      It's just PVC tubing with end caps. But if you want something pre-made, this will work: amzn.to/3feYn2e

    Not sure why you are Catching flak for the toolbox I did the same thing and it's awesome, I have an actual Givi box on the left side of the bike, and fabricated a 3in PVC tube toolbox on the right side above the muffler but separated by a heat shield and it works just fine

      I think it's just friendly banter. Agreed, tool tube is super handy. I love having the critical tools at hand at all times, but not taking up much space. Don't often need them - but when I do, fully stocked tool tube saves the day.

      @@PointsUnknownTV yes I couldn't agree more, I do small touring rides off-road and I carry approximately 10 to 15 pounds of tools and odds-and-ends and have always been able to fix anything that's broken while out and about in the middle of nowhere, the people I ride with think it's pretty impressive that I carry some extra necessities

    I have got both the batzen and the fork shield and yes, it too makes a difference. Take the fork shield out and you will get a high(ish) frequency vibration. At least I do.

    Where can I find the foot pegs like yours (that won’t break the bank) and brake extender for a 2016 AT?

    • @PointsUnknownTV
      @PointsUnknownTV  Месяц назад

      2016 and 17 AT should be the same. You'll need to confirm, but check the description or the blog post for links to the products I recommended.
      9. Larger footpegs (~$60) www.ebay.com/i...
      (not exactly the same as purchased)
      10. Brake pedal extension for around (~$20) amzn.to/3HurZ5j

    i like everything. can a helmet fit in the tailbox?

      No

      No. I usually don't worry about leaving my helmet on the bike for short stops. For longer, I run a cable lock through the face shield. But I pull off my sena comms and throw that in the rear case.

    Funny (to me) story. On our way to Mexico I was riding behind my buddy in Big Bend and started being hit by hard shell bugs. Never heard of so many hard shell bugs in Big Bend and they tasted like . . . rubber? Turned out the bottom clip loosened on his carry-tube, similar to the one pictured here. The bottom of the tube was actually shearing off little pieces of his knobbies, rooster tailing them right into my helmet. Shortly after the whole setup let go and the road was full of sundry tools and bits of plastic. I thought it was hilarious . . . not so much my buddy.

      Well, sounds like it's a lucky thing it was just a yard sale of tools instead of a tire failure and wreck. So the moral of the story is to check and make sure it's tight and right every once in a while?

    Sorry, but you seem to be covering your bike with cheap crap from China. I have bought those Hangard covers, and when the bike fell over they just snapped. Recommending this junk is not cool

    Sorry ebay levers are never good, my puig levers felt 10x better then the ebay levers the previous owner had

      That's okay. To each their own. I absolutely love my ebay levers and folks that have rode my AT comment on how great they feel. Maybe I just got lucky. YMMV.
