Yuka we use for my daughters allergies and I even found what was causing my eyes to be puffy on it. Definitely worth the 10 pound a year and some products are scary once you start scanning, all the ingredients and the fact people don't replace when should such as mascara is 3 months from opening x
First, I want to say that I think you are a great mom and you’ve inspired me in so many ways as a mother and a person. I’ve watched your videos for many years and really enjoy your content. Second, I love that you are embarking on this wellness journey. It is so important to prioritize and work on your own health for yourself and as an example of self love/care for your kids. I just wanted to give you my unsolicited advice (so feel free to take or leave it) as a primary care doc in the US. While tracking our health whether it’s calories, macros, steps, or sleep, can be a useful tool to gather information about our general state of health and what we may need to work on, it can also be exhausting, make us more anxious, and prevent us from just listening to our own bodies. If these things make you feel better and give you a sense of control over your own health then great! But please don’t feel as if you’ve failed if not every day is perfect; and please don’t blame yourself if health issues beyond your control still arise despite putting in the work to keep yourself well. TLDR: love you, live well, but most importantly, do what makes you happy bc we don’t have as much control (over anything!) as we think we do.
I’m 41 and have also been taking extra care of myself a lot more lately. I started taking evening primrose oil tablets when I was 15 years old to help balance out my periods. I have had 7 children and have always mentioned to various doctors that I take it and they have all said how great it is for women. I also had a breast lump scare a few years back which turned out to be a gland, but the Dr asked me if I took anything and I told him about the EPO, he said he wished all woman took it as it is so great for breast health too ! So I never fail to take it daily now. Xx
Have watched since you were pregnant with Jackson. I was pregnant with my oldest son. I now have 2 boys. I always love your encouragement and especially how you talk about your boys and the intention you put into your relationship with them. Going to try the 20 min thing!
The Oura ring is amazing.....I gifted it to myself on my 40th bday and have had it for over a year and LOVE it. We take care of so many other people, it feels like my ring is looking out for me 😊
Hi Emily! I honestly take you as a sign from God for inspiration. So grateful to know you and watch your amazing videos. I’ve been taking higher dosage of iron supplements about 200mg per day. I was advised by boots pharmacist about the dosage. Also higher dosage of vit b complex. I have felt a massive difference in my energy and hair health. Also taking magnesium glycinate helps with the restless legs at night. I believe women’s health is so complicated that we need more of everything when it comes to nutrition. Ps could you please share your favourite podcast on health please.
Hi, could you share what company did you use for the glucose and gut health test? And also, what snacks do you now use for the kids for school etc with minimal sugar? Thanks
I've not watched your videos for so long but everytime I watch it, its super useful and end up buying things I didn't think I needed 🥰. Can't wait to try my natural deodorant. Thanks Emily, you are looking great

Hello emily, i am a doctor and i do not recommend taking vitamin b12 along with vitamin C. Its better to have a bit of time gap between these two! Anyways, love your videos 🙌🏻
Maybe think about how you can get the extra supplements from your diet, as mother nature intended, not a pill, I'm 42 and I've changed my diet massively to improve my nutrient intake🎉

I’ve heard of the US testing sites but I’d love a good recommendation for somewhere in the uk. Thank you for another amazing video. X
Hi, I have Oura ring and it's amazing. It tracks my sleep, period, ovulation, steps, cardiovascular age, tells your tempreture. Expensive but totally worth it. Also I get 2x more steps then my phone used to track 💪😁
Interesting vlog. I take Vitamin D Magnesium Zinc and a Vitamin B complex also a codliver oil capsule and have a glass of Berroca and only drink decaf coffee and attempt to drink plenty of water throughout the day 🤫 I imagine this all helps with keeping me reasonably healthy. @@mrsemilynorris Thanks Emily! Yuka isn't available here. I can find apps like PureCheck and Nutri-Scan, but I'm not sure they are as good. Will take a look! 💕
Hi Emily! Lovely to see a nice long video again 😊 who was the doctor you mentioned when you talked about spending 20 minutes with your child doing what they want to do? I couldn’t find him on Instagram. Thanks!
Hi Emily, if you're trying to cut out sugar watch out for white rice...150g is equivalent to a whopping 10tsp of sugar! Just came to mind when seeing your chicken recipe. Vit D is found to be low in many people but one needs to be careful of the dose they take. Too much can lead to toxic levels as well, best to always check the dose that's best for one's needs before dosing. Just saying generally of course, I'm sure you've checked with your doctor :)
I've cut out sugar 😮 I have also just found that I'm low in vitamin D 😮 I've actually been prescribed tablets. It's all very fascinating to find all this out as we are ageing.
I feel like a fibre supplement could be worth considering if the 25g a day is hard to get with your diet alone. Personally, I’d suggest a powder so you also get an extra glass of water, and you can also get sugar free ones.
Ocuvite eye vitamins are good for your eyes. Eating spinach, greens, kale, tuna, pumpkin, carrots, salmon or tuna is good for your eyes also. Venison is good for iron and protein. It's also almost fat free. I take eye vitamins, vitamin D, and iron. Your blue light glasses look cute on you. Take care. ,💖
I meant to say the app that I used to check the toxicity of products is called 'Yuka' in the UK and there's one called 'Think Dirty' in the US xx
Yuka we use for my daughters allergies and I even found what was causing my eyes to be puffy on it. Definitely worth the 10 pound a year and some products are scary once you start scanning, all the ingredients and the fact people don't replace when should such as mascara is 3 months from opening x

I feel like a fibre supplement could be worth considering if the 25g a day is hard to get with your diet alone. Personally, I’d suggest a powder so you also get an extra glass of water, and you can also get sugar free ones.
Ok great I will look into this x
Ocuvite eye vitamins are good for your eyes. Eating spinach, greens, kale, tuna, pumpkin, carrots, salmon or tuna is good for your eyes also. Venison is good for iron and protein. It's also almost fat free. I take eye vitamins, vitamin D, and iron. Your blue light glasses look cute on you. Take care. ,💖
