I think Super Long Seventeen guide is gonna help u a lot to begin with. It might look overwhelming but, trust me..... it is so interesting that u wouldn't notice the time run by. If u watch that one guide..... it's like u have gained the beginners' knowledge of the group over 70%. So I recommend watching that guide first and then reacting to their songs and dances, just so that it would help u with better understanding of what's going on in the MV and how it is usually produced.
your description of wonwoo (5:02) is so real. he just kinda sneaks up on you out of nowhere. he’s definitely one of those that’s in the background because he’s quieter until he isn’t and all of a sudden you realize how extra he actually is and then he’s suddenly a wrecker.
I TOTALLY agree! And the fact he shared his painful emotions over the loss of his mother during this past Caratland just endeared him all the more. He's a big time introvert, and a well-educated, intelligent one at that. Have you seen the clip from years ago when he came out on stage wearing a goblin or monster outfit, took a sledgehammer to a piano, was laughing maniacally, only to pull off his mask and everyone was SHOCKED it was him?? Even *I* was surprised when the mask came off! He has SO MUCH inside of him that he reserves until just the right time, and then BOOM! There he is, and you can't ignore him! Love Wonwoo!
@@erinlamascus9255 i’m newer to svt but he’s definitely making his way up on my list and will probably be my ult soon so i’m speaking from my own experience of him :)
8:24 oh you have no idea! they even performed this under the rain during a storm in one of their concerts! WET! LOL and it just made it more quite an experience to see! it's so good!
Seventeen does not have a set sound. Woozi produces the music and he does not have a set sound to go off of. He makes the music based on the members, since he knows their abilities and what they can all achieved. Also there songs have to be cleared by all members. The super long guide is totally worth it! It gives some many good clips and lots of information about the group and each individual member!
I am adoring your guys. Please never move past yelling wet because that was the realest reaction ever. That was a reaction that I have literally had. Can’t wait to see more Seventeen and I am agreeing with the guide. They will be very entertaining.
Wet has become an instant meme in our house!! I don't think we would be able to move past things like that if we tried!! Thank you so much for being here with us
This is the thing about SVT, if you liked a song you will love it live and if you didn't like a song very much you will love it live. So in other words, whether you like a song or not, if you listen to it live you will end up loving it 8:50 Unfortunately SVT hasn't come to Europe for concerts yet, but during 2023 they've come many times to film variety shows, the MV for God Of Music and to attend fashion shows. Hopefully next year they'll have a world tour adding Europe as a destination. They had the opportunity in 2020 but because of the pandemic they cancelled all 5-6 dates they had scheduled As you have noticed SVT has done a lot of different genres and their discography is awesome cause you'll always find songs you'll love. I highly recommend their live performances and dance practices, you won't be disappointed ( they're called Performance Kings, Synchronization Kings and Theatre Kids of Kpop for a reason) 9:57 Carats don't have a favorite song per se and you'll find many different opinions about it since my favorite is 'Thanks' but many will say 'HOT' or 'Home'. It's true that the first song that comes to our mind when we talk about SVT and the most iconic one is 'Very Nice' or 'Aju Nice'. It's their never-ending encore song
Their sub units are (with 1 recommendation for each): HipHop Unit - Fire Vocal Unit - Same Dream, Same Mind, Same Night Performance Unit - Lilili Yabbay BSS (BooSeokSoon) - Fighting SVT Leaders - Cheers
IMO the MOST Seventeen song would be Very Nice. It's their iconic one, it's got their funky bright fun vibes, that's THE quintessential Seventeen song, especially of the ones you haven't reacted to yet.
