Those of y’all hating on Dak need to understand that there is not anything better than him available, not will there be. And he’s a damn good QB regardless of the hate he gets.
Defense got us killed by Green Bay. When you’re down 3 TD’s so quickly, GB knows you gotta get yards in chunks and pass the ball. Dak is as under-appreciated as Romo was. Both are/were very good QB’s. I’m old enough to remember Aikman retiring and having to suffer through the Ryan Leaf, Quincy Carter years and that shit sucked. We lose Dak, that’s where we are headed. There’s a good receiver core here, a decent O-line. Running game has to get better and so does the run defense. Sign your QB now and that’s one thing you don’t have to worry about.
If not, screw it. Back to the early 2000’s again.

while you're correct that there's no one else available that's better than Dak. Don't put that Green Bay game solely on the defense. They were out-coached and gassed by halftime. With all those 3 and outs and interceptions that Dak gave up that could've easily busted the momentum. Yall need to start holding Dak accountable and stop going off stats that were against mediocre or bad defenses. During big games or teams that's decent he folds up and that's why people are pissed and fed up!

All of our stars played like trash against GB but the coaching was trash too! Dak is good but they expect too much from him. We can't be a pass only team with one star receiver.

@@danellebarnette6380 You’re not 100% wrong. Especially about the coaching and game plan. But Dak is held accountable. He’s held more accountable than ANY QB. How many teams go 12-5 three years in a row or less, get bounced early in the playoffs and hear all the QB criticism? Just Dak. I get why. When you wear the Star on your helmet it’s just different.
But that GB game was just an all out beat down. Nothing was working. Dak wasn’t great but I’ll defend him some because of some very untimely and uncharacteristic dropped passes that killed drives too. Could never get in a rhythm. And before they knew it they were down 3 scores and GB smelled blood in the water and just pinned their ears back on D.

@@tyrellbrown8753 bruh I'm a realist when it comes to our team. I was never with Zeke being let go knowing Tony Pollard struggles with yards after contact and coming back from that nasty injury. Dallas is too political when it comes to their personnel. Which is why some players leave us and shine because we're too busy focused on the known stars to make certain stats and not use the people we have who teams don't have a real gameplan against. There's no way we have Turpin and Cooks with that speed and they don't make defenses respect it. I'm sending one deep every play with routes designed underneath it. Either they respect the speed or get cooked deep. It's chess not checkers we need to get back to real football and stop trying to make Dak something that didn't get him here in the first place!

Yeah I get all the hoopla about Dak Prescott being a good quarterback and all believe me I was on his bandwagon when we drafted him however the last 7 years he hasn't showed me s***except for the fact that yeah he broke and set some records but let's be honest every GOOD quarter back in history has broken and set records but only a small handful of them own Superbowl rings. That's the difference between great players and mediocre money players. You can be an elite quarterback with the world's strongest arm and bionic legs but if everyone's not on the same page EVERY game time then it's not going to work. The Green Bay Packers who we should have beaten last year showed that to us first hand. I don't know about you all but Dak DID NOT show up in that game until the second half when he realized he was getting his ass handed to him. First half he threw what three interceptions and missed CeeDee a few times. Under thrown, over thrown, sometimes we didn't even know who he was throwing the ball to forcing passes and crap!!! Him and Ceedee even had words about it on the sidelines during the game. The fact of the matter is Dallas didn't show up in that game point blank and Dak Prescott led the charge. Yeah it's cool the man makes 160 million and all which in my opinion is too much. The man is a millionaire but for what so we could get a glimpse of the playoffs and try to remember what it felt like back in the nineties when Dallas and Ol' Troy ruled the NFL world with back to back Superbowl wins. I miss those days but I long for them now too!! That's the difference between today's players and players back then. It didn't matter when you played them BOY'S back then the fans and the opposing team knew that they came to play and they came to win because they only wanted one thing to hoist that Lombardi trophy. There wasn't any of this bull crap about who's making the most money and he's making more than me so I'm not gonna play hard until it comes. You never heard hardly anything like that back in the day unless they were talking about somebody like Deion Sanders or Michael Irvin or some other elite player like that, a stand out player. The one who rises above the rest. The one who does his job right every time he's on the field not because he makes a shit ton of money but bc of the love for the game and the desire to be world Champions. The money is just a bonus it only proves that you're a standout player capable of being a Champion the world needs. The one that proves he's worth the payday should be the only one wearing super bowl rings while enjoying all the love and support that comes with it from die hard fans . Troy aikman didn't make as much as Dak back in the day by far and he's got 3 rings to show for it. It's not the money that makes them great it's the drive and willingness to be great within themselves. The love for the game that's been the number one driving force paving the way for most football players since childhood. A lot of Today's players seem to only shine long enough to get paid then it's all down hill from there. They don't care if they win or lose they don't care what team they play for or if they have a championship at all. It's about which team has the biggest bank account. The money makes their world go round that's what makes them tick on and off of the field the drive and eagerness to be a Champion, the need to be great in everyone's eyes was obviously lost along with the love they had for the game somewhere along the way. I understand the need to make money. We all need security but paying these mediocre quarterbacks and wide receivers and running backs millions and millions of dollars is beyond me especially when they've done played half their career in the NFL and haven't accomplished a damn thing but a signed contract guaranteeing a super bowl that never comes!!! In my personal opinion if I was the owner of one of those teams not a damn one of those so-called superstars would get any kind of a big payday until I started getting some big accomplishments on the field. Proof that you're worth all those millions. Seriously think about it. Tom Brady won his first super bowl before he even got a contract same with Mahommes. Now look at them, they both have multiple Superbowls and have only signed one contract well aside from Brady signing with the buccaneers but still. The man has been a millionaire for many years and was still winning super bowls. Why, not because somebody made him do it but because he loves the game he loves the thrill of victory. The thrill of pulling together as a team and conquering what I'm guessing some players considered inconceivable, those super bowl rings!!! The Troy Aikman s, Tome Brady's, Micheal Irvins, Brett Favres, Troy polamalu's, and Emmitt Smiths of this new era of football are few and far between. It's hard to tell what their paying money for nowadays. There's no consistency anymore winning games consecutively. One game they come out playing like nothing else matters but the win then the next three games are close call losses or their just decimated completely. If they want to be paid like millionaires they should play like it then and Dak Prescott is one of the key quarterbacks in this position. He's good, not Great, and he's had plenty of time to prove his worth. Honestly the longer he's with our team the more he starts reminding me of Tony Romo. Consistent then inconsistent. And he can't get past 12 wins in regular season. Bottom line is we need a super bowl, like yesterday thirty years ago. If Dak doesn't show us that trophy this year I pray to God they get rid of him and let Trey Lance get to work. I mean something's got to give. #DC4L 🤙
