Parking is the most common difficulty many drivers have in the beginning. Just practice practice and you’ll see how easy it becomes. Appreciate the comment, glad we could help.

I never knew a technique or what to look for, and I am not the best at just "feeling what's right and having an idea" or "trusting my instincts" when it comes to the spatial awareness of the car. This is super helpful. Hope to get my license by the end of this summer. : )
You're the first parking tutorial I've come across mentioning to line my wheel to the line if driving an SUV! I've been lining up to the mirror all the time I've been practicing and I never had enough space, I'd always need to immediately correct. He then sat silently while I struggled and when I asked him to guide me with instructions he said he couldn't explain it 🙄 I'm seriously looking forward to tomorrow when I can use the tips in this video!
Here is a simple tip. Alight your side mirror with the middle of the parking space before your desired parking spot, make full turn and stop when the csr is straight.
Doesn’t the size of your vehicle determine where you align your side mirror? Seems the middle of the space would not give you enough clearance for a large vehicle.
Thank you for the video. Got my license 7 yrs ago and only started driving last week so everything is so challenging especially parking. Hopefully this will help me park better.
Me too!! I’ve never even parallel parked either.. still passed the test tho!!! But how am I even gonna be able to go places if I don’t know how to parallel park. As of parking in lots… I suck at that too but I’m glad this video shows the tip abt lining up the side mirror with the white line cus I never knew that
as a beginner, i found it helpful to have the mirror or the wheel align with the parking line. I never thought of that. Great tip! Also, I know we have to create an angle when turning on a right-handed parking, but what if there’s a car in front of me? Can I still do that?
Today my road test, and I was struggling how to park then yesterday I saw this video I followed the technique to align the mirror and it worked. Thank you
I have my driving exam on May 11th. I will let you guys know whether I pass or fail:) Update I went to DMV today at 1:00 pm to take my Driving Test and I passed. Your videos helped me a lot. Thanks much
You dont need to have your wheels touching the parking bumper because its bad for tires. Also if you have a low car your bumper might get scarped by it.
My little advice is backing up to the right hand parking spot is actually a lot easier than pulling in (Considering you don’t need anything from the trunk :))
this video helps but I will be taking my road test soon when everything clears. I already know that parking will be the hardest part to do. I will continue on watching tutorials so I can get a better understanding of this.
New driver here (in the US), I find it's way way more challenging of how to park properly (especially in a tight parking lot), than driving the car on the road. My first few days of having a new car, I had to ask my dad to park for me (we live in a condo, with shared parking lot) after I got home from work
I've had my license for over 10 years. I was taught to use my mirrors to line the car up. This worked when I drove a small 2 door sunfire. I upgraded to a truck and the techniques I was taught was not working. This is the first time for me learn to use the bumper or front wheel with a bigger vehicle.
This is nice, I however wish you could give more detail about measurements like how do you tell that you're parking the car in a straight line? also how do you exactly turn the steering wheel to correct it?
I have other videos that explains how to turn/move steering wheel when parking. Regarding more details about measurements I’ll keep it in mind thanks for the suggestion.
I need this!😩 I haven't been driving for few years due to personal reasons. My goal is to gain back my confidence as driver🙌🏽. I think I found my driving channel subscribed!😃🙌🏽

Can you please make a video about how to get over your anxiety of learning to drive please? I have tried learning to drive behind the wheel before but i get anxiety and get nervous also. I know i can learn to drive and i want to because I'm tired of just using Uber all the time and asking people for rides. I want to learn to drive so that way i can be able to go to places more and not have to go to work walking all the time.
I have trouble parking and the front tires actually hit the bumper this morning. Hope it didn’t damage it. Didn’t hit it too hard but I still noticed it. And sometimes I park diagonally or too far to one of the white lines more than the other and I don’t always go forward far enough and I sometimes park in 2 parking spaces. It’s frustrating.
So when you are parking into the parking Spot in order to align the car straight you turn the wheel to the opposite side? For example, if I’m pulling in right, I turn the wheel all the way to the right go in and slowly let my wheel turn to the left side till my car is aligned?
I have my exam today and i’m so scared about parking since i’m going to have to use my own car:/ I have a medium sized suv (nissan rouge 2021) and the mirror alignment doesn’t work, WHAT DO I DO!!!
