I watched this on syfy when it first came out and Hatter was my favorite right away. I was looking for it on dvd, cheaply, for the longest time, off and on. Finally found it last month in a Half Price Books, for a good price, and watched it last night for the first time in too many years. Hatter is still the best!

I watched this movie from 8:30 to 11 when it came on SyFy the second night. My favorite line of all, "Do I need a reason to help a girl in a very wet dress?" is absolutely awesome. I love that line. Makes me laugh every time.
I was always hopeing for another one I've always liked this version better it's quite imaginative compared to other Alice In Wonderlands I've seen and grew up over the year's and plus the movie was cast right for once. Keep the same cast that's always key !

I thought Burton's Alice movie was ass. This one was kind of weak at times, but one of the redeeming qualities was the Hatter and Alice's chemistry. (I also loved the White Knight) this was at least more interesting and original. It had a psychedelic,1960s science fiction drug trip kind of feel, and it was at least funny. Tim Burton's Alice was a lazy CG snore-fest. Plus...yes...the Hatter is a quite the hottie. lol
they really messed up the math though: Alice was ten when her dad left, it was ten years before the events of the story, so, naturally, Alice is 24 when she goes to Wonderland.
Have you seen their version of the wizard of oz. It's called the tin man I think. It was a unique version of the story. It has Zooey Deschanel. It also is a little off at times but I appreciate the creativity.
I loved Andrew Lee Potts soo much in this, but then I watched Primeval and now I prefer him as Connor. It's really strange to watch him in this again after all that Primeval!! But still, sooooo good and so cute!

Okay, saying this as a huge Johnny Depp fan, Andrew Lee Potts has really topped him as the Hatter. But in my opinion Tim Burtons version wasn't as impressive as the rest of his stuff. This movie is the time I've ever seen Andrew Lee Potts and anybody know where I can get me one of those? I think I'm in love....
