    Great info - thanks! However, the time allotted was way too short to adequately cover the topic - I got the gist of it, but I'm still not quite understanding how valve functions correspond with various implements and their usages. Perhaps you could have another video with a more descriptive explanation of the types of valves best suited for what kinds of implements, what type of implements will or will not work with what type of valves, etc., etc.

    I bought a used Kubota M9540 which has two rear remotes; the levers have locking detents at both ends of travel (both forward and aft). Based on what you said, I'm assuming that they are self canceling valves? My manual doesn't describe them, so I have never used them in the locked positions.

    • @MessicksEquip

      Odds are the first is self canceling, 2nd is float.

    We have a M5-111 (in UK) we have a post driver that needs a free flow return would you suggest getting a coupler plumbed directly to the return, just connect it like usual into one set of spool or something else as occasionally when working the hammer connected to the one set it will pop out of detent.

    What type of rear hydraulic remotes would I need to operate a hydraulic motor? I would need for it to run steady until I turn it off. The motor is for a small 3pt potato digger. It will operate the potato chain. I would turn it on at the beginning of the row, and shut it off at the end of the row. Then repeat this for every row.

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  2 года назад

      This can vary by tractor. Most of these are not made for continuous operation. Best to have a knowledgeable person look at your machine.

    I like your TMT videos, but I think some of them could be more in depth, full length features... Like this one. I had a small Century tractor years ago, I think Mahindra now, with a front loader and I hated that I couldn't lift and roll the bucket at the same time. If I tried either the bucket would roll, dumping its contents, or the bucket would fall to the ground.

    Hi Neal, I am trying to connect a shaver HD8 PD to an MX5400 tractor. The dealer here, can’t seem to figure out where to tap into the MX hydraulic system to get a constant flow. The returns has to go directly to the hydraulic tank to avoid resistance and possible damage to the tractor’s hydraulic system. Any advise on how to hook up this implement to the tractor’s hydraulic?
    Thanks

      Pb port on the loader valve manifold, called power beyond, this is your constant flow. Return to tank.

    Hello, do Kabota tractors, compact and subcompact, come equipped with power beyond? My question is what exactly would I need to install two or three sets of remotes in the rear on a Kubota LX 3310 or an L 4060? All the videos I watched on RUclips have completely confused me. I would greatly appreciate he’s simple list of what I would need to and have to install.
