I know this is an old video, Blackdog no longer sells these, I reached out. If you have yours on the shelf I’d love to buy em off ya. Cheers!

Hi Kyle, would these pegs be good for long days touring on highways? Or would you recommend one with a rubber surface? Enjoying your vids. Best from UK.

bleepbooster so these pegs are made for stand up riding and are best for that type of riding. That being said, if you have some long days to get to the Trail and you are going to be on the pavement for a while, I can honestly say, there is very little vibrating in these legs. I don't think its anymore than the factory pegs. Also, good boots with soles like Vibram soles greatly reduce any vibration felt in the pegs

I got a pair from Amazon - they were from a 2000 Honda XR650L and about $35 - larger and a perfect fit too. :)

Hey just a little advice. All the accessories are great, but as I'm sure u know weight becomes a big issue for a number of things, mostly gas mileage and heavy off-road weight not good. Another issue few think about is breakdowns. You don't want a lot of gear if there is trouble. If your doing fire roads and always have support close by, your fine. I use to have a lot of stuff. As the years have passed, I've cut my weight in half in gear alone. The bigger and manly wider the panniers the less performance and mpg. Good videos. Just trying to help! Cheers

Sid Shelton thanks for the advice. I agree totally. I ONLY use my panniers for long trips. And to brutally honest, I have only used them once on a multi day trip. If it's a day or overnight trip I don't bring them. This is the biggest reason I went with soft bags is to cut weight. As far as everything else goes. I'm a firm believer that even though it may add weight, protection like crash bars, skid plates etc, are more than worth their weight. Looking at my other videos you can see that I ride my bike pretty hard and have laid it done countless times because I ride it like it was intended to be ridden. If I had not had them I would have broken a lot of shit 😂. Thanks for the input. It's always better to have multiple points of view.
