This is so much like our story. I am with a woman 20 years my senior. At the time we met I was done with girls who didn't know what they want. I had been married twice before and not looking to get married again. 2 years into our relationship I come home from my Construction job. She was crying so hard it took her hours to calm down enough to tell me she had breast cancer, and she just knew I was going to leave her for a younger woman when thing got tough. Let me say that she is the best thing that has ever happened to me and just couldn't ever be without her. We have now been together 24 years unmarried now and she has not worked a day since that day, and I love it. She wants for nothing, and I hear from her friends and family that any other man would have been gone. She is so like Bec. She has never felt enough and I always tell her she is more than enough for me.

You are doing so great Becca. I belong to a breast cancer support group, and there are many women who are stage 4 with mets that have being going for years. They just deal with it as a 'chronic illness' and treat things as they come along. And, they are living a happy, healthy life.

Some of us were only familiar with you through RUclips, and obviously don't really know you. When you went "radio silent ", we were just concerned, as humans for your well-being. We just wanted to know if you were doing okay, nothing more. We finally found a picture of Frankie on Instagram, (actually my daughter sent it to me), and we figured out that you were just busy doing what needed doing, but we felt very relieved when we got that little bit of news.

I will never understand how some folk didn't understand why you needed time out to recover from cancer, birth of your child and beginning of parenthood. I've followed you since Trinity, pushing through, buying the cabin, and just working your socks off. From someone who had breast cancer at 34, when my daughter was 10months old, with not such a supportive husband...I am in total awre that Eamon is the best with his support, everything he did and struggled too, yer never once hated you for having breast cancer. You are both blessed. It does change your outlook on life. It did with me. I have been a single mum to a daughter who has 2 children since 2004. Darn hard work yet I have my own business, I choose to be single, I am living my best life with my grandchildren and feel very blessed. Thank you for sharing your thoughts & precious moments. Godbless. 🙏🌾🌴🍂❤️

It’s not fear in Eamon when seeking out more and more interaction with people, it’s his energy. Energy attracts energy and Eamon has a lot and it takes many accumulative humans to ultimately raise that energy to meet his bar.

I am a young doctor myself, my colleague just got hospitalized in a mental insitution because of a mental breakdown due to work related stress, it is so difficult for us out here in medicine. Patients are so different, there are ones who like to hear that there is hope, to present these difficult news in a positive light, but there are also the ones that will laught at you if you try to focus on the positive and want things to be straight and real scientific. There is always hope!! @@jq5843 I don't know about your specific case, I am so sorry, but it is unfair to generalize and blame all of the doctors for it. There definitely are bad ones, that fail and make mistakes or don't put enough work in and the patients suffer or die because of it. But there are horrible people in every profession. There are tons of great doctors that sacrifice their lifes to help others. But we are only human too. I was gutted when you went off-line, but totally relate to needing that time for self reflection and doing inner work, I’m also on that journey. I’ve recently learned about ‘being more sovereign’ and that one quote is starting to change my life ❤. I’m so sorry to hear things have been so tough, but in true E & B style, you are handling it like pros. Everyone needs to know and truly understand that life is not linear and learning to handle the ups and downs, takes time, but having a deeper understanding of one’s self, is really where inner strength is and that is what is going to pull you through life. We are considering moving to Nova Scotia. My hubby never understands all the time, when I have these random big plans but he trusts it will all work out. We also are self employed. I also had breast cancer 11 years ago and had both breasts removed..I didn’t need my breasts but I needed my life. I love the turn you have done and how your have grasped your health. I too, will say there are many blessings in having cancer. Our relationship is so strong and when I watch the two of you and watch you grow, I am humbled to learn all the things you are sharing. I lost my girlfriend to suicide, I have a converted Sprinter van I travel in. Keep being brave and open. By the way, plans for our new home are being done based on two attached homes on one floor so that we can both have our own space and when one passes, the one home can be rented out. I’m glad you are speaking about death….its such an important conversation.

Our bodies can be absolutely incredible and resilient if we give them the opportunity and tools necessary! No cookie cutter treatments should be deemed the only way. You’re doing amazing and continue to claim all the happiness and health in the world for you! 💖💖💖,

Lots of babies enjoy movement. They fall asleep in car seats because the motion is soothing. I've known friends who will strap a car seat to their washing machine while doing laundry. It works for them. Now, there are expensive motion seats. Frankie is not unique in her zest for movement. She is a bright, aware, and curious child. She is also very cute.

How does the birth story vlog benefit YOU by posting it for others? That's the first question you ask yourself. If and only then, you have some benefit to it (besides an income stream) and you feel in your heart it's the right thing to do, you could make a decision. Why does Eamon want to post it so bad? Is it coming from his ego? Because something so personal and triggering for you to post, should be something that is more your decision than his. With all due respect of course. Just some thoughts...thank you both for your vulnerability. It's part of your purpose.

