Thank you so much for your kind words! We will see where season 2 takes us ☺️ and thanks for the recommendation!
For the season 2, i don't know if you've found all the different topics, but there are some that are maybe being interested
1 - Topics on business as we spend lots of time at work
2 - Suggestion : some episodes where you talk to another native english speaker at your normal speaking speed. I don't know it can be possible.
3 - Pronounciation
4 - Phrasal verbs : you did give us some phrasal verbs in each episode but maybe some specific episodes on phrasal verbs.
When i attend some meetings with native speakers they use it very often and most of them I've never heard or used.
Just a few suggestions, hope it can help.
Anyway thank you a lot, and thank you also for your good mood and your passion for learning english.
These are amazing ideas we will save this comment and add it to our discussions for the next season ☺️☺️
Thank you very much! It was interesting how to get back to the job
Glad you enjoyed it!
to be back into the flow and to be up to speed again does-it mean "to recover the speed before"
Yes - that's a good description.
When you were working before your work, you had a good speed and momentum in your work. During your break, you lose that speed and "flow." When you come back to work, you get back in the flow and get back up to speed again.
After finishing my work i get back into my bed and I do listen your Interesting conversation
Please make such conversation for strategies to use preposition as well❤❤
That's great! Having a routine is so important for studying!
Good morning😊 I am starting my day with your class in a subway❤

good evning can we call the three day holliday a " bridge" .that means if a day of holliday is on thursday you get a bridge for the day friday.you come back to work (grind) until monday
Good question - I've heard this phrase in other languages, but we don't say this in English. We say a "A long weekend" or "a 3-day weekend".
sometimes ,after a few days back to work, I feel the need to have one or two days out. Uselly ,it's very difficult to resume. HAVE YOU EVER FELT THAT?
Absolutely! It's definitely tricky to get back into the flow of things after a break! Sometimes I can't even remember where the buttons are on my computer!
hi thanks for great lesson. but if you add a part for practicing what you are teaching by slow speed than normal speed i think it would be better for students an you be the best youtube channel for learning inpractical way ,
Hi good morning, thank you for your feedback! You might enjoy our intermediate classes where we do just this!
Im new in this class and I need catch up with you guys.
Absolutely! We have lots of episodes for you to enjoy, thanks for joining us :)
A question please : what do you say when you ask someone at work, for any news about a topic or issue? What is the usual way?
I think some common phrases are
“Is there any news about/on… ?”
“Are there any updates on…?”
“Have there been any updates on…”
“Have you heard anything new about…”
“Could you help me with something? I’m looking for more up to date information on…”
More information on
An update on
“We ran into this issue last week, have you heard anything new since then?
All these sentences take the focus away from “you” so they make it easy to use in casual conversation at work and they feel appropriate for small talk.
I have question: what is similar expression of “familiar” since I haven’t heard that expression commonly in usual conversation.
"Familiar" can mean when we have experience with or knowledge about something before.
If you say: "Yes I am familiar with Photoshop", it means you have experience using that software.
Or in contrast if you said: "Sorry, I'm not familiar with that word". It means you have no knowledge of that word.
So when you get back into the swing of things, you get familiar with them because you are remembering your prior experience. I hope that makes sense!
I want season lesson about intermediate level plz teachers❤❤
Hi good morning! We are considering some interesting topic for our future advanced podcast but don’t worry we haven’t forgotten our intermediate students! We hope to continue those in the near future ☺️
Thanks teacher I'm waiting for you ❤❤ @highlevellistening
Do you have video on American phonemes pronunciation?
Not yet but hopefully soon
can I say "up and runnig " to be like a running brook
Good question. You can usually say: "I'm back up and running." after you get sick or you've had a problem with your computer. But personally, I wouldn't use it after a holiday. Hope that makes sense!
😍😍😍😍😍
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤🎉
🥰🥰
Hello
Hi there!
At around 6:24 time stamp, subtitles does not match to what the speakers say
Thanks for the feedback! We’ll look at it today and see if we can get it fixed.
I have been looking for spoken English channel on RUclips for last 1 year but it is the best what I have come across with so far.
Eagerly awaiting for next season.
Hope it will come out in notime
See you soon.... 😢 Hope you enjoy the break and go back full of beans... 😂
☺️☺️☺️ we sure hope so!
Past me , future me these are interesting expression😂
It's an easy person to blame for our mistakes! 🤣
good morning Kat & Mark I,m from Egypte, you,re pretty nice coupl
Thank you so much for joining us!
Hi Kat, you were explaining how you guys use "they/their" as a single pronoun/adjective, but in your sentence you were getting back to speed with your coworkerS -plural; so in that particular sentence, I didn't get the clarification about using a single pronoun.
I can't remember the exact words used, but I may have just mentioned the fact that we can use they/them for one person or multiple people and it's correct to use it in both ways :)
I may have mentioned, They're getting me up to speed. (could be one coworker could be multiple coworkers at once)
