Try running some hot water onto the joint before moving it. Once you've broken through the settings, the joints will work fine. Gentle heat from a hair dryer can work wonders on vinyl dolls.. Including popping on heads! The big guy isn't too bad. I bought him to see what he was like. I collect resin BJDs normally, I just wanted to see what the quality of them was like. Once painted, eyes changed, wigged and dressed with boots he looks adorable. For a, cheap doll he's, fun to mess with. Plus, being 60cm he can double up as as a manakin for my resin lads. X
Thanks, I love getting tips. I'll try running hot water over the joints. We are almost done with our male doll in this video. I'm hoping to get his wig made soon. Then it will just be small stuff to finish him up. I plan to do a video of him once he's done.
Next time if the head is too stiff to put on put it in a zip bag then in hot water to soften the vinyl,it will help to put it on the body.(or you can use a blow dryer,but I like the hot water better its safer, I belive)

The 12" doll in this video does not have removable eyes. However the 24" does. It was so hard to get the back of the head on, I decided to wait and show how to put the eyes in a different video because this one was already long enough. yes, he is 60 cm, 1/3 scale. I love him. his face-up is done as well as his leather jacket, pants and sword. I just need to make his wig and boots and he will be finished. Oh, if there were only more hours in a day...We are so busy with work and remodeling our laundry, we just haven't had time to work on the dolls lately.😢
