The playing is astoundingly great and shows off the instrument’s great potential. Thanks.
Ensoniq… I miss you so much…
Killer Demo! Great job Jim :)
That CP80 with added chorus sounds soooo sweet. I have to test it on my PC4-7 👍
Great sounds and playing! Sold!
Thank you Jim. Now I have to go practice.
I like these old videos. My grandpa had this keyboard. Great time.
Well KURZWEIL ‚s native sounds are already just beautiful
Espectacular. Saludos desde el sur de Chile.
That CP80 is fantastic
I see the drum pads, I've not seen a single video, anywhere online, that highlights the drum pads or the k2700's ability to easily create beats like a drum machine. Does such a video exist?
Well, that's kind of something that not just a professional keyboard can do but many cheaper arrangers. I think at the K2700s price point, you're appealing to more studio musicians than only performers.
Kurzweil always have great orchestral patches.
Fantastic
I like Kurzweil because they don't sound artificially digital. Not a knock on other workstation manufacturers.
But the K series keyboards just have a warmth to their sound.
I'm a solo artist and vocalist. I have yet to see them show how to use the pads and recording sequencer to write a cover song on the fly....
the ribbon controller 👍

I need help to use multis in song mode. And other questions. Can anyone help out? I wonder if I might be able to pay someone for their time with this?
Which music stores in Canada sell Kurzweil keyboards ?
Fantastic sound! Wich speakers would you recommend for the k2700?
Super!
How does this compare to a Yamaha YC?
supreme
Can I connect a DAW and capture my AUDIO performance over USB? How many "channels" are transmitted simultaneously - 2, 4 or more?
How does this compare to Montage-8?
Wonder how this compares to korg nautilus?
I want to buy it, but want to know first if it is possible to fully use it also as a DAW controller (Logic), using all the sliders and knobs as a midi controller. Is it easily possible? I couldn't find an answer anywhere.
I know this comment’s old but If it does MIDI over USB then I can’t see why it wouldn’t integrate with a DAW from that alone. At the very least you should be able to with a MIDI interface but I think that would be overkill. As far as mapping MIDI to your different board functions that surely must be possible but I’m not sure of the process. I’m also not familiar with Logic myself, more of an Ableton guy. Need to do more research on that.
Does this make a good DAW controller also? Is the sequencer usable?
How is this different than the PC3/4?

Does it have rythmns, backing tracks ?
yes it has a full 16 track sequencer that can be programmed to be triggered in many different ways.
It's not an arranger keyboard but if you put some efforts into it, it can be done.
Does the K2700 any sampling options?
As far as I know, nyet. But you can upload your sound files (eg record your own voice etc) and manipulate it using all the VAST synthesis and large array of Kurzweil effects.
@@etme1000 oh, so I will be able install my prerecorded custom sounds, but not sample directly into K2700. That’s great
@@JoelBouchillonI had a K2000R and I made samples in it.
The organ isn’t quite loud enough. Can you turn it up, please? 😳
This thing has got nothing on a Korg M1. 😅
Why so many duff old organ sounds? This is a high-specced synth workstation. Old duffers can get their crusty naff sounds elsewhere...
Awwww, did those sounds make you soil your pink thong?
Because we’re the ones with the money for this.
