A Beatles tune in a park! The squirrels in the tree mostly behaved themselves this time, but there were a couple of intense soccer dads yelling in the background. All adds to the ambience. :)

The more one hears Beatles covers the greater they become. Truly their songs are timeless
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ :)
Exactly my thoughts
Ditto
Yesss!
Well said
That guitar solo was amazing
100% agree. Lovely. So understated and clever.
Agreed
yesssss!!!!!!!!!!!!
True
Yes, perfect note for note copy of what George Harrison played on the original.
It’s been said hundreds of times, but it bears the repetition - Toni, your playing is just so damn tasteful and supports Reina’s singing and playing perfectly. You are both outstanding musicians and I am grateful for your music.
Amen
Mega- Dittos!
Yep that solo always keeps me comin back
What's nice is that they don't try to duplicate the original song. Rather, they create a beautiful version that's true to the Blue Grass tradition and yet their own...Bravo!
As McCartney himself once said after a Beatles take: "Keep that one. Mark it fab!". Superb cover.
Yeah I remember that bit from the anthology sessions after watching NOW AND THEN short film
Any 12 string song is a good song. Also, no Sunday is complete without the musical awesomeness of you two gals. Thank you!
I think Rena is playing a Martin D-18 (12).
I love it when she hauls that 12 string out. It really sounded great!
Thank you girls most excellent
I enjoy this, but then I enjoy (practically) ANY Beatle song....
@@garypaquin9571 I was trying to decide if it looked like my wife's DM12.
Love Reina’s vocal and Toni’s flat picking was sublime. And adding the 12-string was the cherry on top.
This is eventuell better than the original Song ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Should mean even better!
Beatles, the gift that keeps giving!
No nude, no exhibition, pure talent, beautiful voices, harmony and playing
What's wrong with nude
I think he was bemoaning the lack of nudity and exhibition, but conceding that he was nonetheless satisfied with the voices and playing. That's what I hope, at any rate.@@docsavage8640
Is’t exactly that !
Damn, this song is 56 years old! As long as we have folk like you two these songs will never die, thank you 😊
Beatles songs never die, they just keep sounding fresh. Many sound like they could have been released this week ! Just shows how enduringly enjoyable their music still is.
Like me, 56 years old!
The harmony was perfectly soft and subtle, as it should be. Excellent
My life is better having been given the gift of your music. Others may have written some of the songs you play, yet no one plays them as you do. THANK YOU!
The squirrels and the maidens in the park 🤭😉 that was so nice, guys ❤❤❤😇 love to go
i'm 70... grew up with the beatles/music.. wonderful to here it playing with so much fun and positive charisma , love it :-) (love bluegrass musik also)
so important in times like this. Many thanks.
A great sunday morning tune! Anyone else notice that Toni is quietly and without fanfare now one of the best guitarists on YT videos?? Amazingly talented yet puts so much hard work into her craft. Maybe that I'm just late to the party, but I really stand in awe!
Agree. Toni is a badass player!
She makes it look damn easy‼️
This version could be the Saturday evening tune!

@@marcjacobscontinued9411 Horrible
YES! Toni is absolutely a fantastic player..I could watch her play every day! I so wish they would come to Houston.
Both voices and the instrumentation are, as always, a joy to my ears. But for me, the highlight of all this duo's performances is the smile in their eyes once the performance is over. Love it...
I haven't heard this song in ages. Thank you both for rekindling some very fond memories of love, youth, and life. ❤
Superb version of a great song. This song is still being listened to at least 50 yrs later..
Great days for music, thank you.
Wow, what a great choice for you guys to play. I am so surprised that you can come back week after week with such impressive work. I surprise myself by how much I look forward to Sunday mornings. Thank you girls for brightening our Sundays!
They have an uncanny ability to find a once loved song that I haven't thought of in years and putting a wonderful fresh spin on it.
@@mikegalvin9801 You mean to say you haven't played Beatles music for years !!?? Shame on you. Wash your mouth out with soap. lol
@@gribwitch No, I have a whole bunch in rotation and the Sirius 60s and 70s channels on my car play them (you can tell my demographic - like the comedian who complained I had to get Sirius cuz I'm so old the
oldies station isn't old enough) Just there are so many they can't play them all. Just this morning I woke up thinking of Blue Jay Way - another one they never play, I think George had rented a house in LA hills Bird Street neighborhood.
@@mikegalvin9801 "...I'm so old the
oldies station isn't old enough...".
You can't be Sirius, surely ?
( *sorry ☺ )
This is so amazing. Normally I like to see cover bands add something to the song, bring it out a bit, but I love you lean into it and take something already perfect and make it more perfect. Really well done.
As a long time Beatles fan, this is one of the best Beatles covers I’ve ever. Heard. The rhythm, singing , and solo playing is superb. Fantastic.
How can any words come close to conveying or expressing the beauty, talent, mastery that the two of you just blessed us with here? Wow. Just wow!
Legend has it that the devil sold his soul to Toni to learn to play the guitar like her.
Haha, a clever twist on the old adage.
Ha ha! She is wickedly good!
Excellent!
Beautiful!!!
