Those roads look amazing.. Reaching the peak looked mega steep!! Would you recommend a lighter - more enduro style bike for this pass, or do you think the Himi handled it well enough? I'm thinking of doing it myself :D
The Himi did manage, but it was a really close call. You should consider that I am quite heavy, about 90kg, so a bit less weight might help. If you want to avoid the steep skislope, you can drive up to the Fort Jafferon from the other side, it's a much easier and more scenic road. What I would personally avoid is taking the steep side to drive down, I don't think that's fun on the Himi.
