been doing jiu jitsu for 18 years. Been preaching bodyweight and kettlebells for almost as long and is all i do anymore.
Governments are just baaad, ok? 😂 You made my day! Thank you my friend.
I've been doing kettlebells for 2 weeks, mostly thanks to you, and I already feel stronger.
I’ve been performing the 100 pushups/ 100 swings for about a month and a half now. I feel strong, flexible, and my cardio is improving every day. I added a few sets of kettlebell goblet squats at the end of the workout. At 51, I’m more focused on conditioning than putting on additional size.
The key with kettlebells is heavy compound work with light explosive work that’s the combo and then add calisthenics and boom you have All you need.
Everything you said was spot on. Been following you and others now on going 3 months strong now on KB and body weight. 150-170g protein per day. Cutting beer. My body has already transformed into a better version of myself. It’s amazing how much better I feel now…
Im 20 years older than you but you and im impressed by your knowledge and the way you are explaining wisly evry thing.keep on bro🙏
Bless you, brother. It's one thing to catch a quick clip on IG to get fired up, but another to have these low&slow fireside chats. Very nourishing.
The draw back with body weight and KB is the development of size in your lower body for instance myself I have bad leg genetics I have to squat to get any real results in the my lower body I have been training with KB since 2001 and when I leave the barbell squat there is a noticeable difference but aside from this yes agree KB’s are amazing
You mentioned the US going to war, I've talked a lot about this to many people , more reasons to get our men in the United States training with kettlebells & calisthenics. I'm pretty sure you know the history of kettlebells. If you know as much as you do , the Russians have used them to prepare their own people for war for over 200 years. Great video, BTW
You‘re a big inspiration, i got in the best shape of my life last year with calisthenics but then unfortunately i injured myself (tennis elbow) cause of overtraining. I ordered myself two kettlebells cause of your videos on TikTok & first time since 6 month I can train again without pain in my arm after the training. I’m so grateful God send your videos to me, i’ll follow & support you brother! Cheers from Munich, Germany & much love 🫶
Thank you brother!! This means a lot 🙏🏽 appreciate you letting me know. So glad you’re pain free now my man
@@trevorsinstinct dont mention it 🙏 not total yet, but I can feel that it’s getting better now 💪
@@trevorsinstinctCan you talk about clubs on your next post
I wish I knew about kettlebells a long time ago. You are the hero we don't deserve lol
have you considered uploading your podcast to Spotify? great stuff btw
Thx Brother, for this true words and Tips for a good Solid workout Routine :)
Another great episode. Love the simplicity of your program, Trevor.
Question: For the 100/100 routine, do you rest a day between (and do a different workout the following day) or do it every day?
Thank you, Coach! 🙏🏻
What is the pull up bar in this shot? Looking for one in the garage gym!
You never mentioned why you use clubs and Maces
Trevor, if someone is doing a combination of mobility and progressive (with rings) calisthenics and weighted calisthenics like chinups, dips, lunges for general strength and also doing high repetition bodyweight calisthenics for endurance like pushups, pike pushups, squats and burpees in your experience is there anything not being worked on ? I am thinking it may be posterior chain which may be fixed with kettlebell swings and snatches but not sure if something else is missing and if so by how much to be "well rounded". Always enjoyed your podcasts hope you make more in the future 🙏🙏
So ive seen you do this with one arm push presses, do you alternate between that and push ups?
Awesome video. Ever think about training for skill like planche and lever?
when will you do another "what you eat in a week" episode? Would be nice to get an update. Thanks!
It’ll be my next episode, thanks for the idea 😎🤝🏽
What weight KB shold you start with if you weight around 200 lbs?
Great stuff. Do you do or have you done BJJ?
or Ed Norton in American History X :P
Watched that one live, just before I train 🤣.
I train a very similar style and follow you across various platforms.
Just wondering what goals you yourself have from your own training? Is it performance based? Building more mass ( I think you’re good where your at for the record also you don’t count calories)just curious what’s driving you ?
Keep up the great content 👍
I’ll make this episode 24, thanks for your questions 🙏🏽
Thoughts on dips vs pushups? I just like how deep I can get that chest stretch in the dip
I just do pushups on two kettlebells, allows you to get a much deeper stretch.
What size/weight kettlebell are you using here?
How about more complex workouts?
Unfortunately I don't have a pull bar nor does anywhere around me so idk
Buy one cheap for your doorway
Resistance band rows and pull downs are a good alternative. They’re not as effective as pull ups, but they do provide some good back and bicep stimulation.
@@charlesbradley5757Yeah glad you said this because I did end up buying resistance bands
@@Reuben-WincottI don't want a pull bar indoors my house is very small but I'll definitely get something in the backyard
Bro don't sit between reps, cmon, it's not good for you.
He has free will let him do so
