I've heard details from a jury member that weren't released to the media. What they done to that kid was absolutely disgusting and they deserve everything that happens to them in prison.

I was in Glenochil when he was there, in the old halls & we moved into new Jail when Halls opened. I was Co accused with Jim & George Hynes 2003 & from up North. If someones cards are marked in the Scottish prison system Kilmarnock prison isn’t a prison you want to be in. Security is or was pretty lax compared to an sps nick. The screws were clueless. I’ve heard of a few people getting badly done down there.

They were taking big huge kitchen knifes out the cooks and taking em back to the hall and doing each other with them. You know as well as me that would NEVER happen in an sps prison. A tottie peeler goes missing in an sps prison the whole prisons locked down while they systematically search the whole prison. It wouldn’t even get that far. You would never get out the cooks with anything like that. The fact that didn’t happen in Kilmarnock is madness.
Not sure if it still happens, but boys were going from E & F wing into G wing & doing cunts & vice versa, also if u knew a mate was in remand you'd tell the screws he was your cousin & was struggling & they'd let you spend hours over in G wing chewing the fat, madness.

I was a screw in HMP Glenochil when Baldy came to us in a neck brace after being attacked in Kilmarnock, I mind he came out to get his meds, this was in the digger. I remember expecting to see this massive guy come out the cell like the picture of him that was in paper at that time, he was the total opposite, nothing to him. Lost a power of weight, tbh he looked stressed and like he had no sleep. Crazy man.
Can i ask are the muslim guys as big in scotish jails as they are in england? Would they get the same protection up ur way as they would south of the border? Im welsh so not got a clue lol
They'll never do up here what they are doing down there. The main reason for that is the numbers. Not enough of them. They're a tiny minority up here.

I'm talking about the radicalised Muslim gangs down south. They will never take over the Scottish Prison system. Trust me. Down south they're grooming people who are vulnerable to convert. Then the rest. Won't happen here. Yeah Scotland has a lot more minorities than before but England has 120 prisons or something like that whereas we have 15 or something. There's nowhere near enough of them and if one day there is enough I can see it becoming EXTREMELY ugly.
