All the Pet Shop Boys concerts are a different thing. Because they are changing the concept all time. Changing the design of their shows all the time in a very clever and interesting way. It's really good fun to see the evolution of their shows over the years. Sometimes their shows are more theatrical, more dancey, more electric, they even have real rock or very latin concerts. Sometimes, it is even like being part of a cinematic show. I really love this attitude.
They wrote it. They can vibe it any way they want. Both versions great to be fair. PSBs do a lot of playing their 'written for others' songs live and long may they keep doing that!
That whole Performance film is amazing. Also check out their Glastonbury performance of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida. And The Pop Kids from the Inner Sanctum shows
Thanks for reacting to my BOYS!! A great live performance of "It's a Sin/I Will Survive" is awesome!! Kinda like how Madonna did "Future Lover's/I Feel Love" live. Thanks Dereck! Best version on YT - "Pet Shop Boys - It's A Sin, I Will Survive (Live Rio 1994)"
Lives are always good, as they always show the true voices of the person and will highlight their talents pretty well too. I always love seeing people react to live stuff more cause it is really sensational 💙
If you want to see a GREAT (if not the greatest) performance live I recommend you Its a sin/ I wii survive Live in Rio, although all the concert is worth it
This was a track on the classic 1988 album Introspective. It also featured the crazy but amazing “Always On My Mind/In My House”. When they were interviewed about Eighth Wonder, they always referred to Patsy Kensit (the Eighth Wonder lead singer) as “Cheesy Wotsit” (a kind of corn snack crisp). She found fame in her childhood advertising peas. She later married and divorced Noel Gallagher from Oasis. But do yourself a favour and react to “Always On My Mind/In My House” from Introspective. There’s no accompanying video, but, wow, what a choon!
Great video and I'm a mega PSBs fan. One critique though, this is a PSBs song. It was originally released Eighth Wonder but it was written by PSBs. That being said I love both versions. Sorry for being "that guy" lol
You should listen to the original INTROSPECTIVE version. The production especially the drums are soooooo much better than in this 1991 live version :). And it is looong :)
I propose the French techno band , Elli et Jacno with "Je t'aime tant ", recorded in 1982. 40 years ago ! Jacno was very talented and innovative . Elli is really a seductive girl too ! Take a look on the video.

True: Pet Shop Boys originally wrote the song for Eighth Wonder back then and later re-recorded it & used it for themselves.
Valió la pena ver la reacción de este papi chulo

I can’t believe with you being the synth lover that you are that someone hasn’t suggested PSB Paninaro!!! You will LIVE!
Yes, they are great live. I got tickets for their tour in June. It was already cancelled two times, so I hope it will happen..
I like both versions and wow look at this cinematic performance so amazing, pet shop boys are awesome like always, thank you

Performance is one the best show i have ever seen. So different. A very contemporary approch of « live concert scenography»
Didn't know this version, thanks for reacting to it!
Pet shop boys and Depeche mode are the 80s amazing bands
That whole Performance film is amazing. Also check out their Glastonbury performance of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida. And The Pop Kids from the Inner Sanctum shows
I love Eighth Wonders version too. Patsy Kensit looking young and glamourous
Yeah the PSB wrote it for her
@@suburbia2050 They also performed the backing track, so when you listen to it, thats the PSB your listening to with Kensit's vocals.

The best no doubt
I still have that VHS from this concert..lol.
@DERECK The live version of "Losing My Mind" from this same tour show - [ "pet shop boys, Performance" 1991] is incredible

Their greatest performance live, It’s a sin/ I will survive Live in Rio. A must see performance, truly. INCREDIBLE
chanel spring 2015 uses this song as its soundtrack ,,very cool watching models walking to this
I recommend TOGETHER, from their Ultimate Pet Shop Boys compilation. Fantabulous synths and beats.

Note: Pet Shop Boys wrote this song for Eighth wonder :)
Los Reyes del Pop
You must react the 2009 Brit-Award Performance from the Pet shop boys.
The pet shop boys wrote this song
There's also a studio recording of this version on their 'Introspective' album:

Ni sabes!! Está versión de Pet Shop Boys es mil veces mejor a la original! En fin... cuestión de gustos.

Please try Money from the same concert 😁
Both versions are nice but I prefer the original version too. Even musically. There is much more drama on the Eighth Wonder version.
Hit top
Song of 1988.
