Let's hold each other accountable and share your project ideas below 👇🏽
I just wanted to let y’all know that you mean so much to me. Ever since i was 7 my parents told me what i had to be( a pediatric surgeon ). And all i want to do is see the world. I’ve been slowly introducing them to van life through your videos and you’re really opening their minds. I’m of course still going to college so that gives them more security. But thank you for being so free-spirited and real and really allowing them to see how happy you are and the places you’ve gone so they can see me fulfilling my dream of seeing the world. Love y’all!!
I am in a similar boat as you, and slowly with this pandemic, my mom is seeing that we could lose a life at any time and we should be able to travel and enjoy life and slow down for a moment, i have been talking to her alot about van life, and actually yesterday we went mountain biking and i saw a vanlife guy and got so excited, and told my mom to come see it, they guy was super and chill and my mom thinks the idea is super awesome, i potentially might join van life! and i cant wait!
MedievalMinecrafters yay! so excited for you!! i hope are able to join van life one day and maybe we’ll meet at a van life meetup haha! good luck on your journey!
Aneira, think how wonderful it will be when you become a Pediatrician and are able to help children as you travel the world. Not only will you enjoy adventures of seeing new places and meeting new people, but you will also leave behind all the goodness you were able to provide the children, and relieve the anxiety of worried parents. Get a good education first, and it will 'open the door' to anyplace in the world you want to go.
Guys, guys. As someone who is a musician, a tradesmen who uses powertools on a regular basis, AND a gun lover, please protect your ears. ESPECIALLY when you're using tools in a small metal box. You can't avoid wearing things in/on your ears, but you do get to choose whether it's going to be hearing protection now, or a hearing aid that you're stuck with the rest of your life. Good on you for the eye protection though. It's worth it.
At 61 I have no intention of ever doing this, but I find your videos so interesting. Thank you so much for sharing fellow Canadians. I enjoy your videos so much. ~ Shelly from Nova Scotia.
Ok even more respect for Eamon how he empowered Becc to cut the boards herself, go team work!!! Love that, so wonderful!!! Good job u 2 i just finished building my van out n my dad did many tasks that he wouldn't show or teach me n it bummed me out....but i did learn alot on my own.

THE WHOLE MILWAUKEE FUEL KIT?! 😭 I’m getting emotional for you that’s amazing
Dear Eamon and Bec, you have been one of our inspirations these last months, when we discovered you and other vanlifers... Seeing you and others build your vans, live and travel while working, enjoy a simple life has ignited our desire for a change. My husband and I have decided to give it a try and over the last months, we have bought a van, started the renovation, created a website, a logo and are slowly planning to start videos.... (this of course while taking lessons on how to create videos with sound etc... on RUclips...). Our main subjects will be the new van life experience and golf! We are Belgian and plan, when lockdown ends, to travel and share these passions with others. When we retire (yes, old but not enough yet...) we plan to make it our way of life. Any way, what I'm trying to say is Thank you. And stay tuned. We'll be soon on line. Enjoy your new project and van. Cheers, Dame Béa and Dom
You guys are so right about the benefits of having a project right now (even though seriously limited access to building materials must be SO challenging). The van is looking awesome - love the fans. Thank you for taking us along. Stay safe and be sure to make room for play!! Oh, and Bob 15:50 - star of the show...either him or the tools:)
Love this! I can't wait to buy my first van once lockdown is lifted in the UK 🙏 One comment, I work in a wood workshop and just wanted to say Bec PLEASE make sure your hair is in a bun when using power tools 😭 Love you guys so much and would hate for anything bad to happen!xxxx
Good advice, especially as Eamon puts his hair up. BTW, am in the UK too and we hope to convert a minivan later this year/next year for part-time travelling. I desperately want a high top SWB van but we can't get one on our parking stand grrrrr 🤐🤐
What I love about you guys is that you guys are so equal it’s not just the man that is doing all the work also the woman is doing the work and I love it
I'm just in the planning/budgeting/design stages of my own van rn and as a fellow tall person, I love your idea for strapping the ceiling that way! Gotta say, this is the happiest I've seen the pair of you for several episodes now. That Milwaukee delivery really did add some Fuel, eh? ;)
You guys are killing it. You work all day on your van, then i'm sure in the evenings you edit these AMAZING videos, AND you run a tea business. And you fit in workouts... Truly inspirational.
Its the Nomadic movement and Eamon & Bec That I always watch. All you guys go for it... If it works or it doesn't we see it ..with lots of energy !!!. Super Job G.T.
