I am now aware of my gift and how to use it. I’ve learned that if I close my eyes and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide me, he will not only show me a vision, but he will also talk to me. It’s amazing walking in the word!

I’ve had this gift in a major way since I was saved at age 9. It can make people not like you. I have always been able to tell what type of person I’m meeting. Once I stood in a grocery store line behind a man who disturbed my spirit so much I switched lines and went over a couple. Two days later I saw this man on the TV, having killed his whole family and himself. I was young and didn’t talk to the man, but to this day I wish I had testified to him about the power of Christ to change lives. Thank you.
I have the gift , I just ended up falling asleep to the truth and allowing deception so bad to a point where I was being indoctrinated by demons .. I just renounced occult and the new age and gave my life back to God! Thank you for confirming this God given gift in me because I had prayed and desired it before and many times I had told people close to me what I knew through the Spirit. Only later they acknowledged that it was true. But I don't have the boldness at times not wanting to be misunderstood. I need to pray for wisdom to speak the truth in love

1. You are free of jealousy and bitterness i.e you don't speak only negative (Hebrews 12:15)

That's me. 69. Disabled and no help and I would have it no other way as it is the will of the Lord. I do all I can on my small channel and the Lord has been faithful to me as I surrender and lean on his every word. Holy Spirit confort's. The joy of the Lord gives me strength! I have the gift of discernment and it has help me to be more alert of what goes on around me and how to know Godly things from Evil things.
As I’ve been working with GOD’a discernment, I’ve been reflecting on work experiences. I have a coworker who says she knows everything and how it’s all going to turn out and it’s to put down when people fail and point out their mistakes. I am hesitant telling her important work matters at times because of how self righteous she is and embellishes how she’d never make those mistakes. When I try to relate that an individual may be struggling or lost and how I wish better for them, she’ll say “oh I don’t feel sorry for them… they do it to themselves…” makes having a manager at work be this way sometimes. I’ve been praying she heals and find a kinder heart. We shouldn’t judge. She even denied to me that gossip is a sin when I didn’t want to gossip because it’s sinful.
Don't give up - I am sure (as long as the desire is there), God will help you to find a way to get through to her. Just be an example to her through love and understanding. I know from experience, that people like her, have a very unhappy life when not in public, so as long as you can keep the smile, the laughter, the forgiving heart - yes - eventually - she may very well come around, and it is then that God will definitely create an opportunity for you to show her a better way...
This gift is in my family. My mother, son, my cousins and I all have this gift. I see things in people before others can even see it. I felt bad about this gift because I felt like I was judging and didn't want to be around that person once I discerned who they were. I have now come to love this gift. It helps me to be aware of certain people.

My family didn't always appreciate my seeing anger or deception when I saw or heard it.I was told I muust "be crazy" I have never been crazy.I have always see what others rarely see.It's "the emperor's new Clothes.

The Lord has used me to cast out demonds. Lord uses me to deliver messages. This is all done by the grace of God . I am just doing what the ask me to do.

I retired from working in the county. I interviewed many through the years and could discern. Those who were frustrated and struggling would yell, scream at first. I would listen then tell them it’s going to be ok and gave the best outcome for their needs. Before they would leave, they would say “I’m sorry for yelling “ and leave smiling. All for God’s glory.
Yes I even have dreams and sometimes they come to pass. I can see people in my dream never seen them before but in time end up seeing them , I can walk into a room feel good from evil , I can even smell when bad is around the list goes on.
I pray alot for others and the Lord shows me certain things that I don't like what I see it breaks my heart but I've came to understand it is my purpose. He shows me certain things to help others.

I agree with others it’s a gift He has given me! I was in a Church as a young Christian and they were teaching a false doctrine about prosperity.. hissing and howling. God was showing me the error and danger. One of the most difficult times of my Christian walk. I walked away and the Church dived and failed. Broke my heart especially for the new Christians. God used this time to reveal this gift to me through this. I praise Him for this even in the pain! I now pray and search His Word as a confirmation.

Oh my goodness Same here! I had no idea it was a gift! I thought maybe I was just smart 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I’m ashamed that I didn’t realize it was a biblical gift! I could usually tell within minutes of meeting someone if they are someone to be trusted or not. Also, what they’re feeling about me and how they judge others. It’s very hard to explain. I’m not perfect but I can “read” others without much information. We need to ask our lord and savior how it can useful for him! 😊
I have had these gifts since I was very young (gave my life to the LORD at a very young age) I can see and feel everything even when I just hear a name mentioned on the phone! I have been told I was crazy and judgmental, over reacting. UNTIL everything I said comes true. I am not much of a talker.
I can see when people are fake, lying and know things about them that I couldn’t possibly know! My brother used to tell his friends don’t lie to her, she will know.

