Very nice to see the biomes of my home state being shown to the World in such a mesmerizing way. Thank you!
Fico feliz que vc gostou! :D
Nature is perfect ❤.
Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“The duality of the emersed and submersed worlds, existing in parallel and supporting each other.” Eloquently stated and beautifully shot. A very meditative and enjoyable video!
Thank you so much for your kinds words :)
Downloading and keeping this for future reference. It is a very doable project for a biotope contest.
I'd like to see it appear in a contest one day, I'm glad it was useful!
Nature is perfect and is the best scaper, as we are supposed to find solace and comfort in it
Very true!
wow so nice
Thank you very much!
Thx for showing us this beatiful place ❤
🤗
Thank you. One of my favorite videos.
YES MORE MORE MORE
I will do my best😅
So beautiful! One feels like another world
So beautiful.
Wonderful footage of the fish and plants we love as aquarists.
Thank you :D
The video is very beautiful and relaxing. How beautiful nature is. Thanks for sharing.
Keep up the great content. Love seeing the fish, plants and natural habitats that we try to mimic in our homes!
thank you for your kind words and I'm pleased you enjoy the content! :D
so beautiful yet also so sad...it is awe inspiring how resilient nature is.
Thank you! Yes, nature will get along fine without us in the end, but it would be nice if humanity could do less damage in the meantime!
I smiled through this entire video! ❤ I may attempt to recreate this in a tank, so I saved this to refer back to. Thank-you for sharing this! ❤
Hi, I'm really pleased to hear that! I'd love to see what you do if you decide to recreate it!
Wow thanks for sharing this is beautiful I could sit under that water line forevermore
Thank you so much :)
What a wonderful underwater world 😊
Must be a dream to explore it "live" - thanks for sharing this with us!
Thanks Hans!
I stopped reading
the captions
because each sentence
was broken up
into small bits
like this.
The video is
beautiful but I
have no idea
what you said
after the first
couple of sentences.
Keep this in
mind when making
caption-only videos
in the future.
Thank you for
sharing this beautiful
habitat with the
rest of us.
Have a nice
day!
Wow, wonderful video
Very nice 👍
Thank you for sharing, Tai. Irresponsible humans. Yet nature always seems to find a way. God bless.
Thanks Phil! :)
Beautifull
Bravo from Romania Dracula land 🎉❤
Absolutely beautiful. The invasive species are worrying though and so is the pollution. But your videos are inspirational, for the aquarists and from a nature conservation perspective. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words, they are really encouraging and appreciated :)
I often go to visit nearby streams to understand how i need to do a biotope ❤
And majority of the time i ended up spending so much time to see this submersible world❤
Thank you. Very beautiful. Hard to believe something like this hasn't been destroyed. South America has the most interesting and beautiful fishes IMHO.
They are on their way... just takes a little bit longer occasionally if there's some other stuff to wreck on the way to this place.
Thank you! Nature manages to survive in the margins, but it's pretty grim...
Thanks for sharing Tai!
Thanks Jason, I'm loving all your stuff too, I want to get out to Oz and see it for real :P
@@biotopia5319 Look me up when you do 🙂
awesome video, very peaceful and calming, I also enjoy just observing the aquatic environments and apreciating them, I live on the west coast of Florida so I get to snorkel often
Just found your channel and subscribed, absolutely love it , been keeping fish for over 20 years but love seeing them like this in there own habitat, you have a great life witnessing this nature

Fantastic!!!!👏👏👏

Thank you so much Henry :)
Muito bom! 🎉
I am sorry. I can only like the video once.
What a great video and exactly what I find interesting in the hobby. Rheophilic environments and fish.
Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you for your kind support! :D
Best content on RUclips
Stunning, thanks for sharing

