Greatsword is about 1k lower, using both weapons is about 1k higher. Don't skip Staff though, CC is the real dps meter.
No boon duration is necessary, but doesn't hurt if you have some.
The quickness is tied to a timer of one second which synergizes with Shared Empowerment and pulses Might at the same time. This means Herald has substantial Might output without adjusting any gear.
Always help your group with boons by activating F2. It's +13% boon uptime on all boons already applied, that's crazy.

Would dwarf stance for stab be a huge loss of dps?
Hammers are about 2200 dps if you keep them up all the time, so half that if you use a road. So around 2.5k loss if you use hammers all the time.
Are you still able to achieve 32k average? I can't get past 26k with buffs & debuffs, wondering if its just a personal skill issue.

You most likely have the same issue as 99% of all players…you cant press the buttons fast enough ^^
But dont worry about that - very few people can reach the Benchmarks 😊
A piece of advice if i may…the bench is with sword only to have space for the staff and its cc which is always good!
Regardless in many fights high cc is not mandatory or even necessary
To bring the staff there is a waste of the second weapon swap because you may never switch to it in those fights
You can easily improve your dps a bit if you take greatsword in the second slot instead
Greatsword does comparable dps to double swords - its dps is a bit lower/random on smaller hitboxes while even a bit higher on larger like most raid bosses
I actually have 3 equipment slots - one for greatsword and SwordSword
One for greatsword and staff & lastly SwordSword and Staff
I like GS even more than SwordSword so i only use the last combination if the fight is in its favor and i need the chill & immo for special mechanics (slow ads…) or for smaller hitboxes.
I know in which encounters i need cc so i switch accordingly
The other massive plus point is that the slots are not wasted - power vindicator requires the same loadout so you can use the same logic for dps vindi 😊
@@Cross_111 It may sound stupid, but does lag affect your DPS even if you press buttons fast enough? i usually play with 120-160ms latency and my average dps is 27k, same setup except for 2 exotic gear and no sharpening stone
@@Huarizo of course large lag spikes will impact your dps. Lag is not only you receiving signals later but also the system receiving your inputs slower/delayed.
You may be better off using a low intensity build which does more dps with less buttons
So even if your input is delayed its not so bad for you 🙈
@@Huarizo 2 exo pieces and no sharpening stones are already a couple k DPS loss. I don't think lag plays a huge role here. If you don't have infusions you're already 2% off the bench

He answered that on small hitboxes the dps loss is 1k
On larger hitboxes the dps is greater than sword sword
So essentially you can freely choose of you like sword sword or greatsword 😊
In my opinion the best solution for everyone is now implemented!

This is identical to before SotO, Greatsword died for absolutely nothing.
these videos would be better without music tbh. Hearing the sound effects of skills is important too. When you add some random music I have to mute it and watch it in silence which is weird.

It's a lot easier to learn from the build guide in video description. They have the rotation concept there with details on utility as well.
