Helpful hint for lower connection: There's a square shaped "bump" on it that faces upward toward the hood. The release button resides in the middle of it. Push on it with a short PHILLIPS HEAD screwdriver (or preferably a Phillips head socket like I used) and the connector will pop right out.
Thanks for the video. It really helped. For future users of the module, if you want to install from the top, install when the engine is cool. And use a small flat head screwdriver. Have fun!
All other switches are so easy to un click, just put a little pressure w tip of finger and they click, But I can’t do it w that one. Can’t get the click!
John Wallet, I had it for a couple of months and it worked great, you can definitely feel the extra torque, especially on third thru 6th gear nothing to crazy of course, there wasn't any change in throttle response, just more torque on every gear. But then it started to throw the EPC light, well it did it twice at full throttle during the summer, temps above 90°f. So I took it off. My friend had one on his sportwagen and had the same problem also when it was hot as he'll. He also removed it from his car. If you're looking for a piggyback I would recommend the JB4 or jb1 instead of the neuspeed, same friend with the sportwagen replaced the neuspeed with a jb1 and he's very happy with it, and hasn't had any problems with it, and also makes more power than the neuspeed. He has a video where he did some dyno runs stock, with neuspeed, and the jb1. I know it's not the same car, but it seems like most people are getting better results with the jb1(jb4) on the 2.0tsi engine than with the neuspeed. Thinking tht too .. mines just started acting up with the epc light coming on when it’s hot ass hell outside..

Lower connection was a pain, just insert small flathead thru connector slot.

What do you think about the module? I’m debating getting it for my A4.
