Hello everyone!!!, Welcome once again to another driving tutorial and we are very excited to share this valuable information to make you a better driver. Today we will be focusing on how to park your car in a parking spot between two cars. I’ve been getting requests on making a video about this once again and explaining it a bit more in detail because is a huge concern when it comes to taking the driver examination. There are some people that are about to take the exam and still haven’t mastered this technique. We will show you how to park a car safely step by step. Thank you and I hope you enjoy the video.

My fear of stall parking outweighs my motivation to go places. The time sensitivity aspect of parking in a busy area is so scary to me. The thought of having to correct my parking even once when other people can see me is so humiliating for some reason.
You are not the only that feels that way, it was pretty scary for me as well in the beginning. Keep practicing and it will go away. Best of luck.
LITERALLY. I mean I’m 16 and just learning to drive but the thought of people seeing me correct myself is utter humiliation 💀

I have social anxiety and I worry other people will judge me as well if whatever I do but I need to do what I got to do in order to build myself up so I can be successful So I’m slowly starting to not care.
It's more frustrating when someone beside you is screaming at you, belittling you and telling you to "go go go" but when you press the gas, freaks out.

It's so easy from the outside,but hard when you do it.
It’s only as difficult as you make it. Remember one tent to set our own limits. Practice and you’ll see how easy it all truly is.

Man I hate parking I always end up too close to the line instead of being in the center I’m still learning but hey I will try that mirror tip aligning it to the parking line

A trick is to always look at the center of the road at least at a 100 meters distance (300 feet)

I've never driven a car before, I'm just wondering how the heck do people park cars so perfectly in the middle of the lines when you don't have a full view of the outside
Practice, familiarizing yourself with the vehicle, and taking your time. As time passes and you do it more often it starts to come natural and you’ll find yourself performing said actions faster and smoother.
I've been starting to drive and this is the reason I park crooked/get too close to the curb. I can't tell where the car is lining up 😭
Some people have driven for decades and still can't park well. My dad is still awful at parking and drives every day
I took my driver's test back in December with my Kia Soul and I was pretty bad at parking. I could never seem to get the timing right. I watched this video and I park perfectly every time now, so thank you for the tips! 😊

Parking is the most common difficulty many drivers have in the beginning. Just practice practice and you’ll see how easy it becomes. Appreciate the comment, glad we could help.

You're the first parking tutorial I've come across mentioning to line my wheel to the line if driving an SUV! I've been lining up to the mirror all the time I've been practicing and I never had enough space, I'd always need to immediately correct. I've been very frustrated that it takes me so many tries to park but I'm doing my best to not give in!
17- year old trying to get their license here, and let's just say my parking is, well, *questionable* at best. I never knew a technique or what to look for, and I am not the best at just "feeling what's right and having an idea" or "trusting my instincts" when it comes to the spatial awareness of the car. This is super helpful. Hope to get my license by the end of this summer. : )
Parking left--> firstly left turn signal on, next stop the car when left mirror at the level of parking spot’s first white line , after this turn the steer wheel all the way to the left then left the break paddle slowly

I had pretty bad anxiety while driving for ages and even though I've mostly gotten used to the main roads/highways now, I still find myself avoiding a lot of places because of the parking. I have messed up parking so many times that the thought of doing it alone just really freaks me out - and whenever I ask my family they always say "it's instinct, we don't really think about doing it" which...doesn't really help me haha. Having something step by step like this is just what I need.
Eugh same with my stepdad telling me it’s a “feeling you just need to learn”- like how am I going to improve when I don’t understand what and why I need to do that maneuver?🙈
Just got into a fight with my significant other over this today. I take my test tomorrow, and asked him to take me to an empty lot to practice parking. He then sat silently while I struggled and when I asked him to guide me with instructions he said he couldn't explain it 🙄 I'm seriously looking forward to tomorrow when I can use the tips in this video!

Here is a simple tip. Alight your side mirror with the middle of the parking space before your desired parking spot, make full turn and stop when the csr is straight.
Doesn’t the size of your vehicle determine where you align your side mirror? Seems the middle of the space would not give you enough clearance for a large vehicle.

Thank you so much for this in depth explanation 🙏 I was trying to practice in an empty parking lot tonight but only made about 5 successful attempts. (I kept parking terribly, like my car would be completely at a slant or touching the other lot)I felt really low thinking I could never possibly learn , it felt way too difficult out of everything so far that’s the hardest part. Hopefully I can utilize these tips and they work for me 💜thanks again.

Driving TV update: THESE TIPS WORKED 🔥🥰🥰yay! Practiced at another lot & I did great this time I made almost every park perfectly. I still struggled a bit with straightening the car so sometimes it was slanted :/ but that’s my fault I have to learn how to fix that. Turning the wheel properly to situate the car straight is kinda hard for me. I still have to figure that part out. This video changed the game though🔥🔥🔥 you’re great.

LMFAO I mastered parallel park and can do it perfectly but can’t park in a parking lot
You'll mastered it soon, just continue practicing, it's not that bad.
Literally the easiest thing idk why people have a hard time parking in a parking lot

Me too!! I’ve never even parallel parked either.. still passed the test tho!!! But how am I even gonna be able to go places if I don’t know how to parallel park. As of parking in lots… I suck at that too but I’m glad this video shows the tip abt lining up the side mirror with the white line cus I never knew that

as a beginner, i found it helpful to have the mirror or the wheel align with the parking line. I never thought of that. Great tip! Also, I know we have to create an angle when turning on a right-handed parking, but what if there’s a car in front of me? Can I still do that?

So when you are parking into the parking
Spot in order to align the car straight you turn the wheel to the opposite side? For example, if I’m pulling in right, I turn the wheel all the way to the right go in and slowly let my wheel turn to the left side till my car is aligned?

How to reverse in a parking space thanks
You dont need to have your wheels touching the parking bumper because its bad for tires. Also if you have a low car your bumper might get scarped by it.

New driver here (in the US), I find it's way way more challenging of how to park properly (especially in a tight parking lot), than driving the car on the road. My first few days of having a new car, I had to ask my dad to park for me (we live in a condo, with shared parking lot) after I got home from work
I've had my license for over 10 years. I was taught to use my mirrors to line the car up. This worked when I drove a small 2 door sunfire. I upgraded to a truck and the techniques I was taught was not working. This is the first time for me learn to use the bumper or front wheel with a bigger vehicle.

1. at 5:00, when u go towards the left lane to turn right, do u turn the left signal on when ur going into the left lane to turn right? i know u turn the right signal on when u turn to park right, but to park right i see that u have to go into the left lane, so do i turn the left signal on when i go into the left lane?
2. i have a toyata camry, should i align my mirrors with the white line to park or allign my tire with the white lane to mark? and whatever it is, is it for both right and left parking?

This is nice, I however wish you could give more detail about measurements like how do you tell that you're parking the car in a straight line? also how do you exactly turn the steering wheel to correct it?
I have other videos that explains how to turn/move steering wheel when parking. Regarding more details about measurements I’ll keep it in mind thanks for the suggestion.