I absolutely love Milwaukee's tools (all I've used since college) but the fact they gave you guys a bunch of tools makes me love you (and them) even more!!!
@@BricksofHappiness Hello Bricks of Happiness, it's alright as shopping has calmed down mostly with not so much panic buying and getting exercise is alright with still being able to go out and everyone mainly keeps their distance although the government is completely lying getting 100000 tests a day but other than that it's fine.
I like that Bec got her chance to get involved..I love diy too. I built my Daughter a sand bench following a RUclips video..No fancy electric saw though ..all hand sawn ...still can't believe I did that on my own..I used the wood from our old double bed so was glad to upcycle it all xx
Would love to hear more about how the idea of "We're going to live in Max and Lee's van" was so short lived, and you decided on an apartment/conversion instead.
@@Blucamels Thanks. Could be, but wouldn't they have thought of that before they began moving their stuff into M&L's van? After all, they had already quarantined for two weeks, so surely the thought of "where to shower" had come up. Just curious why the move in, only to move out so suddenly. Maybe it was the cold weather. I know Eamon was installing a heater, but I don't recall the outcome of the install. Maybe I missed a post.
You Folks are doing things completely proper. doing it right with all the tool kit and stuff im jeallous when i was doing my conversion mine was a budget job took me ages. and now this is making me think of starting over.
Oh yeah, I think "we" need an extended compilation vid of the the fellow dancing alongside the van plus a sister vid of y'all learning it and doing it, you know, for teaching the rest of us how to do it. It is such a happy time!!! Another uplifting and fun compilation would be one of the different dances you've done -- besides being entertaining, they could be a good cardio workout base.
I started following you guys when you got stuck in Morocco during the lock down (I’m half Moroccan). I have always been interested in van life. I just want to let you guys know I have really been enjoying your videos. I’m very keen to see how you guys get on with your new van build and I think it’s really cool that you guys set up a successful tea business together. Love the positivity, good vibes and great people. Probably the best van lifers I have watched on RUclips. Keep up the good work! I wish you guys the best of luck.
You two are moving and grooving. It’s so nice to see this build and how secure you are with experience under your belts. I will be painting my living room and finally hanging a gallery wall of sunset photos found on my sister’s phone when she passed in unexpected 3.5 years ago. I am so excited!
Bec is such a carnival of emotions, I love it haha nervous about the police, pissed at the car that splashed her, and excited about what was probably going on, all in the same minute!
Cool to see you guys and Max doing the same thing in parallel! Love the positive energy! ❤︎ Jõudu! (that basically means strenght to your work, in estonian)
He’s soooo happy! Look at all those beautiful tools! Go Milwaukee! Your Milwaukee dreams came true Eamon! Yayyyyyy! 😊🙌🏻🎉 Love seeing your guys enthusiasm during this rough time! Cant wait for the rest of the series!! ❤️
Watching you guys build out a new van makes us want to build out another van haha! I wonder what we would do differently. We definitely would not decide to build it in the Miami summer heat.. 😂 Love you guys! Always stoked to see your next video
Love you guys, but that Friday, Saturday, Sunday video is my new favourite thing! That fan is killer, great job, guys. Can't wait to see the final buildout. Have a great week!
Bec...rocking the Table Saw 🙌🏼, dressed like Cat Woman at her day job, so awesome! Eamon I don’t think EVER looked so happy before! 😍 And good ole’ Bob bringing the comedy relief! 😂 3 amigos working their magic! ☘️🇮🇪 And boy did that video go by fast!
You guys are a huge inspiration to me! I am saving up to build a van in grade 12 before i go off to college so that way I don't have to live in a dorm!
Absolutely love sipping coffee on Sunday mornings and watching your videos! I can’t wait untill I can build a van of my own but I’m living vicariously through you both for now!
Evening Eamon&Bec, wow... A pallet full of toys.. That's like every diyers dream right there! And one of the best products out there here too, bet you both had a great time using them! Loving the build so far and seeing your excitement grow with each strip or wood set in place. Health@Happiness 2U both! Stay Safe, Stay Well.
Happy Sunday! Go Bec, you did great with the power tools! Also, your tips (about reinforcing heavy traffic areas, etc.) are very helpful. Until next week, friends!
