    Trail running is good for that stuff too. But you have to build it up over months. it's amazing how the number of times I sprained my ankle whent down after I started trail running and hitting different angles and letting my feet react to take care of my balance and weight distribution while moving. It's also fun to be able to run downhill having confidence I won't fall. feels like flying

All due to Fat Don’t Fly and Vert Code Elite. I also started wearing the Vibram five finger shoes about a month ago. My feet, ankles, and knees have never felt better. If Paul recommends doing it, DO IT! Thank you Paul and team!

  • @christiancoats1

    I've been studying this and implementing it. Am I correct that there's a series, with proper order,of contractions? In other words, it's not just a simultaneous contraction of all muscles involved at once.

    • @christiancoats1
      @christiancoats1 3 года назад

      If so, I see most teach that it starts with the muscles of the lower leg. In my observation it feels quicker to let the lower leg contract enough to stabilize, control and adjust to the surface, but that the major driver of force absorption is in the pelvis and radiates from there to the ground through the feet.

    • @christiancoats1
      @christiancoats1 3 года назад

      Ultimately the tendons of the feet and ankle tighten to give that rebound effect, but at that point a lot of force has been removed from those tendons.

  • @fjg9398
    @fjg9398 3 года назад +1

    This is legit, I’m a physiotherapy student and this will strengthen your tendons and improve muscle coordination. You should be careful going past phase 1 if you’re coming off of an acute tendon injury or tendinitis is all I want to add :)
    Very good job 👍

      Do you know the name of the ligament or tendon that makes your knee buckle to protect you from injury? It’s like the reason why you can’t jump right after falling from a two story building. I think it starts with a G like galbee ligament or something like that