Wow youre really going through the seventeen phase?!!!?! Thank you so much for working this hard to give us your fun reactions. Hope you enjoy more of seventeen !!!
Seventeen are one of the most rare groups that sound WAY BETTER LIVE !!!!the Adlibs are crazy the energy the dance the rap the highnotes EVERYTHING !!!!!! you should check their end year award shows performances !!
Don't be scared of the name "Super Long Guide". It's definitely long, but you'll become so engrossed in it time will fly. You should also watch (at some point in the future) their 14-part focus on each of the members during tour, as well as the story of them becoming trainees and what they had to go through. It'll rip your heart out, I promise. So three (3) long series, but you won't even realize the time you'll be so caught up in the stories.
4:48 this is Wonwoo, my bias, he has the deepest voice in group and yes he is the most introverted and quite one and often wears glasses Thanks for reactions to Seventeen!
You should watch TMA 2023 PERFORMANCE / AAA 2022/ GDA 2023 and there is a sub unit that has a very fun genre called BSS (booseoksoon the first sylabble of their last names ) that has hoshi dk and seungkwan as members their performance at CCMA2023 !! ICONIC AND BRINGS SO MUCH JOY
we are being so spoiled with seventeen reactions aren't we? from the last reaction, for other performance content I would recommend their live performances, specifically year end award shows to begin with- recent ones are golden disc 2022, AAA 2022, and TMA 2023. For variety content for sure their home grown show Going Seventeen (popular and easy episodes might be the friends special, any don't lie episode, TTT, and special shoutout to 'the guest who left early' where they shout each other's names a lot to help attach names to faces). You can also watch game caterers x seventeen! They do a brief intro / interview of all the members at the beginning so that might be good for getting to know them too
They own every concept and genre they do, the best ones are definitely 'Fear', 'Hot' & 'Left & right' (of which the ending actually continues the starting of home;run) and most of their japanese releases - 'Fallin flower', '24h' & 'Call call call' are top tier the super long svt guide is definitely worth the time, it's like watching a short film in divided parts of the units so it's not overwhelming and interesting all throughout, atleast before diving into the nct one, yall should definitely do the svt guide first, both boygroups with the biggest amount of members after all😭
Seventeen is well-known for their performance and vocal ability. Their discography is indeed versatile, same goes for their choreography. If you want to watch a full package performance, please watch Seventeen🤭 Seventeen came from a small company (that also declare bankruptcy around their debut) but Svt managed to get recognized so fast in kpop industry which is very rare for a group from small company. Since 2016, SVT is label as part of EBS (EXO, BTS, SEVENTEEN) due to their popularity. For a new group (within 19 month) to achieve the same level as well-known group at that time is a huge achievement. If their company (Pledis) have better management for SVT, I'm sure svt gonna blow up internationally sooner since Seventeen very famous in Asia. This is bcs these boys (oops men for now🤭) keep releasing bangers each year and giving us an amazing performance. Hope you guys can react to their concert and award show performance too❤️💎
Yet, more SVT reactions from you two! Since you mentioned getting into each unit, I'll suggest again SEVENTEEN in ROLING STONE 'IN MY ROOM'. Each unit performed their song. Vocal - PINWHEEL Hiphop - TRAUMA Performance - LILILI YABBAY
Sorry to break it to you but SVT are incredible in concert 😁 if you ever get the chance to see them then you must! I went to see them in Jakarta last year, they performed out in a storm for the whole performance, they didn’t make one mistake even though the weather conditions was dreadful and the stage was so slippery. They kept the energy up all the way through, it was literally the best concert I’ve ever been to. 3hrs of pure fun!

