  • Hey there,
quitting your job can be scary especially if you already got used to so many things, but this can be the thing in your life that holds you back from living your dream life. In my 6 months of being unemployed I was able to learn new things about myself, discovering new places, building new habits, like tidying up my space, doing sports, pursuing my dream, starting this RUclips Channel and this is worth way more than your fear of quitting and thinking you're going to loose your home, friends, future jobs because of the gap in your resume. Don't listen to what your family or friends say. Only you know what you want and it's okay to take a break and use the time to figure things out. I'm trying to take your fear by sharing the beauty of life I experienced and hope it helps you on your personal growth journey.

being unemployed is a huge success and gives you freedom, but society tells you that being unemployed is bad and having a job is success 😂

True, there's a lot of hypocrisy within society about this...

  • @isherwoodwilliams8812

The whole thing is a bit lacking in depth:
What did you learn during your unemployed phase?
    What books did you read?
    How did you grow personally?
How did you live and pay the bills?
What are your plans for the future?
It is immediately obvious that, depending on what you understand by work, this has consequences for a person's future.
People reject work because they see it only as a compulsion, a necessary evil or as labor to earn money, instead of seeing work as a process of personal development and learning.

That would require introspection and hard work, and this woman quit her job (more likely sacked) because hard work wasnt her thing. So many fools think they can make a living talking about themselves because they are so self obsessed. This will grow old very quickly.

Usually when you overthink something and want it too bad its even more difficult to get because you tend to overthink or pressure yourself that you need it so bad. I didn't even want to go back to work just yet but applied for fun, sent a portfolio and got the job. I mean being unemployed by choice or not does make a difference in the way that you think about your situation. I'd try to make the most out of your situation and use the time that you have now to develop a skillset that will either help you in the job field that you're looking for or to start your own thing.

    Me: Quits job
Bank: hey, that car you’re paying off is mine now lol
    Landlord: eviction notice lol
Chequing account: 😬 WTF are you thinking bro?
My life would literally collapse in 30 days if I do this 😂. I’ve worked on a startup for a year now and we’re finally in the delivery stage of the product. This time next year, hopefully.

Sometimes what we are most scared of is what we need the most. There were plenty situations in my life that i thought i couldn't get out of, but i did. Usually when we are under higher pressure we tend to make more bold decisions because we know if we don't do anything we are already loosing so might as well try. If you are open to quitting your job for your dream life I wouldn't let your mentioned financial situation let me stop. Like selling things from home that you are not using, downsizing car, downsizing apartment for lower rent, being able to save up. We should always have an emergency fund of 3 months of living. But I'm positive that you would be able to pull it off too. I don't know about your role and situation with the startup and if that is what you want to do but good luck!

@@TBadalov for the growth. Stepping out of our comfort zone makes us grow. It’s like investing all your money into crypto, you could 100x your money or you could loose all your money. Def not recommending to do the crypto thing with all of your money but the same thing applies to our life’s. In order to be extraordinary we have to do what “nobody” or barely anyone does.
All we want in life is to be “comfortable” that’s why a lot of people want to be rich, so they can be comfortable but the reason why most people don’t end up being rich is because in order to get there “from an average or below average income home” you need to do and go way over average and beyond. It’s going to suck and be uncomfortable, but only going through that will get you there in the end. Like I said everyone told me to not quit, I’m still living. Might not be rich, but def grew more than most people around me working a Corporate job that they will do for the next 30 years 😅

      @arcanecoral  2 месяца назад +2

I agree that it always depends on everyone’s individual situation and resources. My video is meant for people that feel stuck in their job. I’m just trying to demonstrate with my story that there’s always a way if there’s a will. It’s not easy but possible. The reason why most people are too scared to quit is because of the financial unknown/ lack of financial security.
My only responsibility is myself as I don’t have kids so I can’t talk about people in that situation. But I can agree to successful business owners that I met who struggled a lot financially that they had a vision, didn’t give up and put the work in. Using or creating a “struggle” by quitting your 9-5 can help you and put you ahead of so many people because you create that financial pressure.
