I enjoyed the video but installing the timing cover after the head has been bolted down is not the correct way to install the timing cover. Also what brand oil pump did you install? I have never seen an s14 pump that looked like that?
Hello!! I have a doubt, in the minute 6:14 i can watch that the large chain tensioner is not installed and you install the cylinder head, after that the chain tensioner show up in his possition, how do you do to install it? Because i have an m3 e30 and to install the large chain tensioner i have to unistall the cylinder head
I never knew s14 has a 2 piece head ,amasing work man :)
Big thanks to VACmotorspots for helping with pistons and rods. Thank you Tony.
S14 magic
Nice job guys! Have a great weekend Frank. Dutch regards, Nico.
I am sure you are aware but the torque spec is 20nm AND then 50 degrees for the main bolts on the s14. Assembly looks great, nice work!
Yes!!! Good point. I forgot to put the 50 degrees in the video but I definitely did the 50 degrees!!!!
very nice work Frank

I wonder how many original e30s are left in the wild??
Man, you need to build an E30 with a B58B30C from a Supra/Z4 😜
Why yes, yes I do.