It's such an emotive thing. I couldn't because my eldest refused and my youngest adored it, but my eldest couldn't bear me to feed him as he was so jealous. In the end I reconciled it by realising the universe just wanted me to share feeding with my husband and to protect my mental health.

My 2 cents, for what its worth, maybe keep your birth story for your family - especially for Frankie. It is her story too. Maybe she could be a part of that decision too. Putting your lives out there must be really tough, protect what you feel you have to.

Hearing you tlk about how everything comes down to love or fear and how you actively choose love and quite literally dance the fear away .. i needed to hear and see that. I feel like i was just given a gift of a breath of fresh air and im so thankful to you both. you shine your positivity backed by realness and vulnerability and here i am, just a random girl in middle of nowhere Tennessee and i feel affected and empowered. Thank you.

Welcome back! My grandmother has aged so beautifully. She is 94 and lives alone. She is fully independent - she drives and cooks and cleans, etc. She has been very determined that she is going to age well. My parents help her when she asks, and she will ask for what she needs when she needs. She has just started to slow down noticeably (which is understandable given that she had a simple surgery turn into trauma and lost more than half her blood volume a little over a year ago). She is a FORCE of nature. We will always protect her dignity and when she passes, it will be done on her own terms. We will not try to hold onto her because she's already clear that's not what she wants.
All that to say.... 94 can be achieved with grace and dignity.
And thanks for this podcast. It was exceptionally well done, especially for the heaviness of the topics.

I've only ever listened to one other podcast and that was Craig and Aimee (I found it late, only listened to all the episodes last year) but I can already tell that I will be listening to all your episodes.
So many things your saying is so relevant, I'm only 35 mins in but had to comment.
I can so relate to the feelings of not being enough, my husband is also a person that always wants more, a better house, a better job, better adventures, and it does make you feel like you are the problem, your family aren't enough. We went through a tricky phase a couple of years ago, I told him how it made me feel, we've learnt to be more honest with each other (or I have, I'm not good at talking about my feelings) and we are hopefully through the other side. I just love how honest you are about your feelings with each other (and us)
Not finished this episode yet and already can't wait for the next one. ❤

Great show. I'm a lot like Bec, I love human interaction in small quantities. Nothing wrong with Eamon being an extrovert. I love extroverted people because they bring me out of my shell. I'm glad Bec unplugged from social media updates. For introverted people, it's such an energy vampire to be drained like that. I also can't help but bring up long term metastatic breast cancer survivor Margaret “Peg” Geisler who has been living and thriving with it for over 40 years. You got this Bec!

People look down on prong collars but as a 100lb woman, I had a 130lb Irish wolfhound/Saint Bernard mix and she only responded to prong. Never pulled. Without it, she would pull me to attack dogs. Do what works for the safety of your animal and others, as long as people are aware on how to use them, no harm.

Oh my Bec!! I wanted to point you toward Dr. Joe so many times. And yes! We all go through the moments of being annoyed with Dr. Joe’s yelling voice. He also has his ‘inside’ voice.😂Some of his meditations are gorgeous (no yelling) - I fall back into love with Dr. Joe over and over. Also watch his new documentary SOURCE and you will continue to be inspired.
Stick with the KNOWING that you CAN work with your body to heal. We are so much more!
I would also recommend that you listen to Paul Selig’s channeled work … they are on Audible. Start from the beginning as the books build upon each other.

I feel the breastfeeding topic so heavily! My son was unable to draw out milk. He would latch and suck and suck but nothing. After months and months of lactation consultant visits, I turned into an exclusive pumper. It’s so hard and I have mourned not being able to nurse my son. I get jealous of my friends and family who have been able to nurse. 8 months later and it still hurts almost daily. But I remember that being a parent is hard and we all have our challenges, even the mother’s who nurse exclusively. We’re all just doing our best. ❤❤

I believe that people who get dementia get to see the place where they are going next. That they get to look in and see and eventually maybe want to go in for long time to meet people or see things they haven't seen before. They usually come back to "our" time but once they feel more and more comfortable in "the other" time, they will spend more and more time there. It is ALWAYS a good thing!

Ok. First off, we need details on Eamon’s top. Love x1000!!! Second, love that you talk about the mind/body connect. My husband was in a very bad motorcycle accident( he survived but still has some residual medical issues), but the moment it happened I knew before I got the phone call that something was wrong and every year on the “memorial” of that day (we don’t call it an anniversary because that feels like a “happy” thing), I feel so disconnected without even knowing what day it actually is. I would love to have an episode on that.
