From what I am seeing, WNBA doesn't just bully WW... they bully BEAUTIFUL women, especially those who don't respond to their sexual advances. Candance Parker was bullied, Skylar Diggans still gets bullied (I don't feel sorry for her though), Candace Wiggins got bullied as well. And I am not saying they are attractive (what matters is if the other women in the league saw them as attractive) but Liz Cambage and Jewell Lloyd has also been bullied. And if they are not bullied, then they get cut. Kysre G, the most beautiful woman in the W, and Celeste Taylor, were cut (thankfully Celeste was picked up). And Nika Muhl was simply rotting on the bench.
Angel Reese knows the deal, so she will almost never support CC unless she KNOWS she won't get blowback. No matter what she says, she knows a lot of the women do not like her. There is a REASON why we NEVER see pics of Angel Reese hainging out with her teammates or going to an NBA game together like we do CC with Lexi Hull, Boston, and Mitchell. Kysre was Reese's only friend on that team and they cut her.

Iowa then ran out the final seconds to win the game and advance to the National Championship game. Geno Auriemma is still pissed over this call and it's probably part of his Caitlin resentment issue. And now Caitlin has shown that it is possible to become a mega superstar in this game - follow her lead, improve your game, add something to your game that is special for the fans, let your positive personality out on the court to let the fans know you love playing the game and entertaining them. Fans are now watching, give them something to watch and fall in love with - that is what Caitlin did and that is why she is a mega superstar. Others who follow this lead will not regret it.

The lack of professionalism by their players (cattiness, bullying, physical assaults, narcissism, jealousy), coaches, owners, referees, and management is appalling. 25ys of mediocrity has a way of blinding one to excellence. It is a shame how many players want recognition for just being in the league. Pettiness, jealousy and racism are not attractive nor productive . The time is now for your league to move forward and expand. Caitlin Clark is the catalyst . All one has to do is move with it. Just remember more young players will be coming. And they to will be bringing new styles and talents.

I don't think so. I expect the Fever games to be all sold out. But I doubt other teams attendance will increase at all. If anything, non Fever games may very likely decrease in attendance and viewership. CC brought a lot of new fans to the game, but all the negativity is likely to drive many of them away. The owners, players and league officials need media training to learn how to stay on message instead of them just saying whatever BS that pops into their heads. The Wnba seems to be going with the strategy "any attention is good attention." If they put a stop to all this, they are scared of being out of the conversation, so they'd rather have this negative talk than no talk at all. I wish they'd realize that it's just a bad look on the product. People can see they're not a united group which will allow the trolls (who are already a crazy bunch) to further pick them apart and that will ultimately hurt them.

TIME Magazine named Caitlin Clark Athlete of the Year for 2024. BET Co-Founder Sheila Johnson just said that TIME should not have named one person but instead, should have named the whole WNBA. A few months ago her former network, BET, named Angel Reese Sportswoman of the Year for 2024. Why didn't she say that BET should have named the whole WNBA? Someone please ask her this. Hypocrisy and racism separately are bad enough. But combined, they are insufferable.