Thanks for tuning in Corinne! I've really been enjoying this DIY project during this time! The perfect project to keep busy 💜. Hope you find a great hands-on project to tackle too x
I was just re-watching Bob's van build and saw something you might want to remember as you do your new build out. Don't forget you liked his lights in his overhead cupboards 🤓
I cannot wait to see the van finished!! You guys have great ideas and are so good at this! I’m sure it’s easier so many vans later; knowing what you need and don’t need. Great job thus far!!
So great following along with these videos! Pretty cool how you guys made the wood bend to fill the roof space, I bet every cm counts when living in a van!
Thanks for coming along for the ride guys! Yes, definitely! And when it comes to floor and ceiling strapping etc we try to really maximize the cms so Eamon can stand up comfortably!
So I have been a long time follower of you guys. I am currently in the middle of Flipping a Home in Buffalo New York and back when the pandemic started I ordered new tools from Milwaukee and pretty much had the same reaction as Eamon when they arrived, I tracked the package for days and my wife was laughing whenever I would check! Congrats.
Great to see you guys so happy building another van. I am about 2/3 through my Renault Trafic build. BTW - a level is of NO use in a van build as the van is not level. I hope you were doing this for giggles. Looking forward to the next videos. UPDATE! - Can't help but notice that when Bec used the chop saw that it throws sawdust up and out of the rear. If you connect a hose to that and then down to a container you won't need to sweep up. I recommend clear hose in case it ever gets blocked and you can then see where the blockage is. Had a proper LOL moment at 13:47 when you said "Hold it! Thumbnail" and Bec obliged.
Another fantastic episode E&B. Just so you know, not only have you guys inspired us to start a youtube channel of our own, but now we're also racing you while you fit out your van to get us motivated fitting out our boat! Thought we had a chance until Milwaukee turned up! Thanks to you both from across the pond.
I am loving what you guys are doing with the van, can't wait to see the finished product. Also, its Sundayyyy...Monday Tuesday!! Lol. I think I smiled throughout this entire video. Thank you!!
Thanks Mireille! Can feel like progress is slow in these stages as the foundation, wiring etc take a lot of time without big, physical results but we're happily chugging along 😊
We have been working on our Sprinter today, lock down has been great for that as I have no work to do, I'm a Marine Electrician. I think I am a solid month away from (sort of) completing, then I can concentrate on the boat as I have a few jobs to do before we can put that on the market. Made a real difference now as the 240v is wired in and 300w of solar is keeping our 260Ah batteries topped up. Just had lunch so we will sit down and watch your vid. Keep up the good work.
Great job on the fans. One heads up for use on the grinder. Where ever sparks land on the paint could be a rust spot down the road. The sparks burn the paint. Jig saw little slower but no sparks. Great job and great ideas I’ll be using in our future build.
@@eamonandbec Can I just say how cool it is that you guys take the time to comment on so many posts! Most vlogs I watch barely comment to even one person.
The van built is looking good guys, keep it up, Eamon all excited about his tools and Bec cutting away too cool. Bob wearing that mop on his head that was so hilarious got me cracking up just need to dance 'The Mop Dance' there is a song about that, can't wait for the next one. Great job guys!
I love y’all’s positive energy and just happiness that’s why i love to watch your channel. No matter what kind of day I’m having coming here to watch y’all always makes my day!!
Love starting my day slowly in bed with a cup of coffee and realizing you posted a new video. Millions of videos to wake my brain but I’m the most excited when you or Max put out a build or travel video. Thanks guys!
We were gifted the tools from Milwaukee Canada 😊. Been Milwaukee supporters for years but most of our essential tools were left behind in our van in Morocco so we feel VERY lucky!!
Guys!! Have been following your videos for such a long time now! This has to be one of your happiest videos haha! Love it! Genuinely excited for you guys!
Extension chord is NOT the same as house wire. If you do not know what you are doing with electrics, hire an electrician. Dying in a fire is more expensive than an electrician.
For anyone reading please disregard MusFuzZ comment, not only can you get different gauge extension cord for different load applications 10/15/20/30 amp which have no difference as far as resistance (solid to mutli core) but extention cords have a multi wire core which makes it flexible for bending but also better for handling vibration which is better suited for the use in a vechicle (this is why you do not see solid core wires in a car electrical systems), unlike house wire which has solid core, it's harder to bend and more prone to breakage from vibration (especially around power points etc where connectors are screwed into the wire) , if in doubt use a 20amp extension lead, for people in america this is the caculation of load capacity of a 20 amp extension lead and is thus: 20-amp 120-volt circuit: 20amps x 120-volts = 2,400 watts. for other countries running 240 volt : 20 amps x 240-volts = 4,800 watts . 2400 watts is most high loading devices like portable electric stoves etc so a 20amp extension lead will be at its limit but is fine and there is no points of going into the resistance in a lengh of wire as in a van the distances are only short from point A to B, but in doubt you can step up to a 30amp extension lead Always check your appliance's power consumption when deciding on what you need for your electrical system but make sure to fit the earth on your power inverter to the metal on the car and make sure all the earths from power points connect at the same point you connected the earth on the power inverter and use rcd circuit breakers not fuses so even if there is a problem you are protected. This is from a person who has electrical experience, why am im saying this? it's because i know there will be people that will do it themselves or can not afford a electrician. if you can afford a electrican please use them, Electricty is extremely dangerous ...
