Regulations in Norway require vapor barriere between concrete and any type of treated lumber (untreated lumber is illegal to use as bottom sill on top of concrete)
Its so crazy to see you here in Spokane. I started watching you other channel loved it then you moved. I guess I got un subscribed kind of forgot about it, then your new channel pops up in my feed and your here in my town!. Welcome to Spokane and it would be Kool in the future if you were able to do a meet and greet, we have lots of gatherings here Pig out in the Park in downtown and many more. Also some other youtubers like Fireball tool who do fab work live close by, would be fun to see a Collab anyway congrats on the new property. My wife and I are also looking but the market here is crazy right now, I still have to go to your other channel and re subscribe lol.
Thanks for the sub. We absolutely love it out here, it's exactly what we were all looking for. I have been collaborating with Gavin over at Death Toll Racing on a few projects and would like to meet up with some of the other local shops. When I do meet ups at car shows, I usually post to my IG if you want to follow along there.
Quick question, I couldn’t help but notice when you cut out the insulation for the door that you didn’t have exterior sheeting. Is there any reason why? Is the house wrap enough? I’m no expert. Just looking to construct my own and the company providing the steal building doesn’t want to sheet the exterior side of the post before metal siding goes on either.
The videos on this channel are shorter than my automotive channel because this is not my expertise and I feel like I can't compete with the professionals doing proper how-to tutorials. I am more trying to share our build and hopefully encourage other people doing similar things.
@@thehomesteadthread They don't and you're an amateur. I'm framing a house right now and using 1 1/8" _plywood_ subflooring over 16" tall BCIs. If any floor could be framed at 24" oc, this one could, yet I'm not because it'd be asinine.
That channel deserve so much more subscribers, can’t wait to see the future videos !
The puzzle is becoming clearer. Looks great.
Nice work and I love the second channel. I first started watching you during the crown vic build and the ford restore is what hooked me.
If I may say, sir, I am glad you stayed with the black onyx paint.

Nice work!
Looking good!!

Where is your safety equipment when working on the construction site?
Why is your content so short. Love the videos, but it seems rushed and hurried.

@@thehomesteadthread I truly enjoy watching your channel. I really do.
Floors should NEVER be framed at 24" on center.
...Unless the manufacturer of the I-joists and OSB flooring both specify 24OC spacing...