I think it’s most important to mention that the gift of discernment itself isn’t necessarily given first. He first gives you the gift of knowledge and this gift compels you to study his law and Word day and night. He then gives the gift of wisdom and this is to utilize His knowledge properly. And then he will give the gift of discernment.
Sorry, but I have to disagree about the discernment, as a small child-- under the age of 1 years old, I talked to GOD daily. I literally just can't ever remember not talking to my FATHER, my LORD, JESUS CHRIST & THE HOLY SPIRIT ❣️ I have a really hard time trying to understand how/why no one has had the same relationship with our Father in Heavenly !! For me it's just natural and I don't know anything different. It took me a long time to realize that not everyone had the same relationship with the LORD 🙏❣️ So, I have had to patiently 🙏 Pray for my brethren to be enlightened with the LORD 's truth & be saved !! This is a very short "version", but my Prayers are consistent for all to be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ 💕🙏❣️ May The LORD watch over you and protect you, bless you and give you Peace 🕊️ 💕🙏❣️ Yes, I found out that I am Jewish. Family secrets always make their selves known eventually. I was thrilled to find it out, but it may not be a good idea to let everyone know. Jewish people have been treated with awful repercussions for a long time. May Our LORD watch over all of us , protect us all and Blow The Trumpet soon 🙏❣️

I have the spirit of discernment. I can discern spirit things and I can tell most whether a person I'd lying or telling the truth. Also I can read people's minds and know what their intents are. Praise the the Lord for this wonderful gift. I have been able to distinguished between true and fake prophets.
You can not read people's minds.. that is not from God ...even the Word says only God knows our thoughts
We should be giving to the homeless the elderly widows and the less fortunate. You will grow if God wants you to continue.
I’m not sure if this is called discernment but I think it is, and that is that I can feel the feelings of other people and sometimes tell what they’re thinking to a degree. I’ve also always had premonitions in the form of dreams, many times things happening exactly as I saw them in my dream and I’ve shared these with family and they’ve seen them come to pass as well. I know when someone is lying and especially if they’re angry or depressed. It’s definitely been a blessing but it used to be painful for me because I’d be picking up the feelings of others so strongly that they would become my own, I couldn’t separate myself. I can now for the most part. I had an extremely strong feeling of something bad coming in the months before Covid and for months now I’ve been having that same feeling of impending doom but waaaaay worse. I KNOW that things are going to go sideways on many different fronts very shortly.

I’ve also been feeling that something strong is coming. I told a sister at church before the Covid came a couple of years before that I felt that we were going to go brought something terrible. Like a huge “ roller coaster ride.”

Having a NDE and meeting GOD helps to desern his holy essence here on Earth...
but I fervently prayed for desernment and went thru many changes... balance is key to not loosing your mind!
@@jessabrooks- can you tell me what it feels like.... because it has happened to me recently..after the church service was over...I saw a man coming towards our pastor.... As soon as he entered my body began to react ..I had this anxious feeling.... Just to confirm this that I wasn't imagining thing I went near him and the atmosphere near him was literally so heavy.... It was very sinister so so heavy...my heat wasn't at rest I felt a different kind of presence....i asked about that guy to our youth leader ..and he told me this guy had some mental issues and his family is destroyed..... I don't know this is the 1st tym I felt this way...!!! What was this...? A gift of mercy or discernment?
@@jessabrooks- I totally can relate (except the NDE part) after He gifted me discernment, I quickly realized wisdom had to pair with it.

17 And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.
18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
This gift, as with all of the gifts, has to be rooted in love. Holy Spirit has allowed me to move in this gift, and I saw the demon of anger and false accusation operating on a person, infiltrating the persons’ thoughts by cloaking it’s intentions in this persons own voice and tonation, causing the person to wrongly and falsely conclude these were his own thoughts. Holy Spirit also gave me a Word of Knowledge what the person was (concluding), which was an incorrect assumption. Later on, on another day, this person angrily confronted me with false accusations. I just sat there staring at him lovingly as he ranted. I truly felt love toward him because it was revealed to me through Holy Spirit how truly deceived he was. When he was done ranting, and turned to walk away, I said, Sir, how really sad and miserable it must be for you, to go around thinking people are intentionally out to ‘get you’, when actually they are not, and what is really happening is you’re believing a lie. Blessings on you and your life, sir. Jesus loves you, and so do I.
