      @@DoctorHobby i think their DF3's do that aswell. Anyway thanks for a great video!

      My Charming DF3 doesn't, but they have made others that do... Fun times we can even talk about model trains singing to us, that's for sure

    Hello, did you need to modify the Roco cars or the Marklin Locomotive at all to make them work together?

    • @DoctorHobby
      @DoctorHobby  2 года назад +2

      The only thing i did was change the coupling in the Marklin to the roco dummy power coupling so that they would all link together. The roco tail car provides power to all the other Roco cars

      I get most of mine from either AJCKids, Reynaulds, and also EuroTrainHobbies and a couple of others. Sometimes I need to order directly from Europe and I use Latellier du Train and Modelbahnshoppe lippe. Avoid Macro Micro Mundo like the plague.

      @@DoctorHobby Thanks for sharing. That looks like a good list of the serious retailers. I bought my train set from Memoba in Austria: ruclips.net/video/PP327-79JhM/видео.html

    it is obvious that the Marklin scheme sound went bananas in this project as the souand sequence is 5 times faster than the curent sent to the motor

      It’s a bit of a mess… I’m a little surprised that it’s so shabby

    3:39 the sound is WRONG. I can see it's a 1216 which doesn't have a melody.

    Jagerndofer will be making a model of the Taurus Night Jet. I’m not sure, but I think there was only one locomotive in real life with that paint scheme.

    Märklin is known in Europe for good products but really really shitty soundfiles.
    Especially the steam locos sound all the same.

      You’d think as much as they charge that they’d be a bit better in this area..
