Hi Hu’s, Great channel! I have the same feelings about Himalayn. Just bought one 2023 edition with no A cat driving license 😝 Passing the exam. Just felt in love. once I saw the bike. I’m wondering what kind of cargo system should I put on Himmi and my question is - with your givi engine guards, panniers’holders and soft textile 25L panniers, how fast can you go on highway comfortably? Is 110 km/h still comfortable? Does the engine cope with extra laguage and less areodynamics at speed 100-110 km/h or is much above its power capacity? I’m 85 kilo guy. Thx in advance for reply Piotr
Hi there! Sorry for the late answer, since this isn't my main channel, I sometimes tend to forget to check-in. To answer your question: 110kph isn't a very cruising-friendly speed on the Himalayan with or without bags. Haha. I feel at 110 it's quite high in RPM already, 100-105 feels a bit more comfortable for cruising. Last year I did 600km in just a day on freeways and highways, mostly going between 100-110 fully packed with bags (I am 95kg myself). It's doable if necessary, and I wouldn't say it's necessarily much more comfortable/uncomfortable than other bikes in this segment.
Man muss also lang rumkramen, vor allem im dunklen Zelt, damit man was findet. Da sind Koffer schon besser. - Sorry für die späte antwort, vl hilfts ja noch.
Hi fellow Himalayan owner what a beautiful country . I just wanted to tell you that you have install handguard s on wrong way (right side to left side and left side to right side)
Hey there! Thanks for the message! Actually I did it on purpose. When the original windscreen was installed I first installed the handguards and found they always touch the windscreen when fully turning. Sometimes they even got stuck at the windscreen. Then I tried switching them and it worked - didn't get stuck anymore! 😅 Well...I could change it back now with the new windscreen, but I was too lazy. 😂
I guess it depends a lot what kind of bike in combination with the bags/cases. For the Himalayan with these Givi bags it works quite fine for the pillion.
@@who_let_HU_out Yes for the himalayan. We will be in Netherlands/Germany this winter and if you find yourself riding around that region, feel free to write.
Greetings, I do have a question. Regarding your Givi Canyon soft bags are you not getting issues with you exhaust system? My got burned because the close proximity to the cylinder exhaust.
Hi Rafael! Which racks do you have? (and I assume you mounted them on a RE Himalayan too, right?) I have one too and I am considering to buy these bags too.
Hey Rafael! Yes, mine got a bit burned/melted as well. The hard back plate of the beg melted and when I noticed I pressed them a bit inside to create more space. After that I also adjusted the pannier racks a bit to give more space, after that it was fine. I contacted GIVI about it...they did not care much. They just said "they can't test their pannier racks on each motorbike, they just design them with standard clearance and hope it's fine". - Sorry for the late answer.

I am sorry for the double-upload!!! The first upload of this video was cut-off after 8 minutes or so, I needed to re-upload. Now should be all fine! 😊
Yes, self-protection & safety on the road is crucial.
Make sure you're cautious along the road. Safe & sound.

You have some great ideas here. My favourite is the windscreen and the clip on/off saddle bags!

我想骑着我的1200gs去找你🍻
I like the givi bags. Are they also pilion friendly? I ride with my wife on the back. Aluminium cases really cramp up the pilion.

may I ask where you got the usb/mount for the auxilary usb in the rear?
Bought both USB plugs from Louis (a German motorbike store), the brand is called "Albrecht". - Sorry for the late answer. 😅
Can u make an video of singing ‘Anton aus Tirol‘ ? Lmao
When my motorbike channel hits 100k I will go for it. 😉😂😂😂
Where did you buy the grt 720 bags? I didn't think they were released yet.
Hey Keith. They released in June I think. I got them in Italy. The side is called Carpimoto, they have a webshop as well. :)
