I can't believe how thoroughly you are prepared for road trips. You've got the air compressor for tires,oil,fuel,supplies etc. I'm so impressed that a young man your age is so well thought out not too many your age are too bright.

In 1996 when, I was on exchanges with the British Royal Marines, to the US Marines, one of the guys in the team I was attacked to, came from, Arizona, he took a group of us, white water rafting, we camped one of the nights, at Diamond Creek Beach. I’ve even got to do a training jump into the Grand Canyon on a field exercise. Love the makeshift funnel, to top up the oil, you just have to improvise sometime.

And BTW if you drive route 66 all the way to Chicago you pass by my childhood home in Harvey Ill. It's just up the street from the Mall they filmed the "Blues Brothers" In. Nice picks mouse too… The large steam engine no 3759. Is a heavy mountain type of the Santa Fe built by the Baldwin works in 1928, so very nearly 100 years old and she is a 4-8-4 wheel arrangement

I figured you would have to trailer that little vehicle around. Had no idea it was long drive capable. Diamond Creek in the Western Grand Canyon is spectacular. Btw: No beer or any alcohol is allowed on the Hualapai Indian Reservation.

@AdamSwords I briefly worked for a furniture company, and they had me deliver flat pack wardrobes etc in it. Fully laden, it would wallow scarily. Onè of my co workers eventually tipped it right in front of the store. It was hilarious - he opened the door like a mini submarine hatch and calmly climbed out.

Cutting out was blocked carb, the oil burning was piston rings :( $3,000 engine rebuild here I come

Please read up on the Leave No Trace principles and don't feed the animals. People who feed the animals ruins the campsites for others.
