    I have to imagine that kids back in the day closed off all four sides of the hole in order to trick their friends.

    I love the idea behind this. But I was big on the wooden labyrinth game that you hade to turn knobs to get through without falling in holes.

    I think I could make my version with the help of my 3D printer. I think it would be useful for the conventions where I sell my merchandise, to have people pay a dollar for the possibility of winning a discount if they solve the maze. Simple, a little frustrating, cheap and is a good incentive to interact with the public.