There certainly is something supernatural about her ability. Old Nick definitely could learn something.
Love the sound of a 12 string Martin...and Toni, well what else can you say? Magnificent!
Guitars and beautiful voices are in perfect harmony and resonated with me, touching the bottom of my heart. Cant wait to hear them play another Beatles tunes
This was one of the songs I taught myself by picking the needle up off the album backing it up and starting over again my sweet mother down in the kitchen would sing it while she was making dinner . I must have played that song a million times before before I got good enough to accept my version of it that period between Beatles 65 thur Rubber Soul and Revolver was definitely some of their greatest music 🎶 thanks 🙏
Wow. Spectacular. What flying fingers guitar work while singing harmonies!
Listen to the Beatles version with McCartney doing this solo with vocals and just him playing the guitar (left handed) Even more spectacular.
Thank You both, this really cheered me up today! You remind me that there are still wonderful talented amazing people in the world.
Unbelievable how many great songs they wrote
in such a short time
I wasn't expecting this...one of my favourite songs and the guitar work was utterly immaculate.
Just finished listening to it twice. This is my favorite Beatles Bluegrass song. You guys crushed it.
That made me smile. Was in a bluegrass band and we covered that song hundreds of times. I was groovin' right along with you.
girl on the left plays SO GOOD!!!!
That is a simple song that is yet somehow difficult to play smoothly. You did a beautiful job of it and put your own touches to it as well. I really enjoyed your version.
I'm another big fan of this rockin' tune. I always thought the break was awsome. I played this version back three times and it's very good. Toni's fingers just fly(just before the smile).
Two amazing guitar pickers and singers!!! Just made my day! Absolutely love this! Thank you Reina & Toni
I just can't handle that you two can have so much talent...it's amazing.
smile on my face....hands clapping foot tapping. thank you for this.
I have played this song hundreds of times, in various bands, pretty much the Beatle's version, so I loved the spin Toni puts on the guitar work on this piece. Sang beautifully, of course.
Magnificent version, extremely well played and true to the original. The 12 string lays down such a full backing sound, and the six string picking style is just excellent. Vocals, top notch.
I’ve loved that song since it first came out when I was a little kid. You two do a beautiful job with it. I’m always amazed by your talent.
I have been binge-listening to Elle and Toni over the last few weeks; I can't get enough of you two! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful music!
You guys always capture the essence of the Beatles beauty.
I’m really loving your Sunday morning concerts. Makes my day.
Musicianship at its best. Just pure, raw, untainted talent.
This is one of your best. The sound capture is excellent and both guitars have a great tone. Good job from Toni on re-inventing the arrangements ! Coffee cheers !
My all time favourite Beatles song! You guys rock!
Vaguely remember hearing back in the day, but then I was never a big pop music fan , big band, 40s and 50s for me back then.
Very well done Thank You
I watch this pretty much everyday. I have researched Toni's guitar solo like 100 times. You all play and sing so well together, I love the harmonies. And your mic and audio setup is so crisp!
I've been dropping in to listen to you two for a couple years now. This is I think one of the best I've heard. Amazing 😄
Love the iconic intro to this number and you absolutely nailed it. The rest was pretty damn good too! 💪🏼
You ladies are just perfect together. Love the Sunday songs.
I Love These Gals! I've been a fan for a couple of years and they need to keep on keepin' on!
Sublime. And Toni’s interpretive solo is a genre mashup feast for the ears.
Excellent! Finally a Beatles song!
Love this one! Great! 👏👏👏👏👏
Toni is getting better all the time. I always look forward to Sunday's and this is the reason. Good job!!!!!
She’s amazing!!
Toni has always been great. Reina is improving her guitar abilities.
@@robertvanruyssevelt7159 Toni has always been great, and part of that greatness is that she keeps getting better.
Paul would be proud of these girls, fabulous performance!!! ❤❤
One of the underrated Paul songs. Sweet guitar work from Toni.
love the way you guys do song covers.... brilliant!
Great version of an underappreciated classic.
This version could be the Saturday evening tune!

A breeze of fresh air for the 50 years old song. Thank you!
My favorite Beatles song! Fabulous guitar solo. Thank you ladies.
You've made a lot of people happy on a Sunday morning. Good that you've chosen a Beatles number that isn't as well known as their hits, and a longer and different instrumental break in the middle to the original. I always did like the song's fast pace. Thanks Ladies. 🕉
Loved it! Those acoustics sound great. That solo Toni crafted was brilliant.
Wow I just listened yo this song again and I can't get enough
We live in a wonderful age where two talented people can film themselves in a park and entertain the rest of us... no matter where we live on this beautiful planet. Well done!
I haven’t heard this song for years but I sang along word perfectly it is ingrained in the back of my mind. Brings back many memories and you sang it beautifully as you play and sing everything. My favourite is still the Halloween song it’s amazing thanks again
Me too, know the complete lyrics.
"...I haven’t heard this song for years...".
My prescription for you is to play a Beatles album every day for the next five years. You'll be on top of the world and you'll thank me for it !
That 12-string is sounding sweet!
This sounds so great, I just listened to it 3 times in row. Great song! Great rendition!