ich liebe es...😍👍👍👍
Danke! :D
Beautiful place! I hope pleople realize how important they are and keep contamination away!
This is wonderful! As a naturalist that used to live in Natal, it is very pleasant to watch this video. Now I live in Rio de Janeiro, and we have a lot of interesting stream habitats around here. I always focus on birds when I'm in the bush, but my brother demonstrates a very high interest on fish. By the way, is there any database that can help on the ID of the species? We've just identified one, Mimagoniates microlepis, however, there's a Characidium species that we don't know exactly the species. Thanks in advance, amazing video! :)
Hi! Thanks for your message! Regarding Characidium, you should reach out to Dr. Paulo Buckups at PUC, based in the Museo Nacional RJ, he should be able to help! With database it's hard...maybe Inaturalist, or the Checklist of the Freshwater Fishes of South and Central America. If you need a PDF let me know :)
Shared this video with all my Fishy friends. Good vid…keep ‘em coming.
Thank you so much Chad! :)
Great video footage! Thanks for sharing this view with us ❤️
Thank you so much!
THIS is the kind of material I was wayting for you ONE DAY would upload since the day I subscribed here.
AWESOME FOOTAGE ! ! !
Thank you so much :) I've not had time until recently to go through the footage from last years expeditions really, and time and money are always an issue, but I'm pleased you enjoyed this material, now that I finally got it posted!
@@biotopia5319 hope to see more like this footage in the next time. longer videos that take the viewer on a little journey mixed with nice ambient sounds. good luck and all the best to you. kind regards from germany
❤
Lagao Azul? great video, pristine water in an urban environment. I would hardly say the people were "that" poor. I live in one of the richest countries in the world and the government can't even find the money to clean our main waterway. Before white trash arrived (me) here, the Indigenous Yarra Yarra tribe said the yarra river water was clean and clear, now it's just a muddy brown due to carp and suburban run off and development. Further up stream as suburbia falls back from the river side the water becomes clear and clean AND drinkable (though you should always boil it) and you can see fish and platypus in the river. Some of our creeks due to rock and massive reed beds have created clear water channels and again you can see fish and platypus if you are lucky.
Also are there no crocodiles in the water?
👍🏻🤘
In Tai-Land again?
You "Lucky fish" !
Hi Steffan! This is footage from a trip last November, I only just got around to posting it! 😅
Pretty much a worst case scenario for video compression technology! Such a lovely video though! Thanks for sharing!
Hey, do you have any advice? I filmed this on a GoPro and I only have Final Cut Pro for editing...I'd appreciate any suggestions :)
@@biotopia5319 You may have to experiment with different compression settings on the camera. All of the different GoPro models support different formats and they may even be configured differently. Generally you want to use the highest-quality, least-compressed format that you can get out of the camera (which means really big files, unfortunately). And then after editing, when you upload to RUclips, you'll want to match the highest quality setting so that RUclips servers don't need to re-compress the video. This will probably take a lot of experimentation since there are so many variables. A home aquarium set up with a fast-moving river biotope would be a good way to test. You definitely don't want to worry about camera settings when you're on a trip!
Thank you for that detailed info! I thought I had put the video on 4K at 60fps and that I rendered it in the same compression format, and when I upload them RUclips seems to recognise that...but perhaps I need to review it to double check. I'm not very tech-minded unfortunately but I will try to improve it! I really want to get a housing and dome for my DSLR but they are crazy expensive...the GoPro was a compromise. I also have a little Olympus TG5 which I used, but it refuses to shoot in 4K for some reason and the moment there's a tiny bit of shadow, the video quality plummets. I really appreciate you taking the time to advise me, thank you!
@@biotopia5319 Looking forward to seeing some video from your future trips and anything you want to show us in aquaria closer to home!
What a wonderful video! May I know what camera did you use?
Thank you! This was filmed on the GoPro 11, and I had a simple Dome device that I housed it in.
I wonder if I can get a human hand for the full biotope experience on my aquarium.
Make a video in Espírito Santo state, in our state have good destines for this finality, some places is Paulo César Vinha State Park, Caparaó National Park, the Muncipality of Linhares and Colatina, Itaúnas State Park and Jucu and Itapemirim rivers
Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to visit ES! Thank you for the recommendations!
Is this near that giant dune field area called the Lencios Maharensis ?
Hi! Those dunes are further to the north and larger, but quite similar in many ways!
@@biotopia5319 oh cool. Thank you for the response and awesome video footage of that habitat.
nahh thats crazy. we need more pollution over there rn
And no crocs /gators. Only human problems.
Absolutely beautiful but please change the music it is very annoying