You're spoiling us because I can't wait for the next reaction to drop already 😭😭 edit 1: I feel like if I think of Seventeen, the song I would describe them with is "AJU NICE". It's a little old but it still holds up, much like all their other old songs.
I think that the main songs of SVT you should watch are : AJU NICE (VERY NICE), DON'T WANNA CRY, AND CLAP . These are the songs that everyone should know from them even if you are not a fan

Which they're known for, their variety series Going Seventeen is notably popular but there's a lot of content there so it can be hard to pick what to start watching on the front. 😁 And yes, they are awesome live, both watching live performances and when existing in front of your very own eyes in concert. 😂
They were going to play the O2 arena [back in 2020 i think], sold out in minutes.... but covid crippled their entire planned european tour. I think they plan to tour europe soon, but nothing confirmed yet. The super long guide is the only guide really worth watching, with so many members... you need the space to do any of them justice. Thank you for coming back so fast, loved this reaction. I can't really think of a performance that captures svt's essence as a whole, cause they do a lot of different styles. But if you want to see how they normally are on their concerts there is a Left and Right performance that I really enjoy (ruclips.net/video/dDOcBJpPLuo/видео.htmlsi=8yZl5utSQr8SGiHy) though I would recomend reacting to the MV first. I think Rock With You is great live.. SVT's performances in general are great so I cant tell if its the song or them.. But the song that I know for a matter of fact that keeps ppl moving and Jumping is Very Nice/Aju Nice because SVT esp Seungkwan will not allow you to stay still or not jump, Like you HAVE TO enjoy that song. Its is the default encore song of every single SVT concert since 2017. The staff play the song continously, Carats or SVT dont know when it will end. So there have been so many instances where SVT will give their ending speech and will be ready to go or sometimes leave the stage. But Aju nice starts playing and they come back and like continue the encore. Its called Neverending Aju Nice. If you havent seen or heard this song. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT!!!!
Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. U guys should go to Kpop night at the club. They do that monthly i think in London. Jenny another reactor in the UK and her friends go every month. Amazing energy. U would love it. =0] It's so strange to see this MV after i know everyone's names. UwU . =0p This is my fav song. Before i heard this i did not like the little i heard before 1-2 songs. This was addictive. I watched this MV that year like 20 times. On 1st listen i was in love and the song was added to my playlist. Seeing this now they have changed so much. Grown more. Loved the vocals, so good. Great harmonies. Hoshi looked cute as usual but so did Jun, Joshua (damn), Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Seungkwan, Mingyu, Woozi, Vernon, DK, The8, SCoups, and Dino. Jeonghan's tongue i did not notice until my 3rd watch. eep. What a pest! Lol. Feels. This one really caught my attention. A year later I am a new fan and i have more songs on my playlist. They are good guys. This was fun. I don't think i realised that the song is for the fans. They so sweet. They actually have a lot of songs for their fans to my surprise. I love that. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💜 @lmf221 said on 8/23 Reminder for context that Rock with You was released during COVID so I really view this song as missing performing and sharing music with Carats. The last scene that mimics a concert really cemented that for me! Most of their music is about each other (the team and members) or CARATS but a lot of the early stuff was very funky/energetic. I love seeing people fall for Seventeen...
The knowledge just accumulates along the way so it wouldn't bother me if you never watch a guide. I'm more tempted to just recommend things that aren't essential but are totally guaranteed to be interesting. For example this video "How Seventeen spends their day for a music stage" which is from earlier on in their career. You get to see how their managers have their hands full waking up 13 members at 6am, what their dorms are like, and herding them out the door for their busy music show schedule where their room backstage can barely fit them. It's almost like preschool the way they have to call out their own numbers 1 thru 13 and lay out mats for their nap time. And Mingyu is missing when they are supposed to wake up. See if you can figure out where he is lol. ruclips.net/video/qy80Rl67mBM/видео.html
Can you react Seventeen Japanese songs too? Seventeen Japanese song are no less good, let's try listening to Even if the world ends tomorrow and Falling Flower

There's just so much for us to catch up on. Sometimes we get excited and can't help ourselves
0:40 funny... they have a song called *Run to you* lol
For variety shows they have their show going seventeen which really shows their personalities and it s so funny !!! Also they appeared on Game cateres !! You should watch it it really shows a bit of who they are plus it s super entertaining !! I always rewatchh it

I also feel like you might like some of their other early title tracks since they leaned more on the funky side, like Adore U, Mansae, and again, Aju Nice. The Super Long guide really is worth watching but you don't have to do it all at once! Oh that's so sad about their European tour. Hopefully they come back one day

There are the usual 3 subunits but I think for you guys leaders might be the best unit to start with.

Members - Scoups( hip hop unit leader), Woozi(vocal unit leader) and Hoshi(performance unit leader)
