Dude is really good. He just needs experience and some more good players around him. I look forward to seeing where he ends up and how good he becomes.
You can't give him an A based on the fact that he has barely played. Granted, he is showing very good signs but we have to see if he is consistent and learns throughout the season.
When people said "Caleb Williams is going into the best situation for a rookie QB" they only focused on the skill position players he was given and overlooked the things which truly matter: coaches and offensive line play. Eberflus has shown many times that he doesn't maximize the talent of his players and the Bears O-Line is a patchwork of journeymen, inherited picks, low draft picks, and Darnell Wright. He's shown flashes of his tremendous upside, but is limited by his coaching. My grade: B
This is true AF. Yes, he has an absolute embarrassment of riches for targets. Between Odunze, Moore, and Allen, he has 3 awesome WRs who all offer something different, and are at different points in their careers. Even his TE room in Kemet and Everett is very good in terms of receiving potential, and Swift being a solid pacey RB means he has help in his backfield. But his line is trash, he can't hold the ball long enough to let routes develop from in the pocket, and is constantly running or taking sacks. I think O line upgrades are a must this offseason for the bears. I'd still give him a B minus possibly, but maybe a B by seasons end. They should have lost a couple of those games he won, and not for reasons he influenced in a good way (think the titans game for example)
The line was really good last year when healthy, PFF had them borderline top 10 in the preseason. Unfortunately the line has been decimated by injuries and darnell wright hasnt made the leap we expected.
I'd give Caleb Williams a C or C+. When he's looked bad, he's looked really bad. But he's been improving. What is clear is that the Bears are possibly the worst coached team in the nfl.

Marvin Harrison Jr is the issue of being better than the QB play. Here's a fun one, MHJ is #2 in the league in win rate vs Man Coverage. He has a better win rate there than Drake London. And maybe it's route running, where he needs to be told to shift his route into curls or comebacks when Kyler starts scrambling as he has seen many wide open moments but Kyler is throwing shallow after he scrambles instead of to the open MHJ. Either way, man is good at getting open, not as good at being seen while he's wide open.

Their OL was top 5 in both winrate metrics last year and was ranked 11th overall by PFF in preseason. They were damn good last year when healthy. This year the line has been decimated by injuries and had some unexpected regression.
Broncos fan here as well. Watching Bo Nix get better week after week with an overall weak supporting cast has been awesome. Lets beat the Chiefs this week!
Not really sure where Nix having a bad supporting cast came from. While the WR and RB room are below average the Broncos have the 2nd best o-line according to PFF. I believe the defense is also top 5 in the league.
49ers RG Dominick Puni Rnd. 3 Pick, has I believe the highest PFF Rating Score out of All Offensive Rookies if I'm not mistaken. That's higher than any QBs, RBs, WRs, etc.
If you're looking for a rookie who will not give up sacks against Myles Garret and T.J. Watt... it's going to be a long wait. You probably should be satisfied with not giving multiple sacks to guys at that level.
ngl i thought the jets should've taken bowers. in my mind they're all in on this year and maybe next, so why not go get a guy who can make a massive impact now, and for the next decade, instead of a guy who needs a lot of development.
I mean Morgan Moses and Tyron Smith were some of the most injury prone Tackles in the league so it wasn’t a bad idea planning for one of them to go down
I honestly don’t think Marvin Harrison’s stats are fair. When we look at malik, there is no one else worth giving the ball to. In the cardinals, there is a strong run game a several other WRs worth getting targets Also, the standard I heard for him were 1400 yds and 10 tds. Good fucking lord.
Bears have a top5 defense, three potential number 1 receivers and Kmet. They are loaded and look like a less than average team. Tough to understand what’s happening. I do think Caleb holds the ball too long but they still should be better.
