Its a copy & paste from the description. Ever since i read that i noticed how many artists say how they are inspired by others. Dj premier says he gets inspired to make music by listening to other peoples music. David Bowie said he's never made anything truly original everything was inspired by someone else. When you really study music and im not talking about at college you will see the influence musicians favourite artists have on them

Obsessed, embodied, are you serious? If that's the case why would artists have the desire to create their own music when all they have to do is immolate the artist they're obsessed with. Upcoming artists should definitely strive to create their own music & sound, nothing wrong with being influence by another artist(s), but to become obsessed & embodied in someone else's work? Stay in the jazz/ soul groove boys , the R&B vibe is lost in this song as not required . Allow slower vibrato in lead vocals it’s not a song to trill and octave trip on please !

Again I ask, Who said white boyz don't have soul? from the original, Bobby Caldwell, to this cover, "Soul" is there in abundance! FYI, when the original was released by Bobby many moons ago, the Album cover did not feature his face for fear it would not be received well. Side note, I Saw and heard Bobby sing this live, the recording does not do him justice, its more like his record could not capture the true depth of his soulfulness, Peace, Blessings and Big up!
I thought we did ok...but there's nothing like a live performance ;-) - T. Holloway , engineer ... and yeah.. I think that thing with the cover was a strategic thing by the label.
I remember when Bobby did the video , and he got off the bench and walked into the lights and a billion jaws dropped that day ! (MTV Didn't come along till years after he did the record ! ) Aahhaa the good ol'days ! At least these incredibly talented young men are preserving this great music ! ❤️✌🏼
