- In appalling squalls of frozen rain and with snow still clinging to the moorland peaks, 75014 makes full use of her skilled driver and sanders as well as her 25500lbs of tractive effort to make an amazingly steady and sure footed progress up the gradient towards Ipstones around Cliff Farm curve and on through Bradnop tunnel with the morning train of 02 March 2024, never once missing a beat on the wet rail head. The afternoon train was even more impressive. With clearing weather, the sound of the engine was even stronger, and after passing through the tunnel the exhaust, bouncing back from cutting and surrounding hillsides, could be felt as the engine strode on towards Apesford. The noise and atmosphere this engine produced here can not be replicated on screen, enjoy, you had to be there. It was amazing. Apologies for the focus hunting earlier in the video due to the weather conditions
