In 2024 we took out 2012 white Landcruiser VX V8 for a short drive up from Singapore/JB to Phuket. As a holiday - our philosophy is to average 5 hours driving a day. The rest of the time should be exploring things outside of the vehicle. Nice to know that we can drive to China/Tibet/Everest. Thank you to Jeremy for providing clear information. Now that it is done with such relative ease.... I will have to do the same journey ... but in my 40 year old G-wagon or a Can Am Trike. Thank you dear adventurers for setting the benchmark!
The fact that China was able to build entire highways into some of the most inhospitable and highest places to connect the country together is nothing short of amazing. Except for some places, most of the roads are very drivable. An engineering feat.
RUclips decided to promote this to me, and I am more than happy it did. A Chinese man lives in north amarica for almost 2 decades, me who had nvr seen these sceneries with my very eyes. I am amazed by your journey and encouraged to be there myself. Thank you very much!!
Nice Video. We did pretty much the same Tour in May from KL. Its nice to see the places from a different perspective. Very jealous about your drone shots. I kept mine hiding. After Everest we pushed on to Kyrgyzstan and further to Germany.
Just wanna say , Jeremy you have my utmost respect for your pursuit of adventures and flying the Singapore 🇸🇬 flag high across the GLOBE 🌍 , literally . Inspiring many of us that simply , impossible is nothing ,Just Do It !
Always wanted to drive from Singapore to China, or the other way around. Thanks for sharing. Your video proved that it is plausible to do so. What I learned after watching this video: 1. Most difficult part of the roads are in Laos 2. Basic car repairing skills are essential to resolve random incidents and emergencies on road 3. Always safer to travel with a bunch of cars. A single car travel is virtaully impossible because at some point you'll need your mate to pull you out of the mire
thank you for sharing your magical journey with us , i just saw the video and clicked it out of curiosity but i stayed for the amazing sceneries you've filmed
I watched many road trips , travel adventures, camping etc on youtube, This is the best video, it is very well documented with great scenery and food. I am so proud of you guys and it is totally not easy ,it takes a long planning. cordination, co-operation , trust , and teamwork to be able to this amazing journey. Salute to all and have a safe trip.
This is so cute! It is so amazing to be able to find so many like minded people who are willing to take such a long road trip together. I often think about taking the train all the way up, or driving up. There are even people walking around the world or cycling around the world. What a beautiful world we live in!
Damn...this video is sooo good it should be on CNA as a documentary. And prolly other travel channels all over the world. Amazing....n so addictive... couldn't stop watching at any point. 👏👏👏
Random recommendation on my feed, it was such an enjoyable watch. Your voice sounds just like a DJ voice. Love your song selection in the background, very soothing! What an awesome journey, thank you so much for sharing with us your adventure!
Im half Thai and i go to Thailand every year bcuz i have a grandma, aunts and uncles, cousins and my mom is Thai ❤ I hope yall had a fun time in the Land of Smiles! ❤🇹🇭🙏🏽
Superliked the visual coverage and the naturalness of the narration. Great sharing! it gives me a rare glimpse of powerful and dependable cars, adventurous guys and beautiful sceneries.
The shots you took in Dali and Lijiang were amazing!! I went there 2 months ago and enjoyed both places so much, the footage you captured really showed how beautiful these 2 places were, I wish my photos looked as good hahaha
hi Jeremy! RUclips algorithm worked magic 🪄, and shared this video with me. Watching your adventure is so thrilling and inspired me to do a road trip like this in the future. 🏔️ I’m really proud of you as a Singaporean 🇸🇬and the others to stay collected together. Really love this video and hope to see more of this 🙏🫶 Love the informative servicing and hotel stamps 👌 especially the details like temporary licenses and escort at borders. These realistic and behind the scenes footages are often overlooked and not appreciated. Kudos to you and the team 👍👍 Stay safe and happy travels 🙆♀️💖
I'm glad to see my hometown, Pu Er, in your video. I've never been to Tibet, but I hope I can visit it someday in the future, even though I currently live overseas.
idk why my algo recommended this vid but i watched it till the end. maybe its something about your voice is relaxing lol. also proud of your achievement, plus the picturesque scenery when you were driving through the mountains was breathtaking.
Stumbled across this video randomly but absolutely enjoyed it from start to finish and subscribed! So cool to see these parts of Asia that we wouldn’t see otherwise, and amazing shots taken! SG represent 🇸🇬
The vehicle needs to give way to both lanes when entering a roundabout. This is to ensure vehicles already inside the roundabout on both inner and outer lanes have the opportunity to leave at the next exit. Most folks either don't care or don't know.
Kudos and Salute to Jeremy and team. 👍💪💪💪 Thank you for sharing this amazing magical road trip. 🚗 ❤Seriously, great honour if I can join in your team. I am your fans now, Idol. 😍
Such a wholesome video! The engaging editing beautifully captures the hearty meals, local accommodations & culture, and scenic views. ❤ It would be great if the title reflected the journey, like '23-Day Epic Road Trip from Singapore to Tibet & Everest,' instead of the 'Problems We Faced'😅
What a journey and what a challenge! I went to Everest base camp by train from Bangkok to Lhasa just last month! Breathtaking views at the base camp. Never thought of driving because didn’t that it can be done! Can anybody share the documentation and logistics need to do the trip by car from Singapore? Might want to do the driving to Xinjiang next time.
Good choice for choosing Land Cruiser. The last time I've done this with my family is by using a 2010 Toyota Rush... Travel from KL all the way to Laos.
Warm greetings from Miri, Sarawak! Jeremy, for some random reason, your video appeared in my RUclips Home last Saturday. I’m so impressed with your narrative; informative, crisp and beautiful shots! Thank you for making my RUclips watching more interesting! Wishing you all the best in everything you do! Warmest wishes, :) James Tc Wong

Too poor to fly to Tibet? drive there.
Welcome to Nepal and see everest from south side mate 😊
@@DsiahrzAltIt is definitely not cheap to drive there, maybe more expensive than flying there. It is for the adventure and the scenic views.
This trip sure aint cheap! No budget dont drive there.
Thanks for sharing info about your gear. The editing is well done too! May i know what editing software do you use?
Just want to say I'm so happy to see the Land Cruiser being used the way it's meant to

What's amazing about it ? These Chinese commies stole road building technology from the West.
Yet people still say "fReE tIBeT"

Amazing vlog! I have leant so much about south-east Asia in this video. And something about the road to Mt Everest. This was a very resilient team.
It was a challenging journey, for sure.
Great travelogue. Great to see a LC 300 being used as it’s meant to, instead of popping in and out of shopping centres.💪🏽👍
The Chinese small towns along the way certainly has their charms, no less than that of Japanese ones. And very well maintained. Great video ❤
