Broods damage is a bit different. Broodling as an initial air attack damage which is quite high, but its subsequent broodling attack is by melee attack. Broodling has one of the fastest attack speeds to make up for its fragility. So its the only or one of the only that benefit from two upgrade paths. Air upgrade weapons and ground melee.

38:13 the queens shuld hit those brood lords while in a stay state of the late game.. 4-8 queens late game, can support zerg units like repairing as scvs, but its free jsut time oirentated... this gives you back the value of your unit... and there is an hp ammount that you need of.. about 40 hp.. that allow the brood to survive another sniper...
Can someone help me out on a thought process? From about 32:00 minutes in the game I was wondering what 8 Vikings do there; obviously I don't know enough about SC2. Late game scenario are vikings a bad call? Or are other units better for the cost in this situation?

I can never understand why people dont takes 2 or 3 ravens..... them turrets do work. then you can swap the energy used one with the full waiting one and keep it going.
Swarmhosts only get made whenever Serral fat fingers a couple and sends them straight to their deaths. I usually love that unit, it's so fun to use, but I don't know why pros don't seem use them that much.
@@akiyamach the pros don't use them much because of 2 main factors. 1) supply count, Swarmhosts are super heavy supply wise. 2) cooldown and investment, they have a very strong attack but the locust swarm needs time to recharge and they are totally useless while on cooldown. So to get real value out of Swarmhosts you need to invest extremely heavily into them and be extremely diligent on attack rotation by using only half at a time...plus a nidus network or 3 with many exits all over otherwise they run into the same slow positioning issue Broodlords used to suffer from.
Cure screwed up and was stingy at the end with not making 3 more ghost academies, so he could fire of 4 nukes at once. If he did that and also attacked, 1 would most definitely hit its intended target. Furthermore, anytime you have no harass, you will probably lose the game. Zerg can bring back their whole army in 1 min. Never allow them a breather.
In the first minute you talked about a Serral vs Ragnarok best of 5 match? Can you link to that, or did you do commentary on it? (I hope you did commentary on it, because I prefer listening to you instead of other commentators haha)
I think Zerg has the best spellcasters, but must use Infesters, Vipers, AND Queens to be effective in the late game. Protoss and Terran can get by with just using 1.
I can't believe that there was even a discussion about the race with the best spellcasters! Zerg LIVES AND DIES by its spellcasters in the late game, and Ragnarok not getting any really good hits in with them is the reason he lost this game. Also: Thors need the Ultralisk treatment: they need to be made smaller and should move a little faster. Siege tanks should be a bit smaller too. Both of those units derp around too much on these new maps that have VERY claustrophobic corridors. It's a big problem for Terran because they are the only race that doesn't have a good late-game air army. Edit: "Couple" is literally 2; "few" is more nebulous.
Honeself I think the reason he lost the game was because of those 25 overlords rag made. Literally he was broke the rest of the game after that. I mean we even saw rag take a great trade towards the end of the game and cure just had the money 2 remax and rag just has 20+ovis

So... I thin tis a poor form of use.. because aheavy attak the thords would either ocmmit ot a base trade.. or slowly come back... but if they are commting to a base trade.. and woudl win. .that have already won... so..... the most important base is on/ where hte last minerals are.. so build duplicate key structures as zerg whe nthere is 1-3 mineral fields left is important... chaning ones defensive stance.. to some degree.. So if they take off the prodcution and you get the addons.. this creates cost.. forcing your opponent ot spend their bank .

Are you kidding me? The Terrans have Ghosts... Ghosts can EMP all other spell casters, can cloak, can nuke, and can SNIPE everything that Zerg owns at long range. How does anything Zerg has as spell caster even remotely come close to the Terran Ghost?! Ghosts are used in literally EVERY match up. Their EMPs work against Protoss very well. Their Snipes are insane late game against Zerg. And in TvT Ghosts are also extremely useful on Medivacs for EMP and can kill bio units like nothing with snipes. They also nuke late game endlessly if you're going multiple ghost academies. Never in all of StarCraft history has there ever been a unit as OP and "good in every situation and can be used in every situation" as Ghosts for the terrans in SC II and you guys complain about zerg spell casters? Oooh scary infestor... fungal does 30 damage over time and "slows" your units... oooh big deal... oooh infestor does a shroud that halfs air damage to our units... big deal.... Ravens can disable enemy Tanks and Carriers... Even Protoss can use a REVEAL that reveals a large area of stealth units and make mines that freeze units so they can't move. Zerg has to wait for tier 3 for a unit that does absolutely nothing other than "abduct" a single enemy unit at a time into our army. It does NO damage, it relies on an army of hyralisks or other units to kill what it grabs, and it costs so much energy that it needs to damage our own buildings to get energy. ARE YOU kidding me?!
You always claim in your videos that thors shred bl's, but all the evidence confirms that thors are trash and bl's shred terran mech. Cure pulled this one out, but he did so because he built an early lead and traded well before bl's and thors took the field-he would have been beaten handily otherwise. Thors suck. Yeah that's what I thought too, I don't remember the details but something is off about it.

I mean, as a whole, the zerg has the best spellcating force. But the best spellcaster individually is the ghost, and there's no competition.