Finally I saw a video like this that gave MHJ a C+ the Cardinals needed a wr so bad and I still believe he’s better than nabers he’s just not the whole game plan cause of how good Cardinals running game is
I don't think he's better than nabers but I do think he's better than I thought he would be I see him as a top 10 receiver I just think nabers will be a top five receiver unfortunately cuz my commander's have to see him twice a year for the foreseeable future
He said it in the video. He’s a 12th pick with 1st pick skill position his #1 wr would be #2 on every other team. They have the worst te group in the league and bottom 10 running back room. He is playing very good for a rookie with those things
I said this when they picked him I think Bo nix will be a good but not great quarterback but with the broncos defense and if they can get him some good receivers that's all they'll need him to be to have success
@@mopinggoku4708 Nix also has a top pass blocking oline and one of the best coaches ever also Sutton would be the best wr on multiple teams, Broncos fans talk like Nix is playing with the patriots weapons and oline
Caleb Willams in my opinion is a better pure qb this was than Jayden Daniel’s the problem is the bears right now are on their 3 and 4th string o-linemen another problem is the fact Waldron refuses to utilize Cole Kmet and for some reason the thinks the bears have the capacity to successfully complete a screen pass, we aren’t the dolphins, ravens or chiefs they do not have a speedster or the blockers to successfully carry out a screen pass. I believe if the bears get some better o-linemen and start utilizing their speed playmakers to fullest that they could become contenders, they have the defense for though they should get another edge rusher and one more big bodied dt and on the offensive side they have two good o-linemen and a very good receiving core on paper. If the bears can do what they have not been able to do over the years and protect the best qb they can and will make the playoffs eventually.
If I had to give him a grade I would give him a B maybe a C+ but we have to take coaching into consideration too cuz Matt eberflus is definitely not doing that young man any favors
As a Bears fan, my vote was for Justin Fields + "The Haul," but I still think Williams is going to be special. I don't think Ryan Poles gets any kind of award for choosing the consensus best prospect since Trevor Lawrence though. Would have much rather had Alt than Odunze, but that choice wasn't available. Odunze was a great pick at that spot. Maybe they should have traded back from #8 and drafted a center instead?
That’s what I thought. Maybe traded back with the Jets and taken Olu or even further back and taken Fuaga or Fautanu since both could play guard or tackle.
Way too easy of a grading scale, B+ given to several players with uneven performances, and was there even anyone under a C+? Although, everyone anyways loved the teacher who gave the whole class an A 😂
Drake Maye has been much more impressive that the other QBs in the draft 🤷♂️ it’s literally facts he’s 22 and has a much worse offense around him than the other QBs
bo nix gets a A- but Maye gets a B are you deadass maye has been carrying a god awful team while Nix is getting carried by his defense and having 2 good drives a game
Caleb just isn't an NFL QB, he only plays well against NCAA and 1-win offenses. He should have a D grade at most...no amount of O-Line help is going to get to have more than 1 receiver in his progression. He is like a weaker/faster version of Jamarcus Russel
How on earth is Bo Nix a A-? His qb rating is in the 70's. That is bad. Sure he has shown signs of growth, but A- should be reserved for guys producing well, not qb ratings in the 70's
no idea hes had a few good games this year and even then they weren't nothing crazy and almost all of his wins are from the defense truly remarkable how people are so wrong about Nix

49ers RG Dominick Puni Rnd. 3 Pick, has I believe the highest PFF Rating Score out of All Offensive Rookies if I'm not mistaken. That's higher than any QBs, RBs, WRs, etc.
5:42 it feels so weird to have a good first round pick I hope we get bowers shedeur in the draft next year
I'm betting you get Cam Ward
If you're looking for a rookie who will not give up sacks against Myles Garret and T.J. Watt... it's going to be a long wait. You probably should be satisfied with not giving multiple sacks to guys at that level.
Caleb is easily the most over hyped prospect ever.
Naw, that award goes to Tevoor Lawrence.’l Li
ngl i thought the jets should've taken bowers. in my mind they're all in on this year and maybe next, so why not go get a guy who can make a massive impact now, and for the next decade, instead of a guy who needs a lot of development.
Let’s be honest Rodger wouldn’t have thrown to him
I mean Morgan Moses and Tyron Smith were some of the most injury prone Tackles in the league so it wasn’t a bad idea planning for one of them to go down
Fashanu's grade is ao generous/inflated to protect your pre-draft takes
Thank you Adam!
Can you include Keon Coleman?
I honestly don’t think Marvin Harrison’s stats are fair. When we look at malik, there is no one else worth giving the ball to.
In the cardinals, there is a strong run game a several other WRs worth getting targets
Also, the standard I heard for him were 1400 yds and 10 tds. Good fucking lord.
Bears have a top5 defense, three potential number 1 receivers and Kmet. They are loaded and look like a less than average team. Tough to understand what’s happening. I do think Caleb holds the ball too long but they still should be better.
Calebs time to throw is average, he doesn't hold the ball forever like fields. The problem is coaching and oline play.
Overall, this seems like a solid group so far. No major flops really.
Jayden Daniels A+? More like A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++. I have never seen a rookie quarterback do absolutely nothing wrong.
