I have naturally dark circles under my eyes so it actually felt really good to see them on the doll, especially because dolls are usually seen as flawless. Felt really good to see something that bothers me sometimes be appreciated, honestly!

@@xhanthi I have a serious question is The bjd’s ordinary makeup lasting? My younger sis wanted so badly one of these dolls and I am afraid that if she’ll touch it too much it could easily erase. So these makeups from aliexpress are actually going to last? 😢

I'm late to the party, but I ADORE the dimension and realism that you add with the blue tones by the nose/under the eyes. I'm definitely attempting this and the skin texture for my next face up.

Try Windsor Newton 000 Camel hair. You will love it. Buy two and keep them sharp with hairspray and in the freezer. This makes a razor sharp line.

This doll has most beautiful sculpting I have ever seen,I love how the faceup looks and when the eyes were in it made me cry because it was so beautiful. Amazing.
Gorgeous work! I have a couple of questions; 1) When I try and use gouache, even after sealing it still runs when wet. How can I avoid this? 2) And I didn't know you could get such bright lips with pastels! How many layers did it take? 3) Do you scrape the pastels to dust, brush it right off the pastel, or rub some on paper and dip your brush in that? Thanks!
I tried to answer this is my newer video, and someone commented on that you can actually get two different types of gouache, there's a watercolour one and an acrylic based one that doesn't run, so maybe that might work! I don't know much about the acrylic based gouache though.

this is really great work! How many times or how often do you seal in between layers? How do I know when it's time to seal? I wish I can acheive this on my dolls :)
It really depends on the style of face, some designs are pretty fast and will be done in just a few layers, and some need more detail and colour and take loads more layers! I can’t remember how many layers this one took but it was on the more rather than less side lol

How do you get a clean and smooth line when drawing the eyelid crease? Whenever I try to do the eyelid lines in watercolor pencil they turn out gritty-looking (kind of like drawing with a crayon). I always make sure to keep my pencils sharp, yet I’m still having this problem.

Hello! Your work is gorgeous. Where are some places to buy bjd sized eyelashes? I keep finding online either human sized, or long strips of continuous eyelashes that dont taper from short to long eyelashes and look unnatural. Tried seeing if you had a FAQ video or if it was mentioned on your website, but no luck. Thanks in advance!
