I’m a late driver as well. I have anxiety when I drive & when I think about driving. My best advice is to make sure you have your rear-view & side mirrors positioned correctly. Starting out, I thought my mirrors were adjusted properly, but they weren’t. I had huge blind spots on both sides of my car, nearly resulting in multiple accidents. Now I truly believe I have my mirrors positioned correctly thanks to videos on RUclips & Stan Cravens on RUclips. Along with Stan Cravens’ advice, I purchased some blind spot mirrors for my side mirrors from Amazon (the brand- Liberrway). They come in a pack of 2 for $7.97. I put them in the innermost bottom corner of each side mirror (some people put them in the outermost bottom corner of each side mirror). Just see what works best for you. The blind spot mirrors can & should be adjusted. Drive around a neighborhood & adjust your side mirrors & blind spot mirrors as practice before getting on the highway. Adjust the blind spot mirrors to see what you’re missing. Honestly, it’s been a life saver. Learning how to position your mirrors & the blind spot mirrors takes a few times to see what works for you (along with shoulder checking as well). Make sure you check all of your mirrors including the blind spot mirrors & shoulder check before switching lanes as the combination maximizes your view. Another thing that makes me panic while driving is when the lights turn from green to yellow. It can be hard to judge whether or not you’re safe to go through before the light turns red. The RUclips channel Conquer Driving has a great video for yellow/amber lights. I’m also working on parking (getting in & out of parking spaces). I also need to work on merging. For now, I’m sticking to back roads. Stay safe everyone.
@@monaekevonna11 that's young, I'm 19 and I'm about to get my license. need to travel places, it's a good skill to drive 😎 some people are just too scared or have vision problem, hoping that self driving takes over soon.
Very useful information and good practice. Sorry to tell that many people do not drive like this in real life. Driving at high speed all the way in, turning early with limited steering, cutting corners of surrounding spaces, and then trying to adjust by backing and steering inside the parking window.
Thank you!!! Parking is very challenging for me.. This video help me to understand a lot on how to park right.. Anyway, I’m your new subscriber here.. 😊
I ran over the cone right away to don’t feel lonely. I thought I was the only one that did that stupid mistake. Thank you for this video. I need all the help I can get my test is Wednesday and it’s extended driving so I’m really nervous.❤
Hi. In the video, when you made the left side parking you used the left mirror alignment for a sedan but for the right side parking you used the front right wheel. Is that the general rule of thumb to follow or we could use the same for both sides like either front wheel/side mirror according to the car for both sides?
Im sooo nervous for my closed circuit road test tomorrow. I can do u turn and 3 point turn but pull in parking and reverse parking. Iffy on. Bc i dont wanna lose points if i reverse for corrections. And my fam only has big cars so been practicing with van and cones. But yea, super nervous 😩
This tutorial is very helpful to us, can i ask ?if during parking maneuver what gear to use and what technique to avoid fast acceleration and bumping other car?
you can always retake it if you fail the first time, it took me two times to get my license. just remember to breathe and practice to make sure you feel ready. good luck! :)

I parked just fine till i watched these videos. No it's shit as I over think it. (Also you say don't press the gas pedal, well if I just take my foot of the break my car doesn't move 🤕 wtf)
I'm a new driver and was never taught this. Thank you so much. My parking is so terrible. I'm definitely using this.
Thank you, glad it was helpful.

Just follow the steps on the video @ 5:43, use the front bumper since you are driving a larger car. Best of luck

Yoo
I parked just fine till i watched these videos. No it's shit as I over think it. (Also you say don't press the gas pedal, well if I just take my foot of the break my car doesn't move 🤕 wtf)
This is nonsense - one should always reverse into spaces like these.