Until he looked like trash vs Eagles
I complete agree with everything you said about my bears
Hopefully they turn to 2 A+s eventually
They will time has two great mentors and Caleb will force the bear to get the HC and OC right or he’ll rightfully press for a trade unfortunately
Jayden Daniel is the real deal. Bears lost again!!!
24 hours later this video needs an update :)
I think it’s clear that Nabers is a cut above MHJ.
As a Bears fan, I think all bears draft picks are fine to good. However they will always be held back by Eberflus.
Let’s Go!
Steelers over Commanders this week, Baby!
Appreciate you and all your hard work, bro
I hope not but it's obvious what team I'm a fan of but I think it will be a really good game
@ I think Nabers ceiling is higher than Marvs but I think Marv is more of a consistent player
An A+ for a Raiders 1st Round draft pick. What year is it? Not even Khalil Mack has this much of an rookie impact (I'll never forgive Gruden)
Caleb will be fine
6:29 Mike McDonald? You mean Tomlin homie
So Byron Murphy is a new age Casey Hampton
I’ll sumarize… B+
That’s an insanely generous grade for bo nix
He said it in the video. He’s a 12th pick with 1st pick skill position his #1 wr would be #2 on every other team. They have the worst te group in the league and bottom 10 running back room. He is playing very good for a rookie with those things
just say you haven’t watched a broncos game.
Nah i thought i would never say this but the broncos are genuinely a good football team 😭
Caleb will improve if he ever gets some protection
That’s RIGHT
Love seeing Bo at A-
Should be a C- or lower.
@@junemac7515 casual fan as usual.
@@Viborita95 you’re mad at facts, son. Stop.
caleb williams is a B+ right now
jayden daniels is a A+ currently
B+ 😂😂😂😂
B- is already EXTREMELY generous for Caleb
@joomo1944 whats your grade on him C+?
If I had to give him a grade I would give him a B maybe a C+ but we have to take coaching into consideration too cuz Matt eberflus is definitely not doing that young man any favors
I agree with all these except Maye. He is easily a B+
He’s easily an D or lower.
@@junemac7515why are you replying on every Drake Maye comment? You obviously have something out for him 😂
@@junemac7515dolphins fan 🫵🫵
@@austinsmith7731 why are you mad at facts?
@@junemac7515 How is your opinion a "fact" you don't understand the difference moron.
I get your point with regards to drafting back, but there wasn’t really a clear Lindenbaum/Ragnow type of center prospect to trade back for
@@FR-nc3vb I liked JPJ a lot, and he was very "gettable." He hasn't (so far) been as special as he looked, so maybe that would have been a bad move.
@@thevoxdeus True. Zach Frazier looks way better and he was picked in the second round
That’s what I thought. Maybe traded back with the Jets and taken Olu or even further back and taken Fuaga or Fautanu since both could play guard or tackle.
Drake Maye grade is criminal
Yeah it should be WAY lower.
I agree. I'd say A-
@@junemac7515 That's just plain retarded!
He's going to get the Andrew luck treatment and end up being ruined by injuries.
"hes the only bright spot on this team, B"... a rookie whos played 4 games.. if hes the best part of the team already that grade is definitey low lol
Wish the bengals would’ve taken bowers
You need defensive help more than anything
Best football channel by far
Way too easy of a grading scale, B+ given to several players with uneven performances, and was there even anyone under a C+? Although, everyone anyways loved the teacher who gave the whole class an A 😂
Drake Maye has been much more impressive that the other QBs in the draft 🤷♂️ it’s literally facts he’s 22 and has a much worse offense around him than the other QBs
How about those chiefs
There’s no way you gave Maye a B he’s easily been a A- no better no worse his team blows and he still looks like josh Allen but faster
Jayden Daniels is better than Caleb Williams!!!
Why have you reverted to going 16-1 then 32-17? The other way made mores sense
Caleb Williams - C-. He was the #1 overall, can’t miss prospect, that can’t throw with accuracy or a deep ball. C- may be generous.
bo nix gets a A- but Maye gets a B are you deadass maye has been carrying a god awful team while Nix is getting carried by his defense and having 2 good drives a game
Caleb just isn't an NFL QB, he only plays well against NCAA and 1-win offenses. He should have a D grade at most...no amount of O-Line help is going to get to have more than 1 receiver in his progression. He is like a weaker/faster version of Jamarcus Russel
This may actually be one of the dumbest takes ive ever read lmao
"The flashes were there" goes on to list a whos who of the worst teams in the league
Dolphins!!! 🤘
