A really useful library for Kurzweil K2700 / PC4 inspired by some of the most important 80's artists like Madonna, Toto, Michael Jackson, Mr Mister, Europe, Bon Jovi.
All the sounds are taken from the legendaries synths DX7 first version and DX7IID/FD by Yamaha.

I love the FM on k2700. I've always had a love hate relationship with the DX. I had a TX816 back in the day and it was powerful and all but just incredibly noisy. And the noise was sort baked in with lots of aliasing and inter-modulation hash. k2700 FM is clean, like FM8 or our Synclavier Regen. Just lovely and makes for great layers with the Regen.
The K2700....what a beauty!👌 I think it's time to buy one with these 80's sounds 😍

Got a weak spot for Kurzweil (got a full blown K2500Xs and a K2000)and think, sorry to say ,they have got stuck in their form ,but these FM sounds impresses A LOT and makes me see the K2700 in a new light,well done!
Do these sounds come with the kurzweil k 2700 ?
Hi does the synth come with these DX7 tones or you added them and how ? Please explain source and if you didn’t have to add for it had them etc. Would be a great help to many people thanks 🙏🏻
The K2700 has an FM engine identical to the DX7, you can recreate the identical FM sounds as if you had a DX7 in front of you. It has the same algorithms as the DX7. In addition, the K2700 can import the original Sysex of the DX7, but as in all synths, the sounds must then be controlled in dynamics. Because the Synths of the 80s had different dynamics than the current ones, so to make sounds sound good, they must be checked and fixed.