An all time fav!! With The Beatles there are countless fav songs. Great performance Toni is a fantastic guitarist!!
Love this. I’m a big Beatles fan and you’ve made a great job of this. Superb as always ✌🏻
One of my favorite Beatles tunes! Well done!!!
I’m 61 , and grew up listening to the Beatles !
I’ve never heard this song !
What a delightful song - and you two did a stellar job !!!
It's not exactly a rarity as the opening cut on the US Rubber Soul, the best version IMO which inspired Brian Wilson. Just add Nowhere Man to your RS playlist for the perfect version.
AAAAAHHH! You really did justice to this song! So satisfying to hear your voices again! I took a break, sold my house & moved, so hearing you both again is my happy place in my new home!
Can't believe I've never heard this Beatles Ditty. What a joy to have it served to me with such joyous enthusiasm on a rainy Sunday morning by my favorite s/s duo! Your face is so expressive when you sing that your radiance alone could draw me in even on a less appealing song. But this one is super and super you are, too!
What! Omg u are missing sooo much goodness. Please get listening. ❤❤ it's off the help album but rubber soul, revolver, sgt peppers, white album and abbey road are my favourites. All the 2nd half of their career together. 👨👨💼🧔👨💼
@@debbie1060 I AM surprised that there is anyone who is not familiar with this song. The Beatles are my favorite musical repository of joy to dip into anytime I need a little boost. Enjoy, Dad!
WHAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT??????????? 🙂
Its on rubber soul. A most excellent album. Great job ladies. Nice bluegrass riffs!
@@vincemarshall9520 Close, but it's on Help!
Wunderful adaptation! Pleasantly surprised at the guitar talent and the vocals fit so well indeed.
The intro sounds exactly like the record! Thanks for demonstrating how it's done.
I'm a shut in senior staying away from a lot of danger these two always make my day better, I was lucky to see them in Portland, OR. pre-pandemic.
that was treat ,You have saved my guitar playing , which gives me a good reason to get up and go Thank you
Always a pleasure watching you two perform!!! Great job!!!
Guitar solo sounds great ! My favourite Beatles song
Juat stumbled into this channel and have browsed all your renditions since 5 years ago. Your versions are damn great.
This Beatles song goes really well with the 12 strings. Awesome
You two cheer me up ❤️love how chill you are
Fantastic, lovely harmonies! Awesome how Toni incorperated a lead and then a bass style solo
Toni to Reina is like Don Rich to Buck Owens. Sound so good together
Wow. Breathed new life into this classic.
It goes without saying that you both have buckets of rai-- I mean, buckets of talent, but something very underrated in your videos is your sense of humor. You make me smile, laugh, and crave coffee... and then you start playing and I shouldn't be surprised by now at how much I'm enjoying it! Thank you!
You BOTH nailed it. Very good, thanks again for brightening my Sunday.
Firstly, you can not go wrong choosing a Beatles song to cover. Secondly, the amount of talent you have is ridiculous
One of fans been. Playing it for years what a treat good cover
Even the squirrels went nuts for this tune! I'm gonna store it away in my favourites myself...so it will bring me musical sustenance through the winter!!!
Beautiful music ladies, one of my favourite Beatles songs, sung and played to perfection. Best wishes from England x
Underrated mccartney song. Love the country feel of the solo
Tremendous skills displayed by these ladies
You are both perfect in your musicianship and interpretation. I really felt that performance. Bless you both.
One of my Beatles favorites🙏 Your version is simply brilliant 👏👏👏 It is a real pity that none of your covers are to be streamed on Spotify. Love you both💚💚💚
More than a cover, this was also an interpretation, and an excellent one at that. From the brilliant HELP! album in 1965, full of great songs. I still (vaguely) remember when it came
out , I was 12 and this was the fifth album from the boys. Great choice ladies, and a great performance.
Fun fact, in the US this was the first song on Rubber Soul. Help was a soundtrack album with songs from the movie only, along with the film score.
@@tuckertastictk The early U.S. releases were always butchered from the originals by the record companies. You yanks didn't get the track listings the way they were intended for the rest of the world. Pity.
@@gribwitch We did eventually, when the CDs came out in 87. Some of the US albums hold up pretty well though, I think. And by the time the track listings really mattered (Sgt Pepper) the catalog was standardized.
Alternate opinion: Capital was right. This fits much better on Rubber Soul than Help.
@@tuckertastictk The UK Help! had seven songs from the movie on side 1, and seven other songs on side 2, including Yesterday. Actually, side 2 was very good.
That was absolutely brilliant.
Toni, I am in awe ! I have seen many a very good guitar player until you !!!! You I have not seen anyone play something like that so smoothly almost non human. Perfection..
I so enjoy the both of you great harmonies, guitar work and personalities !!!!!!!!
Wonderful job by amazing musicians. Great playing and singing. I love these little diddies the Beatles created. Amazing cover. So happy to have had this recommended.
Love the 12-string. Fell in love with the instrument way back in the day when I first heard Dave Mason's "We Just Disagree," in 1977, the year I turned 21.
Was excited to watch. Knew it would be great. Then you just blew me away. Thank you. What a joy to listen to you amazing ladies.