Oh Eamon I can totally relate to the happy tool dance! I used to ask for a Lowe's gift card for Christmas instead of gifts and would start the shimmy and shake after I unveiled it!!

This was such a fun video! Loving your energy and enthusiasm for this project :D
Haha thank you! Feeling lucky to have this project to keep us engaged and busy throughout this time 💜
Your "eh" has come back super strong since you have been home. I just love it! Be well, my virtual van friends💜
Yay! These videos are honestly getting me through quarantine 🙏🏻
Thanks so much for choosing to spend this time with us Milly! Sending love 💜
Milly Simpson we look forward to them every week. Such wonderful people! Believe it or not they’re even better in person.
Bricks of Happiness they definitely are! Bring me so much joy on Sunday x
Eamon & Bec wouldn’t rather do anything else❤️❤️ much love
Happy Sunday! Go Bec, you did great with the power tools! Also, your tips (about reinforcing heavy traffic areas, etc.) are very helpful. Until next week, friends!
yay 💕 so excited to see your new van building process. inspires me to do more hands-on projects too during this strange time
Thanks for tuning in Corinne! I've really been enjoying this DIY project during this time! The perfect project to keep busy 💜. Hope you find a great hands-on project to tackle too x
I was just re-watching Bob's van build and saw something you might want to remember as you do your new build out. Don't forget you liked his lights in his overhead cupboards 🤓
love you guys i what to build my own van to live in.
Amazing! Good luck with the project 💜
Your videos have inspired my boyfriend and I to start saving for our own van. You guys bring positivity and light through our screen. Thank you 🥰
I’ve been waiting for this ❤️
Awe thank you Ashley! Hope you enjoy this week's van build episode 😊
@@eamonandbec 😂That's completely fair 😂
Can we all stop for a second and appreciate how beautiful bec is !!💙💙🥰
Awe thank you! I appreciate you ✨
13:48 made my day
Bro look at 19:27 when’s she’s making tacos. It must be cold in there.
You guys are such an amazing couple! Thanks for making videos! They are so fun to watch!
You guys are the best and now I want to live in a van 💕🤩
So I have been a long time follower of you guys. I am currently in the middle of Flipping a Home in Buffalo New York and back when the pandemic started I ordered new tools from Milwaukee and pretty much had the same reaction as Eamon when they arrived, I tracked the package for days and my wife was laughing whenever I would check! Congrats.
11:48 Made my SUNDAY! You'll are awesome!💃
As a Canadian, I adore that your, "eh?s" have increased since you've been home :)
Hahaha I’ve even noticed it 😂
Another fantastic episode E&B. Just so you know, not only have you guys inspired us to start a youtube channel of our own, but now we're also racing you while you fit out your van to get us motivated fitting out our boat! Thought we had a chance until Milwaukee turned up! Thanks to you both from across the pond.
I hope you both realize how much joy you bring to the world💓 just by being good people it’s so amazing ❣️😁✨
Awe thank you so much 🙏
I am loving what you guys are doing with the van, can't wait to see the finished product. Also, its Sundayyyy...Monday Tuesday!! Lol. I think I smiled throughout this entire video. Thank you!!
this looks like its really coming together! love it!
Do you have a Spotify playlist for all the songs you use?
Great job on the fans. One heads up for use on the grinder. Where ever sparks land on the paint could be a rust spot down the road. The sparks burn the paint. Jig saw little slower but no sparks. Great job and great ideas I’ll be using in our future build.
We love you from Ireland ❤❤❤❤❤❤who's love those two ❤❤❤❤❤
Sending lots of love right back at you in Ireland ❤️
Eamon & Bec welcome 🙏🏻 with big appreciate ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@eamonandbec Can I just say how cool it is that you guys take the time to comment on so many posts! Most vlogs I watch barely comment to even one person.
