StarNim is based on an ancient Chinese puzzle game - one of many Nim games.

StarNim was first documented in 1958 in the Mathematics column of Scientific American magazine, but its roots go back several centuries. There is a whole family of Nim games, from simple parlor puzzles to heavier math challenges, and even toys! It's a great little 2-player puzzler with a long heritage

am not fan of puzzle games, but the history of nim's versions that very exciting. It is a great piece of history that can inspire new creations