The van built is looking good guys, keep it up, Eamon all excited about his tools and Bec cutting away too cool. Bob wearing that mop on his head that was so hilarious got me cracking up just need to dance 'The Mop Dance' there is a song about that, can't wait for the next one. Great job guys!
Bec, talking about the MaxxAir fans: "I mean, just sheer number of them! We have two!" 😂
I love y’all’s positive energy and just happiness that’s why i love to watch your channel. No matter what kind of day I’m having coming here to watch y’all always makes my day!!
@Chelsea hello from Poland!! I have a very positive channel as well 😍 Welcome over!
No one absolutely no one:
Eamon: my floor just got laid 😀😁😅 lol
I love Eamon and Bec! I always watch their videos to be more productive in the days:) I love you guys and never stop doing what you do best.💖💖💖
Please don't tell me you leave all that milwaukee gear in the lockup or it'll be gone by next week 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Love starting my day slowly in bed with a cup of coffee and realizing you posted a new video. Millions of videos to wake my brain but I’m the most excited when you or Max put out a build or travel video.
Thanks guys!
Did u buy the tools or are they free for advertising
We were gifted the tools from Milwaukee Canada 😊. Been Milwaukee supporters for years but most of our essential tools were left behind in our van in Morocco so we feel VERY lucky!!
@@eamonandbec happy days then you did look happy
Guys!! Have been following your videos for such a long time now! This has to be one of your happiest videos haha! Love it! Genuinely excited for you guys!
Awwww Eamon wearing his tool belt. Like a kid at Christmas in their new dress up outfit!! 😊
He hasn't taken it off in days Sharon 😂
Your excitement jumped off of the screen. Nice design hacks.
You guys should 100% install a hidden safe somewhere in the van for when you are not in there so you dont get broken into again
@Dean, great idea!!
I just want to binge all these build videos in once, they are so fun and good to watch! Always looking forward to a new one on Sunday!!
I wonder if they are going to put extra security measures on this one… that'd be one of my biggest worries in van life.
Yes, we've git a few different ideas for security! stay tuned 😊
You guys super deserve this!! Super entertaining!! Keep up the positive vibes!! Feeling it all the way here in Cali!
Extension chord is NOT the same as house wire. If you do not know what you are doing with electrics, hire an electrician. Dying in a fire is more expensive than an electrician.
This isn't their first van build...I think they know what they're doing
For anyone reading please disregard MusFuzZ comment, not only can you get different gauge extension cord for different load applications 10/15/20/30 amp which have no difference as far as resistance (solid to mutli core) but extention cords have a multi wire core which makes it flexible for bending but also better for handling vibration which is better suited for the use in a vechicle (this is why you do not see solid core wires in a car electrical systems), unlike house wire which has solid core, it's harder to bend and more prone to breakage from vibration (especially around power points etc where connectors are screwed into the wire) , if in doubt use a 20amp extension lead, for people in america this is the caculation of load capacity of a 20 amp extension lead and is thus:
20-amp 120-volt circuit: 20amps x 120-volts = 2,400 watts.
for other countries running 240 volt : 20 amps x 240-volts = 4,800 watts .
2400 watts is most high loading devices like portable electric stoves etc so a 20amp extension lead will be at its limit but is fine and there is no points of going into the resistance in a lengh of wire as in a van the distances are only short from point A to B, but in doubt you can step up to a 30amp extension lead
Always check your appliance's power consumption when deciding on what you need for your electrical system but make sure to fit the earth on your power inverter to the metal on the car and make sure all the earths from power points connect at the same point you connected the earth on the power inverter and use rcd circuit breakers not fuses so even if there is a problem you are protected.
This is from a person who has electrical experience, why am im saying this? it's because
i know there will be people that will do it themselves or can not afford a electrician.
if you can afford a electrican please use them, Electricty is extremely dangerous ...
Oh Eamon I can totally relate to the happy tool dance! I used to ask for a Lowe's gift card for
Christmas instead of gifts and would start the shimmy and shake after I unveiled it!!
Wish I got a gift from Milwaukee I’m a Lexus mechanic and wouldn’t mind a Milwaukee impact wrench
Extremegamerrrr right! Who wouldn’t want one!?
I can't wait for the van to be finished! Thank you letting us join you as you build your van. REALLY APPRECIATE IT 💕
Don't film yourself eating, it's gross!
Yeay..go for it Bec! Learning those tools!..always makes me happy to see your videos...you guys are such a happy energetic couple!
